"Manik , don't tell me again like last time we ' ll go for a drive and get lost! "

"we dint get lost Nandini , we just forgot where the right turn was , that's it " he said , trying to sound as genuine as possible , while failing miserably

Manik looked at the girl sitting with her legs sprawled almost over him , her one arm around his shoulder and still busy reading her favorite mystery novel.

He sometimes , really felt , he should have been a criminal , maybe his Sherlock Holmes fan girl laying almost in his lap would pay a little more attention to him.

Unknowingly his long fingers entangled themselves in her long dark chocolate hair as he pushed himself towards her , placing a soft kiss over them.

"Nandini , 5 minutes are over naaa...please " he said

He was unlike all other boyfriends, who would be angry at their girls for not doing the way they wanted, because for him she was perfect the way she was

I look to her in the simplest , smallest moments -when she drinks coffee or reads a book

I'm breathless , breathless knowing it doesn't take a million dollar telescope to witness the crushing beauty of the universe

"ok , I m sorry " she said , slowly hugging him by his side , while he broke into a huge smile .

In a half an hour , both were sitting on the ground , at Manik's out house , in between a huge mess of things and a few books held on to their pages with paperweights .

" Manik , pass me the magnifying glass there ..." she said trying fix to the first one to tube with tape , while Manik was assorting things from a box after having read a page of the book .

He himself wondered, how he had changed so much, he had never concentrated on reading any book so patiently until this pixie girl had turned him into this new avatar with her wand and definitely as usual these thoughts made a slight smile dance on his lips .

.Time passed.

"Manik ...Manik " she shouted , only to look back at her boyfriend busily eating a chocolate like a kid

She wanted to cuddle him just right away.

She slowly moved herself near him and softly whispered "this is cheating "in her ever so innocent voice .

He saw her and slowly showed her the last bit of the chocolate which was left

" only this much is left sorry "

She squinted her eyes, trying to fake her anger , while he burst into a laughter seeing her try the usual anger card on him .

" here it is then "he whispered as she tasted her favorite chocolate from his lips and both were lost in each other with their hands wound around the other and their breaths intermingled .

She broke apart, complaining " Manik , we need to focus , please "

" we can focus later , you see " he said with his usual smirk, which Nandini definitely had hots for

She punched him lightly in his stomach as their laughter rung in the small room.

In a moment , both were back to work to finish it off

"done "she said as they both inserted two tubes into one another .

Her excitement had no bounds, when suddenly Manik came with a huge paper and paint

"Manik ...now what ?" she questioned him , with a blank face

He slowly took her hand , kissing them before dipping them into the paint .

Nandini had lone tear in her eye, she had never felt more loved in her life

Manik after a minute pressed his own hand onto it and wrapped it around

.Around their telescope .

Their telescope ,

Which now laid on the floor , picturing a upside down image of two people who were madly in love and busy kissing each other with happiness soaring their hearts .
