PART - 42 WAIT TILL FOREVER...!!
Hello readers... here I am with a new part...!! I thought of updating early... but then I couldn't complete it... it took me very long to think for each dialogue...!! And this part is the first ever proper and direct conversation of manik and nandini...!! And very close to me... so I expect good response...!!

At 12 am-
Nandini was not able to sleep...!! So she came out of her room... and then moved to the backside of the villa... she was roaming around... feeling the cold weather of London...!!
Then she settled herself on one of the easy chairs... and was remembering the whole day... how much fun they had... how happy they were... how much she enjoyed... after a long Time she she had an outing...
She was in her own thoughts... and staring at the sky when she felt someone's presence...!! She turned her face to see who it was... and she found manik... standing there...

Just like nandini even manik was not able to sleep... so he came to his room's balcony... he was lost in nandini's thought... her giggles... her smile... after a long time he saw her like that ... she was recovering...!! But then he remembered... the morning incident when she was missing her family...!! He was in his thoughts... when he saw nandini from his balcony...!! He observed her... and then he saw her sitting on the chair... so he came inside... and left downstairs...!!

As he reached he saw her lost in her own world...!!
He then cleared his throat... to grab her attention...!! That's when nandini looked at him...!! She gave him just one look and then shifted back her gaze to the sky...!! Manik then just settled on the other easy chair near by her.. !!
She kept staring at the sky...!! And Manik kept staring at her...
Both had their mind full of thoughts...!!
Nandini pov: I wish u were here amms... amma appa...!! I miss u...!! (Yes she was looking at the sky... not just like that but was find her family in those stars...!!) I am scared ... again... I am going to start up with my challenging journey...!! If u would have been here... then everything would have been so easy...!! Amms... since my childhood... u were the one... who taught me to everything...!! After amma appa... u became my everything... I knew.. if I will fall u will be there to pick me up...!! But now u are also not there... beside me... what if I fail...!! What if I won't be able to sing...!! (She was not crying... nor she was depressed... it was just that she was scared... in these two years... for the first time... she wanted to do something willingly... something good...!! But it's said naa... every good comes with a challenge... and her challenge was to fight against everything... and bring back music to her life...!! And since for the first time in these two years.. she was doing something positive... and wanted to be successful in this...!!)
Manik was observing her face... and could easily guess... that she was scared...and nervous...
Manik pov : Nandini I know u Are... scared to loose... loose ur music... and that's why u are missing ur family... ur strength...!! Ur amms... whom u lost because of me...!! I am the whole reason behind ur sadness... ur fear...!! But now... now I want to become ur strength... I won't let u fail...!! I won't let u loose ur music...!! U have already lost alot because of me...!!
Nandini pov: I know I have all of them by my side now... they won't let me fall... they will be there for me... just like they have been till now...!! A constant support... I pushed them away so many times... but they always came back... and wished for my happiness... they are doing do much for my happiness...!! They are no less than a family...!! but still I miss my family...!! U...!!(Amms) I want to get well... I want to be that old nandini... ur nandini... just like before... and then go back to Rishabh... I left him... my only family... u are with me naa amms...??
I know I am a really bad daughter... and sister... because of someone else... I gave u both so much of pain...!! But please don't leave my side... be with me...!! ( with this she closed her eyes... unknowingly praying...!! Yes she was praying... thought not to her aiyappa but still atleast she was praying...)
Manik pov: Nandini I cannot give u ur amms back... but I promise to give u Rishabh back in ur life...!! Ur family...!! I know ur happiness is in them...!! Whatever it takes... I will bring them back to u...!! I will make u the same old nandini...!! Who was fearless... who lived like a carefree bird...!! Who would get happy on small small things... and would never loose hope... even in the worst times...!! who cared for everyone... who loved everyone...!! I will make u love urself...!! BUT I DON'T KNOW... WILL U EVER BE ABLE TO LOVE ME... JUST LIKE THE OLD NANDINI...!!
As manik thought that will nandini be able to love him again... but first she needed to forgive him...!! And unknowingly... his thoughts become loud... and came out of his mouth...
Manik: WILL U EVER BE ABLE TO FORGIVE ME NANDINI...??
Nandini who had her eyes closed till now... openned listening to him...!! She looked at him...!! And manik then realised he said it loud...!! And then instead of avoiding this topic... he again asked same question.. whether she will ever be able to forgive him...??
Nandini at first didn't said anything... because his this question was so sudden...!! She after looking at him for once... shifted her gaze back to the sky...!! Manik thought she won't answer... but then she said... actually asked...
Nandini: FORGIVE U FOR WHAT...!!
Manik couldn't say anything... out of shame...
Nandini: U ARE ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS... AND U DON'T KNOW WHY...?? (She was talking very casually...)
Manik then finally got his courage back somehow and said...
Manik: CAN U FORGIVE ME FOR LEAVING U...!!
Nandini: IT WASN'T UR FAULT...!! THE FAULT WAS MINE... THAT I TRUSTED...!! AND EXPECTED TOO MUCH...!!
Manik lowered his head in guilt...!! And then said...
Manik: NO... NANDINI U WEREN'T AT FAULT...!! I WAS THE ONE... WHO COULDN'T KEEP ALL THOSE PROMISES...
Nandini : PROMISES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN...!! ATLEAST THIS I HAVE UNDERSTOOD...!! ( She was all calm... or we can say trying to behave calm...)
Manik : NO NANDINI... PROMISES ARE MEANT TO BE KEPT BUT I COULDN'T KEEP THEM... THAT DOESN'T MEAN U WON'T TRUST ANYONE...!!
( With this nandini lost calm...!! Because she was already missing her family... and on top of that manik reminded her of his own betrayal...!! And with that... all those people's faces came in front of her who left her... her amms... her parents... even yash...!! )
Nandini: IT WAS NOT ONLY U...!! AT EVERY STEP OF MY LIFE...!! EVERYTIME... I TRUSTED PEOPLE...!! THEY SHOWED ME... SHOWED ME... WHY I SHOULD'NT HAVE... TRUSTED THEM...!!
Manik: NO NANDINI... IT'S NOT LIKE THAT...!! UR PARENTS... UR AMMS... ALL WERE FORCED BY DEATH...!! THEY DIDN'T MEAN TO LEAVE...!! THEY WERE BOUND TO...!!
Nandini : WHAT ABOUT DAD...!! HE JUST LEFT ME LIKE THAT...!! THAT TIME I TRUSTED SOMEONE AGAIN... BUT HE...!! HE LEFT ME...!! U KNOW... I STARTED TAKING ALCOHOL... AFTER HE WENT AWAY...!! BUT... NO AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL... COULD ME... FORGET HIM...!! AND U...!! HAVE HURT ME THE MOST OF ALL...!! (A tear drop fell from her eye...)
Manik wanted to tell her about yash... but thought it's not the right time...!! She is already very vulnerable...!! And then when she said the last line... his concentration stuck on that...!! He knew he was the sole reason from where all this began...!!
Nandini was till now looking towards the sky only... lying on that easy chair... so manik got up from his chair... and wiped her tears...!!
Manik: Please don't cry...!! I know I have done wrong...!! But will u never forgive me for this...??
Nandini: I CAN FORGIVE... U...!! FORGIVE U FOR HURTING ME...!! (Manik felt little relieved... but then...) BUT I MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO FORGIVE FOR WALKING AWAY FROM ME...!! (With this nandini also sat up straight... and faced him...!! ) U TELL ME...!! FOR WHICH FAULT OF MINE... U LEFT ME...?? HAAN...?? KYA GALTI THI MERI...?? WAS I RESPONSIBLE FOR BREAKING OF FAB 5...??
Manik looked down and nodes in no...!!
Nandini: U JUST DECIDED TO LEAVE...!! U KNOW... WHAT WAS MOST PAINFUL... U LEFT ME WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME WHAT WAS MY FAULT...!!
Manik: U WERE NEVER AT FAULT... ! IT WA... (Nandini cut him in between...)
Nandini : THEN WHY WAS I PUNISHED...?? WHY DID U PUNISH ME...??
Manik: I WAS NOT IN A CORRECT STATE OF MIND...!! I JUST COULDN'T THINK STRAIGHT...!! THAT'S WHY... I TOOK THAT DECISION... I REGRET EVERY BIT OF IT...!! I NEVER MEANT TO MAKE U SUFFER...!!
Nandini: BUT EVENTUALLY U DID...!! IN ALL UR INSECURITIES... FIGHTS... I WAS THE ONE WHO SUFFERED...!! (She took a pause...) DID I EVER BACKED OUT... WHEN U WERE IN ANY PROBLEM...?? ( he nodded in no...) THEN WHY DIDN'T U TALKED TO ME...?? WHY DIDN'T U DISCUSSED ALL UR WORRIES WITH ME...?? ( She sighed and looked the other side... on not getting any reply... she tried to control herself...!!)
Manik : I WANTED TO SHARE ALL MY WORRIES WITH U...!! I WANTED TO SHARE MY PAIN... BUT I JUST COULDN'T...!! I KNOW I HAVE HURT U...!! BUT I DIDN'T MEAN TO...!! I WANTED TO COME BACK... NANDINI... BACK TO U...!! BUT THEN BECAUSE OF NYONIKA I COULDN'T...!!
Nandini: HUH...!! MAINE PEHLE BHI KAHA THA... U NEVER WANTED TO COME BACK FOR ME...!! BECAUSE IF U WOULD HAVE WANTED TO COME BACK FOR ME...!! THEN... U WOULDN'T HAVE WAITED FOR UR FRIENDS TO REUNITE.. U WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THREE MONTHS... FOR THINKING TO COME BACK...!!
Manik somewhere knew... she was right in this... but he knew how he spent those 3 months without her...!! Even whole 2 years... how he has spent this long long time without her...!!
Nandini: I AM NOT SAYING U DID WRONG...!! U DID ALL THAT TO PROTECT UR FRIENDS... FRIENDS LIKE THEM... WE GET ONCE IN A LIFE TIME...!! THEY ARE PRECIOUS...!!BUT U COULD HAVE TALKED WITH ME...!! BUT NO U NEVER DID THAT...!!
Manik was just listening to her quietly... because he didn't had anything to say...!!
Nandini: EVERYDAY... EVERYDAY... SINCE U LEFT... I WOULD GET UP... WITH A HOPE THAT TODAY... U WILL COME...!! AND SAY NANDINI I AM BACK...!! BUT U.. U NEVER CAME...!! WITH TIME HOPES FADED...!! I WANTED TO STOP MYSELF FROM FEELING FOR U...!! I WANTED TO... LOOSE THOSE FEELINGS...!! SAME AS I LOST U...!! ( She looked at manik.. he looked hurt...) AND WHEN I THOUGHT I LOST THOSE FEELINGS FINALLY... THEN U CAME BACK... AND I GOT TO KNOW... I NEVER ACTUALLY LOST THOSE FEELINGS...!! I TOH HAD LOST MYSELF... NOT THOSE FEELINGS...!!
(Manik got a ray of hope... thinking... she still feels for him...!!)
Nandini: SEEING YOU... AGAIN... BOUGHT ALL THOSE FEELINGS... THOSE MEMORIES... BACK...!! AND SOMETIMES I THINK... LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN SO DIFFERENT...!! IF U DIDNT HAVE LEFT THAT TIME...!! WE WOULD BEEN HAPPY...!!
Manik also thought the same...!! Everything would have been so different... so good...!! If he would have trusted his friendship...!! His love...!! His nandini...!!
Nandini: SEE WHERE HAS UR JUST ONE WRONG DECISION BROUGHT US...!! THE NAME (MANIK) WHICH ONCE BECAME MY EVERYTHING... MY HAPPINESS... MY STRENGTH... THE REASON OF MY LIFE...!! TODAY HURTS ME THE MOST...!! UR NAME HURTS ME SO MUCH...!!
Manik... now understood why she never took his name...!! He by now gathered some courage and said...
Manik: I WILL DO ANYTHING... U JUST SAY IT... LIKE ANYTHING... TO GIVE U THAT HAPPY LIFE...!! I KNOW I CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO CHANGE THE PAST...!! BUT I WILL DO EVERY POSSIBLE THING... FOR OUR BETTER FUTURE...!! (He said all this while holding her hands...)
Nandini : MY ANSWER IS STILL THE SAME... I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FORGIVE U...!! SO DON'T KEEP UR HOPES HIGH... BECAUSE WHEN HOPES ARE SHATTERED... EVERYTHING GETS FINISHED... AND NO ONE ELSE CAN KNOW THIS BETTER THAN ME...!!
Manik's face fell listening this even nandini noticed it... she didn't knew why she felt bad... for him... may be today his honest apology... somewhere melted her...!! His acceptance for his mistake... made nandini also soft...!! And unknowingly words escaped from her mouth...
Nandini: IF... I CANNOT FORGIVE... THAT DOESN'T MEAN U CANNOT BE IN MY LIFE...!!
( Nandini said this subconsciously looking at him... may be her heart was wanting him to stay... may be she didn't wanted to loose him again...!! With this she stood up to leave...)
Manik... his happiness knew no bounds... because unknowingly... she gave him a hope... a chance... to set everything right... between both of them...!!
Manik saw her leaving...!! He then stood up and called her...!! She turned back to him...!!
Manik: I WILL WAIT...!! WAIT TILL FOREVER...!! IF THAT'S WHAT... IT WILL TAKE U... TO FORGIVE ME...!! AND TRUST ME AGAIN...!! (He said with a new spark in his eyes and a smile on his face...!! )
Nandini saw a determination on his face... and his words... were as if a medicine to her wounded soul... she saw his honesty... her heart somewhere started trusting him...!! She kept looking at him...
THEY STOOD THERE... SAYING NOTHING...!! BUT IT WAS THE KIND OF NOTHING WHICH MEANT EVERYTHING...!!
Manik silently vowed... to bring her back in his life...!! And nandini... looked at him in such a way... as if telling him that she too wanted the same... but is not able to get over her past...!!
Manik was the first one to break the eye lock... and then he said... that she should sleep... as it's very late...!! She left from there... without saying anything... because she was too much occupied by her thoughts...!!
Manik stood there silently... seeing her going... and when she finally was out of his sight... he turned and looked back at the sky...!!
Manik pov: SOMEWHERE SHE HAS STARTED FORGIVING ME...!! I WILL NOT LET ANYTHING BAD HAPPEN THIS TIME... I WILL WIN HER TRUST BACK...!! I WILL GIVE HER... HER FAMILY BACK...!! WHETHER IT'S YASH UNCLE... OR RISHABH...!!
AMMS... I WILL MAKE UR GRANDDAUGHTER THE SAME... LIKE BEFORE...!! I KNOW BECAUSE OF ME U BOTH LOST EACH OTHER...!! I NEVER SAID SORRY TO U..!!(Tears fell from his eyes...) SORRY AMMS FOR DOING THIS TO NANDINI...!! BUT TODAY I PROMISE U... I WILL BE THERE FOR HER ALWAYS...!! I WILL GIVE HER ALL THE LOVE THAT SHE DESERVES...!! I WILL MAKE HER BELIEVE IN GOD AGAIN...!! After his talking with amms he left from there... to his room... but before going to his room... he went to nandini's room... to check her... as he openned the door he saw her sleeping... he moved near her... and kissed her forehead and said... I WILL NOT LET US FALL APART THIS TIME...!!
