Manik hugged Nandini unable to keep the pain that he had inside him anymore; finally a lost, lonely and wounded boy found his home...and Nandini too reciprocated this feeling she found the safety that she had been searching in his arms.. He made her feels protected, loved and special... and thus two lost souls found home in each other...

After a while Manik broke the hug he cupped Nandini's face with his hands and kept looking at her.. "So what does your heart want Manik?" Nandini asked him.. "I don't know?" He replied She took his hand and put it right on his heart and said "Listen to what you're heart says to you at 72 beats per minute speed and that's what your heart desires.." Manik closed his eyes "Peace, love and you.. that's what my heart desires Nandini.." Nandini blushed... "What does your heart want Nandini ?" Manik asked her

"Protection..love and.." She stopped and blushed.. "And what?" Manik was getting impatient... "Why do you want me Manik?" She asked a question in return... "Wow question for question! Not fair.." Manik replied... "But I want to know..why does your heart want me.." Nandini still was persistent... "Beacuse you are .. you are my str.." Manik stopped before he said stranger...He wanted to surprise Nandini with her anklet.. "You are my what?" Nandini asked "Nothing.." Manik said.. Just as he was about to say something more he got a text from DJ saying "If sweet nothings are over please feel free to grace your own party.." with a wink sign...

"Let's go DJ wants us inside.." Manik said.. "Acha..wait wants us means she knows we are here..omg what would she be thinking..what did she saw?? Did she saw us.." Nandini was ranting out non stop closing her eyes and making Manik smile at her cute antic... "So what if she saw.. I don't want to hide.. I've hidden myself and my feelings for long enough but now no hiding.." Manik said as he extended his hand for Nandini which she grabbed with a smile... "But Manik let's just keep this a secret please.." Nandini requested.. "But why?" Manik was surprised.. "Because already Alya hates me and I don't want any further troubles please.." She requested.. "Ok.." Manik said although this logic was beyond his understanding but he agreed whereas Nandini wanted to win every heart that was close to Manik's heart. And even though they broke up she knew he loved her a lot like a friend and valued her presence..

Manik and Nandini entered the party separately as per Manik's wish.. Cabir and DJ winked at him and he smiled back as a confirmation of his happiness but Alya and Dhruv were not at all happy.. Alya was fuming.. Nandini looked at Alya and her eyes made her fear for something bad that was gonna happen soon very soon... Nandini kept think that hope Alya didn't see anything... Her chain of thoughts were broken by DJ's voice. "As you all have gathered here for my grandson Manik's birthday I would like to thank all of you for coming and having fun and making it a success.." DJ said.. "But I have not given him any gift..Manik join me here.." She asked him to come up...Manik went and stood next to her and she took out few papers and gave it Manik.. "So here it is Manik's birthday gift the Power Of Attorney of Malhotra industries..." DJ said.. "From now on anything and everything in Malhotra industries will happen only if Manik want it to happen.." Her announcement left everyone shocked especially Manik and Neyonika..

Neyonika went up to Dj and said "How can you do this? He's a kid what does he know.. I've worked so hard.. I deserve it.. How just dare.." and before she could say anything more Manik stopped her and said "Relax Neyonika.. don't you dare.." Manik's anger was enough to drive her off... She walked away saying "this ain't over Manik.." Manik smirked and turned towards DJ "DJ I can't do this and I don't want to do this.. Please I love music and that's where I belong...And this belongs to you.." She replied with a smile "Your grand pa had a dream Manik.. To see you as Manik Malhotra chairman of Malhotra Industries.. I am not asking you to give up music never music makes you who are Manik Malhotra is music.. but I hope some day you will fulfill his dream too.." and she walked off..
