chapter 11

She slowly walked into my room and seeing the mirror , the smug on her face wasn't leaving , while Manik crashed on his bed , looking at his vintage watch yet again .

His pocket watch wasn't an ordinary piece, there were only 2 other same pocket watches like those existing.

And of course one of those lay with the person who had actually given Manik , his grandfather .

However bad his family problems were , the only person who was family to him was his grandfather who believed that the pocket watches reminds you of the time you spent with your loved ones , however long they it might be it always feels less , yet truth is that if you don't run time , time runs you .

He was caressing it and remembering the time he spent with her .

It was soo special to him

While Nandini on her bed was toiling with emotions, she was scared , excited , happy and a million more feeling sizzled her nerve endings

"bhai ...how was your trip "

"achha tha...come lets get ready , fab5 will kill me if I'm late for jamming "

And they both walked into the college, while Nandini was lost in her thoughts seeing the ground

She was reminded of her first ever meeting with Manik

She , just like other was ragged , thrown an egg on by Manik

She laughed thinking about that moment now!

And then she had punched Manik one on his face , poor guy still remembers it .

Well , just then her always- late brother made a grand entry screwing his own band for trying tricks on his sister , to which each member leaving aside their egos had said sorry to her.

Although she hated them for ragging, but those four idiots hadn't ever seen her till then , so she forgave them.

But that day and ever since Manik was her monster .

Her monster, she blushed thinking about it

"Nandini , what has happened to you ?"" are you in your senses ,you're smiling just like that ?" cabir asked

Suddenly she steadied herself and bid him goodbye and went to her class before she was showered with more questions.

Manik in the jam room was playing guitar alone , when suddenly harshad walked in

This guy had some serious fuse issues with Manik , well as if Manik had any less .

Manik didn't want to spoil his mood , he kept playing , when suddenly he heard

" so cabir's sister haan !...well good luck bro , or rather hard luck right ?" harshad spoke

" my life is none of your business "

"it is , you rejected my sister , Alia"

"she is now dating Dhruv , so cut it "

"but I cant believe you rejected my sister for that murthy !..these murthy brother -sister are a pain..."he couldn't speak more as he was chocked up by Manik .

"Nandini or not ,whoever I rejected Alia for isn't your concern ..go find some new drug business to handle .dude "he said shaking him

" so it is Nandini , right ?"

Manik held him tighter, when suddenly the door flung open and the only person who shouldn't have been there , was there

"Manik , leave him "

"cabir , tu jaa ..i ll handle "

"Manik leave him and harshad leave the room right now or you know"

Harshad walked away giving a glare to cabir and Manik .

And then cabir walked out of the room excusing himself from the fab3 who were just about to enter .

Manik stood there , knowing that cabir had definitely heard everything .

He must have gotten to know the reason finally!

The reason why a month back when alia had proposed Manik in front of the rest , he had asked for time .

A week time

A week , probably the most blissful week of his life yet

He and Nandini sang every day , rehearsed as he taught her guitar

They both talked a lot

And it was her birthday when he had finally realized that it was her and had told alia about how he couldn't be with her , upsetting the other 3 and since then cabir had been bothering him for the truth .

Just the next day they left for their concert , hence cabir had been mum about it for a while now .

Manik hurried out of the room , only to see cabir had left with the car

He definitely had gone home

He went back to the jamming session , planning things in his mind .

Soon enough it was afternoon and Nandini was heading home , on the way looking for Manik , if she could go with him.

She called up cabir and was asking his whereabouts when Nandini saw Manik

"Manik "

Manik smiled and went over , only to realize that she was on the call with her brother

He waved her and left , leaving Nandini with dazzled with the strange behavior

She had gotten upset with Manik , as now he wasn't even answering her calls .

She went home and locked her room , making cabir suspicious with her huffing - puffing - anger face .

It was evening , when suddenly the bell rang

Cabir opened the door only to see the unexpected guy at the expected place .

If he truly loves you , he will love you when you are an ocean breeze , but also when you are a summer storm . You were not made to be loved in parts ,but as a whole .

well sorry for no crude manan, it was a base chapter and now that its is over , we're almost there . one more update tmrw and then i m sure u'll love the surprise waiting 😉
