This is my last OS (for now, maybe). Because I was so unsatisfied and disappointed with the last episodes and how they have handled MaNan "elegance", I thought of writing my own version of it.

The Next Step
Nandini looked around the room. Lighting, check. Dcor, check. Cake, check. Candles, check. Dress, check. Matching underwear, check. She blushed. Tonight, Manik was in for a surprise. It was his birthday and she would be gifting him the most precious thing ever, herself. She thought back to all the times they had made out and blushed some more. She felt so ready to take the next step and what perfect moment than this. Her belly was full of fluttering butterflies as she kept checking the time and smoothening her dress or hair or the table cloth that lined the coffee table on which she had placed a beautiful heart shaped red velvet cake which she had baked. She wanted everything to be perfect. The knock on her bedroom door alerted her that he had arrived. Calming her jumpy nerves, she went to open the door. When she saw him, she almost fainted. He was so gorgeous. She could gobble him up. She gave herself a mental smack on the head. Nandini Murthy did not think of gobbling up guys, so what if this was her boyfriend! But he looked so handsome in the crisp white shirt which he had tucked into his black pants. She wanted to untuck, unbutton and do mad things to his abs! Again, she shook her head, mentally reprimanding herself for such thoughts! Manik looked at her with a bemused smile wondering what was going on in that pretty little head. He noticed she looked alluring and remembered how she had seduced him into confession during the jungle night. His hand automatically went to his jaw, reliving the punch she had given him for the stunt he had pulled. They had come such a long way. One thing was for sure, she had something on her mind. And he was going to play dumb. Oh, she would be furious. He put on his best innocent smile, cleared his throat and asked her "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?". She looked at him, ten expressions from alarm to resignation to a calmness crossing her face before she responded, "Oh yes. Manik. You never ask for permission, so why now? Come right in!". She took his arm and led him over to the table where the cake was. It was a very pretty looking cake. She stood on her tiptoes and whispered into his ear, "happy birthday my boyfriend", and then gently kissed him on his cheek. She then pointed towards the knife, indicating that he should cut the cake. Nandini was shaking inwardly but kept telling herself to keep calm and just do it. Her mind was on the seduction and she could not understand why. He smelled so good. It was unnerving her. It was not as though they had not made out before. They had. They had crazy kissed each other. But she suddenly realised that is all that they had done. Nothing more. And now, now she wanted them to take it to the next level. He was clearly ready. Heck! When was he not ready?! But she? She had not done this, ever. Could she seduce him? Yes, an inner voice told her. Manik was crazy in love with her. Her one touch and he melted. All she had to do was kiss him and he would be undone. Yes. That is what she would do. She asked him to take a seat on the big love seat which she had probably asked Rishab to help set in her bedroom. And with a piece of cake in her hand, she sat right on top of him. Manik's eyes nearly popped out. She fed him the cake and then gently licked her fingers off. He was getting uncomfortable and she was oblivious to it. She then brought her face so close to his and asked, "So, Mr Malhotra, what would you like for your birthday?". Oh the temptation. He wanted to tell her all the dirty thoughts going on in his head but thought he would let her do the talking instead. "You tell me Miss Murthy. What do you propose to give me?". She cupped one side of his face then, and brought hers even closer and gently kissed him on his mouth. Kissing her was like jumping off a plane during sky diving. Every part of your body tingled. Every part of his body was tingling. He had to really control the messages his brain was sending him, to grab her and get wild. No, no Manik. Slow down. Let her take the reins this time, he told himself. Tentatively, she deepened the kiss and he then wrapped his arms around her back. They were nestled so close in that love seat, there was no room for either of them to move so their every part was touching and the sensations he was feeling was indescribable. His innocent Nandini was initiating the make out for the first time. She slowly trailed soft kisses along his jawline, as his breathing got heavier and then she traced his ear with her tongue and nipped his earlobe. He nearly came undone. WHEN DID SHE GET SO BRAZEN?! He tightened his arm around her and ran his hand up and down her spine as he suddenly found his shirt untucked and the first two buttons undone. She placed an open mouthed kiss on the base of his neck and placed tiny little kisses on his collarbone. He could not take it anymore. He found the zipper of her dress and slowly undid it. His hands were finally caressing her bare back and she let out a moan. Manik took this opportunity to kiss her with so much passion and she responded with equal ardour, her hands in his hair and her body flush against his. He kissed the base of her neck as he ran his hands up her sides, feeling her and then gently lowered her dress exposing her shoulders. He planted a kiss on either side and felt her shudder. She threw her head back exposing all of her neck and chest. She was so beautiful. So beautiful. He looked into her eyes with a question in his and she nodded slowly, giving herself to him. All this while, none of them had uttered a word but they had had an entire conversation. He lifted her up in his arm and purposefully strode towards the bed, never breaking the eye contact. He lowered her on the bed and said, "my turn now, baby" and proceeded to love her until the early hours of the morning.
