The once in a lifetime kind of people.
Now
" I hate you " he said shouting at her
" I hate you more " she shouted back in her teenage voice , pushing him from herself and sitting in the car next to him .
Soon , they both reached their school , and got out of the car and made way into their class . everyone could easily see their red flustered faces and easily make out that these two had fought again.
Everyone in the school wondered how these two could laugh and stick together no matter what even when every second day they would yell at each other , push each other and run behind the other trying to pour water or a paint in revenge !
" unique these two are " everyone exclaimed
But everyone still wondered how these two poles apart souls were together all the time .
weird alchemy they thought , one geek and other a hottie .

Beginning
Excuse me , can I take this seat ?
" hmm"
He saw her , as she fiddled with the papers , not able to crease it properly.
Another 5 minutes and he couldn't take it anymore ,
He whispered " can I help u ?"
" yaa " she said , and looked at him
He slowly took the paper , creasing it with care , making perfect lines , not even one extra fold on them .
She saw how patient he was , as if it were some exquisite embroidery .
That day She for the first time in her life understood why people said origami was one of the most beautiful arts !
his long slender fingers turned , folded and cut the paper soo smoothly and beautifully making a water lily with those sheets ,
it looked soo perfect that , she was awestruck .
Her lips curled into a smile , the moment he slowly handed over the beautiful piece to her .
He saw the smile " beautiful ! he thought , wondering why she din't smile soo often when she had such an angelic one for herself !"
She knew him , Manik , he was the hottest and the most charming guy of the class , playing basketball , strumming his guitar , he was the heartthrob of the school and hadn't spared even one gal with his looks.
Nonetheless , she had never heard him date any girl and she had always wondered why ?
But , she had never spoken to him , or well she spoke to no one that's why !
" sooo , Nandini murthy right ?" he asked her bringing her out of her trance
" Yaa " she whispered , making sure she wouldn't get caught by the teacher and her favoritism wouldn't be risked at all
And slowly everyday during their origami classes he used to sit beside her , helping her , teaching her and soon enough in a week it was a routine .
Maybe manik was the first person Nandini had opened upto .
Manik understood she was an introvert and always respected that .
In a month , he would pick her up and drop her for she lived just two blocks away , studied with her in the library every day and dragged her to cafeteria and asked her to accompany him for his matches making sure she watched them and cheered for him all along.
Nandini all this while had realized how Manik was such a simple guy , indeed very sweet and a gentleman and of course very irritating .
Irritating her to open up to life , make her try new things all the time , take her out to places he loved , making her watch loads of movies while saying
" ohh common!...this is the last one for this week I promise Nandini !"
for every week and yet watching many more .

It had been almost a year and a half now , they had become besties .
They laughed together like maniacs, studied together ; when Nandini made all his notes and made him learn them soo that he too performed well , attended concerts and spent time talking all the while under the tree or just in a class .
They had become inseparable part of each other .
Manik had never seen someone more beautiful than her , Nandini , she was soo dedicated and compassionate towards everyone around her that many a times he would shout at her for being silent to all those who harmed in any possible way ,especially her own father .
he knew , that indeed it was her father , the reason why she had always lived in a shell .
Nandini's dad was a very very conservative person , who most of the year was away but whenever he would be back , Nandini hardly moved out of her room , and that indeed meant he couldn't be there or even found an inch near her throughout those days and his anger well , Nandini knew had noo bounds !
But she knew how to pacify her monster , err that's what she called him those days.
But the sweetheart that she was , she would slowly sneek into the kitchen when her dad would go for a nap and bake his favorite chocolate cake and carry it to school.
The sight would mesmerize her everytime , the glint in his eyes when he would see it and how he would just hug her tightly forgiving her seeing her holding her ears and pouting and the afterpicture of it , his hands and his face completely covered with chocolate . she couldn't never ever word emotions those moments had for her .
Seeing the way he ate soo untidily and hungrily Nandini would laugh
" you are such a baby manik !"
And then wipe his face properly while he would kiss her forehead and her hands praising the cake to no extends !
well , although i hav written a few stories now , but this is my first try at an alternate universe . i hope u guys like it .
