"Manik" he heard a passionate voice calling him and suddenly he turned to see Nandini standing next to him.

"Tum akele akele kya baat kar rahe ho ? Sab teekh hai na?" Nandini asked him with a lot of concern in her voice.

Manik had forgot for a while what he was thinking about, as a smile crept his face "Casee... Case" (he was out of words, he was in dilemma whether Nandini heard of what he said ? that was the topic which was now occupying his head)

"Manik" Nandini again broke him from his thought. "I hope your fine" she said.

"Perfect" he said with his trademark smile. "Actually mein apni phone bhool gayi thi" Nandini justified herself. "Relax Nandini ! Tumhe mere cabin an eke liye reason nahi chahiye ! Remember the friends thingy ?!" Manik said.

"Nandu...! Mere saare friends mujhe Nandu bulathe hai" she said.

"Nandini means one who brings joy right? So tumhe Nandini hi perfect hai" he said. Nandini had a bright smile on her face, she smiled the way she smiled never smiled for months.

"Mein jaati hoon" Nandini bid Manik a final good bye.

"Tum Navya waha rehti hoon na ? Aaj shyam tak tumhara petition ka legal procedures complete hoga. Tumhara sign lene mein avooga." Manik said also bid her a good bye.

It was about 9:00pm and now Manik was outside NAvya's apartment. He rang the bell and was within fraction of seconds Navya was in the doorstep.

"Hello, Manik Sir, Nandu ne bola ki aap aayenge. Please andhar aayiye" Navya said with utmost respect in her voice.

Manik realized that he had a serioud image infront of Navya and said "Manik... That's my name, Manik Sir nahi" he said with a smile on his face as he sat on the couch. Navya too smiled to his sweet behavior.

"Nandu naha rahi hai (taking a shower) thodi deer mein aajegi" Navya said as she went into the kitchen to fetch water for Manik.

Manik was now scanning the girls living room. It had a lot of pictures of Navya and Nandini. It also had a single picture of Nandini. Manik traced his fingers over her cheecks and through her smile in the picture.

Suddenly Navya came and gave Manik a glass of water. "Woh college days ki pictures hai" Navya said. Manik just hummed.

"Navya washroom jaa sakte ho?" Manik asked Navya and she directed him upstairs to the guest bedroom.

Manik was now upstair and about to enter guest room, when he got a glimpse from the slightly open door of the other room.

Nandini was drying her hair. She was patting her hair from left to right and vice versa. Manik just couldn't take his eyes off from her, as if he felt some strong magnetic force of attraction pulling him closer to her.

Wooo Hhhooo Ooohhh Hooo...

Zara Sa Yaadhon Mein Basa (Manik's eyes fell on the water droplets on Nandini's shoulder and cheeks)

Mein Chahun Tujhko (She kept ruffling her hair, and so was his stare on her)

Fida Hoon Tujhpe (He was almost killed with by her beauty, that was the only thing that flashed his mind)

He walked inside the guest room before Nandini came out of her room and locked him in. He was still smiling.

Suddenly he received Mukti's call.

Mukti - Tu kaha hai ? Jaldi aa ja Mere yaha !

Manik ( Confused) - Kya hogaya Mukti ?

Mukti - tu bhool gaya ? (She almost screamed) Kal Dhruv aur woh aa raha hai na? Surprise party arrange karna hai na ?

Manik - Ohhh ! Haan Han yaad hai ! Important kaam pe hoon, will catch you up in an hour or half? Teekh hai na?

Mukti - tu meeting pe hai ? toh woh complete karke aa ! Vaisey aha toh Abhi mujhe help kar raha hai ! Cabir kisi artitect se milne gayi thi aur uske baad uska fuse off hai !

Manik ( laughing) - then see you at ur place !

Cutting the phone, Manik walked off the room and went downstairs. NavNi was already waiting for him.

Mukti's House

"Abhiii ! Aisa nahi, usse aise decorations pasand nahi hai tujhe pata hai na?" Mukti scolded Abhi for the 100^th time for bringing the worst off colours in HER list.

"Mukti...! Usse pasand nahi, usse pasand nahi...! Tujhe pata hain, yeh pata hain... Mein kya uska boyfriend lagta hoon tujhe ya uska secretary uske likes aur dislike ka list mere paas hoga?" Abhi was now impulsive.

"Ohh ya, mein toh bhool gaya ! tujhe aapne girlfriends ka bhi likes aur dislikes pata nahi right ABHIMANYU THAKKAR" Mukti mocked him.

Mukti was almost running errands for arranging the surprise party, as Cabir was lost in his so - called - stupid thoughts and Abhi busy ruining Mukti's hardwork.

"Abhi...! Phir se sab kuch kharab kar diya na ... toh swear I will not spare you" Mukti was now almost shrieking in anger.

"Relax Mukti relax...! Aaram se karo" Abhi tried advinsing her or something, because he was never fit for advising anyone.

"Tum mujhe mat batao" Mukti angrily told Abhi, and before she could complete she tripped over a curtain and was about to fall.

She felt as if her breath stopped for fraction of seconds, as if her heart stopped pumping blood, because now she was in Abhi's arms.

Zehnaseeb, Zehanaseeb

Tujhe chaahun betahasha zehnaseeb (He eyes were moist, not because she was sad, but she was extremely happy today)

Mere kareeb, mere habeeb . (Abhi gives her his smile and says "Kaha dha meine, Aaram se karo" )

Tujhe chaahun betahasha zehnaseeb (Mukti was too numb to react to any of his taunts)

This was maybe the first ever time, she was in hir arms, the place she had always wanted to be. Abhi taunted her, but all this never mattered for her at that point of time, if anything was important then it was those moments which she had waited for since long.

Tere sang beete har lamhe pe humko naaz hai (She now stood on her feet and adjusted herself, Abhi enquired if she was fine)

Tere sang jo na beete uspe aitraaz hai (She just nodded in agreement)

Iss kadar hum dono ka milna ek raaz hai (Abhi makes her sit in the near by chair and asks her not to do the remaining work and promises to handle everything in matured way, which came much to Mukti's astonishment)

"Toh kaam ghatam !" Manik exclaimed, "Actually kal mein toda out of work hoga, mera friend aa raha hai Paris se, toh issiliye inte raat ko yaha ana pada, or else trust me mein aise nahi ata" Manik was now busy justifying himself.

"Koi baat nahi, vaise bhi its just 9:30 na" Navya said in a jovial tone, but what he wanted to hear was Nandini's voice, yes he had been talking to her for almost half an hour and it seemed like it wasn't enough for him.

"Toh mein chalti hoon" Manik bid good bye and was about to leave, he hoped Nandini to speak to him, but she didn't, she just had a "fake" smile according to him. Now this worrying him more, as to what and why was Nandini upset, angry or anything ?!

Manik came out of their apartment in disappointment, when he realized his car's tyres were puncture.

"Oh hell" Manik yelled as heavy rain began to pour down. He ran to NavNi's apartment and rang the bell.

"Manik, tum...! Yeh kya hogaya?" Nandini asked him without lot of concern after seeing his drenched condition.

Nandini steadily gave him a towel to dry his hair.

Main jaan ye vaar doon

Har jeet bhi haar doon

Keemat ho koi tujhe beinteha pyaar doon (Nandini looked Manik with lot of passion and concern)

Haan hasi ban gaye (Manik's eyes met Nandini's)

Haan nami ban gaye (Their eyes talked a lot of things, which they were unaware of)

Tum mere aasmaan (A lone tear rolled down Nandini's cheek)

Meri zameen ban gaye (She immediately breaking the eyelock, turned and wiped her tears even before Manik could see)

"Aap, ab kya karoge?" Navya asked in shock seeing Manik's condition. "Friend ko call karta hoon" was the only reply he had for her question.

Manik immediately called Cabir. Cabir's phone was ringing continuously, while was thinking about his encounters with Navya.

"Haan Sir... Aap betiyien na.. Aap coffee peeyenge ya chai ?" Navya's words were continuously echoeing his ears, suddenly Mukti was his phone ringing and saw Manik's caller ID and picked up the phone.

Manik- Cabir, tu phone kyoon nahi uthaya yaar (in a concerned tone)

Mukti - relax Manik, its me Mukti, aur haan Cabir ka tension le rahe hai tum ? Then don't worry woh yaha sapna dekh raha hai (She taunted Cabir, and patted on his shoulders to drive him back to reality)

Manik - Cabir se kaho ki mera gaadi ka tyres puncture hogaya aur upar se heavy rain ! Mein ek client ke ghar pe hoon, so Usse galdi aane ko kaho

Mukti - Hmm! Batatihoon.

Mukti hangs the call.

Cabir who was now witnessing the end of their conversation enquired Mukti about Manik's call. Cabir by then had got the message from Manik regarding the address.

Manik leans in the big couch in NavNi's home and keeps thinking about Nandini's sudden change in behavior. "Kya hua hoga usse" Manik kept asking himself maybe for almost 90 times, yet he was clueless.

Nandini on the other hand was on the terrace "Pyaar exist hi nahi karta Nandini" she shouted, as if she was convincing herself.

"Aryaman se pyaar kiya tumne ryt?! You thought everything was so perfect na? Ab dekho kya horaha hai? Usne tumhe dhoka diya na ?" she yelled. Tears were brimming from her eyes. "Aur ab tumhe Manik se ...! Never...!" She continued yelling. "The point is Pyaar jaisa cheez hi galat hai, doosra, mein Manik ko acche se janti tak nahi ho !, And teesra, mein ek divorce hone wali ho ! aur woh ek eligible bachelor" she kept on continuing. "Tumhe ek stop lagane hi hoga Nandini, even before things get worse, your this initial feeling get more strong" tears had no boundaries. But, the most strange thing was, she never cried in such intensity for Aryaman, for leaving him.! She had cried not for him, but on her mistake on trusting him. But today, she was for the first time crying for a guy and it was Manik.

Hellooo all !... Its been quite long since I updated...! So initially i'm sorry for the late update and now this messy and sort of shitting crap ...! I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart if u get on ur nervous at the end of the update...! SOrrry... I have been occupied with my xams and hence can't update it every now and then...! I hope you understand...! As soon as I finish off with my xams i will surely give u all an amazing update...!
