Chapter -3
nandini was in her cabin checking the pending files. manik was in the meeting. cabir comes in the cabin
c=manik..
nandini stands up. cabir gives her a disappointment look. nandini looks down. cabir walks up to her
n=sir meeting me ha. meeting khatam honeme abhi time ha
c=mujhe tumse baat karni ha.
n=sir.. mujhe kaam ha. yeh papers manik sir ne mujhe diya ha
c=nandini... we need to talk.
n=mujhe koi baat nahi karni ha
nandini was trying her best to avoid cabir's gaze. she tried to escape from there but cabir blocked her way
c=kabtak bhagogi?? face it damn it... jab shadi ki ha to ab kyu bhag rahiho???
nandini had no answer except shedding tears
c=you know what nandini ?? these tears, you have invited them for your own. kyu kiya tumne esa ?? i mean?? tum janti thi na ke manik aliya se pyar karta ha.. phir kyu?? kyu tumne ek sath teen zindigiya barbad ki?? why?? i mean, nandini since you joined manhotra group of companies i have always thought you are very matured, understanding girl then how come?? tum toa ..

nandini was sobbing hard when she felt cabirs hand on her shoulder. she turned around and wiped her tears.

while removing his hand from her shoulder by mistake cabir's hand touched her arm.

nandini quickly covered her arm with her dupatta...cabir understood she was hiding her wound. he moved her dupatta from her arm and saw it was deep red wound

n=nahi sir... theek hojayegi.
at that time manik entered and saw cabir talking to nandini. seeing manik nandini quickly covered her arm and took the files
n=sir files ready ha.. ma conference room me rakke ati hu
she left the cabin. manik looked at cabir and closed the door

c=ha ma janta hu... aur yeh bhi janta hu ke usne bhi yeh sab jaan buchke nahi kia

c=paiso keliye?? manik please grow up.. tu janta ha ma janta hu ke nandini kaisi ladki thi..are pehle din office ayi thi tune usse usi waqt appoint kiya tha.. shes matured talented and honest girl aur tu???
m=cabir.. agar woh itni hi acchi ha toa usne yeh sab kyu kia?? shadi keliye ha.
c=dekh manik, jaise tujhe dadi ki kasam ne rokh liya, wasehi nandini keliye uski bhai ka kasam.. manik dekh jo hua hum sab jante ha ke galat hua par isme nandini halat ka shikar thi... uski koi galti nahi thi..toa tu usse please...

manik sat on the chair ..running his hands through his hair repeatedly..
c=dekh bro i know you are stressed. but just take deep breath and calm down. aur uske sath acchese behave nahi karsakta but atleast dont be rude. cause tu janta ha ke agar woh udas hogi toa dadi

c=shes okay. mukti usse farm house lekar gayi ha kuch dino keliye.

nandini was hearing all these from outside of the cabin and feeling guilty. cabir came out and saw her standing
c=its okay.. sab theek hojayega

n=manik sir ke sath rehne keliye , unhe is waqt apki aur druv sir ki bohot zarurat ha..
c=tum apna dhayan rakho, aur koi pareshani ho u can call me always.

nandini came inside the cabin and saw manik resting on the chair his eyes closed. she tiptoed to her table so that he doesnt feel disturbance. nandini began to work on other papers.
after sometime manik's phone began to vibrate. nandini looked at manik who was sleeping didnt hear it. nandini moved near his table and saw it was dadi calling. she took the phone and came outside

da=nandini, beta manik kaha ha???
n=woh... rest karraheha
da=accha theek ha. sun beta manik ko boldena ke tum dono ko 7 baje ke andar andar ghar ana ha.. mane pooja rakhi ha tum dono keliye.. theek ha??

nandini came back to the cabin and kept the phone on the table. the sound made manik wake up. nandini stepped back from his table
m=what r u doing??
n=woh dadi ka call aya tha.. shamko 7 baje k andar ghar janeko kaha ha..
manik didnt say anything and left the cabin...

Farm house

Aliya was making coffee when the bell rang. It was druv

Aliya= druv tum yaha?? Come in come in

They came in the living room.

Dr=kaisi ho tum aliya?

Dr=ha wo cabir ne bola k tum yaha ho mukti ke sath socha tumse milne ajau

Druv sat on the couch. Aliya bought two coffee mugs and sat beside druv
