Chapter 4
scene 1 *-----back stage*---*----
NH3 , FAB5 , pandit and neyonika were present at the back stage..
Pandit exclaimed " wow.. That was amazing.. And thats called a brilliant performance.. Nandini today u were just fabulous.. " He approached towards her and pulled her into a side hug.. Nandini felt a bit awkward but she just smiled..
Then pandit hug Harshad as well saying " I am proud of you. U prepared a lot for this song.. And you got the sur so well.." He appreciated navya and Shahid as well for their skills.
Harshad happily hugs navya, Shahid and then Nandini.. Navya was on the top of the world.. She so wanted this day to come.. She ignored the fact that FAB5 were much better performers.. She just knew that her harshadji is happy..
All this was seen by members of FAB5.. Since NH3 was getting too much appreciation, Fab5 were a bit tensed inside but not showing it outside.. They all were giving picture-abhi-baki-hai-mere-dost look to NH3.
Suddenly manik found 5 missed calls on his mobile.. He called back.. Man on the other end of the line said " sir , wo .. Sir wo.. Kaam nhi ho paya..aapne jaisa kaha tha maine waise hi kia.. Par wo to ghar se bahar nikali hi nhi.."
Manik-" hmmm..leave it.. Jane do tum.. Ab mera kaam ho gya.. Paise mil gye hain tumhe. dubara call mat krna."
Manik to himself -" acha hi hua.."
Cabir who was standing near to him said-" kya acha hua??"
Manik -" no nothing.."
Cabir-" are manik baba ..why are you behaving so strange.. Firstly tu inke performance ko bina eyes blink kie dekhe ja rha tha. secondly you are saying acha hua.. wow.. Amazing..teri tabeeyat sahi h na. Tujhe bahut pyaar aa rha h"
Manik looked at him with a questioning face -" pyaar .. Kya keh rha h cabir.."
Cabir-" what.. Aisi baate krega to muje yahi lgega na k tujhe NH3 se pyaar ho gya h "
Manik -" ohhh.. Hmmm.. Leave it na.. I know we are far much better than these fuchchas.. M not afraid"
Cabir -" To wo arrangement tera? Kya hua uska."
Manik with a blank face -" leave it na cabir.. We will show them the power of us.. The real us.. FAB5 "
Cabir to himself-" ye manik ko hua kya h..kbhi to he so badly wanted them to lose k usne itne efforts dale and now he is saying k jane de.. Weird"
Neyonika to NH3 -" well guys u were awesome.. U actually did a superb job.. Lets see FAB5 tumhe beat kr pate hain yaa ..." . She gave a tough look to manik and smiled.
Manik was about to say something but aaliya stopped him from saying anything.. Aaliya said " there is one more band and we are next.. So guys better tune our instruments.. Lets go manik" .Manik said " aliya I have already tuned my guitar..Don't worry we are all set". He said this while looking at Harshad. Cabir, dhruv and aaliya moved from the back stage,they walked towards music room followed by mukti who was giving a stern look to Harshad.. Harshad's face was showing that he was very sure of his victory..
Manik and Nandini shared a glance.. She felt that manik's expressions were not that cold this time.. She was trying to judge his expressions ..but all in vain.. His face was too blank at that time.. He took his eyes off from her and walked away from there.
Scene 2 -*** near changing room--*--
Nandini was walking towards changing room.. She said to herself " Use kya hua..smile kaha gai uski.. Huh jealous cock.. " kadva" kahi ka... Aaiiappa thanku thanku for saving me from his evil eye..huh.."
suddenly someone dragged her into the changing room..before she could try to scream she found manik keeping his right hand on her mouth and looking into her deep eyes that were full of fear that time... His left hand was placed at the wall behind her..Manik was lost in her eyes.. They were very close.
She gained some courage and asked him " how dare u pull me like this manik.." he came out of his trance and said " hmmm maniiikkk orrr kadva.." nandini's eyes got widened listening that word from his mouth.. So he listened what I was saying ,she thought.. Manik " yesss... I overheard your private talk with ur aaiappa.."
Nandini said " so what.. Tum ho hi kadve" .. Manik " acha.. Kb taste kia tumne muje.. Muje to yaad nhi aisa kuch." With that sentence he leaned more towards her.. She was hell shocked and she pushed him back .
Nandini -" oh lgta h tum wo punch bhul gye manik..aur punch hi nhi, I think tum wo us raat wala scene bhi bhul gye ho..right.."
Manik fumed with anger and pulled her closer.. They were having a direct eye contact and the flashback of that night was shown..
Scene 3-** flashback*--* -- (A week ago)
Manik, Cabir and Dhruv were sitting at the college backyard in the evening.
Manik -" She punched me for that silly reason..kya ..kya tha wo.. Main-Nandini-murthy- I-dont-drink.." he further added " Freshers party me ..sbke samne.. Aisa kya Hua jo ..ek vodka hi to pila rha tha.."
Dhruv-" buddy.. Wo waise type ki ladki nhi h.. She is.."
Manik-" seriously Buddy.. To Mukti, aaliya kaisi type ki girls hain. Koi ladki agar peeti h to that doesn't mean.."
Dhruv -" mera wo matlab nhi tha.. Wo Nandini h.. Agar wo nahi peeti that means nahi peeti.. She always stand by her words"
Cabir -" wow.. Kya baat h Dhruv..tujhe bda pta h uske bare me.. Whats going on ..hmm.."
Dhruv -" nothing .. We hardly speak to each other.. Bas ek do baar.. Jab navya ko bachaya tha usne and wo.. Wo.. "
Manik who was silently listening to him -" kya wo buddy.. Bol na "
Dhruv said " nothing guys...usko forcefully drink pilana and cabir ka us time video bnana.. Dont u think its too much.. "
Cabir raised his eyebrows , gave a baat-kya-h look to Dhruv and said -" as if we havent done this before to anyone else..Nandini k sath Kia to.."
Manik was also eagerly looking at dhruv for his reply.
Dhruv -" wo wo..she is a nice girl bas... ". Dhruv stood up and changed the topic and said -" chalo abhi yaha se.. Mom has called me up. She has some work at home..i have to leave."
Manik -" ahh.. Buddy .. U go.. I want to be here for some time.."
Cabir - " yaaa... Dhruv tu ja.. will see u tomorrow".
Dhruv escaped from the scene,.
Manik -" Dhruv is innocent..but wo Nandini..no way.. M not gonna leave her aise.. "
Cabir -" oh to kya plan h"
Manik with a smirk -" chal m goin"
Cabir -" kaha .. Abhi kaha k u want to be here... Aur abhi...wait a moment.. U serious.. Abhi?"
Manik -" Kyu.abhi kya problem h"
Cabir -" are kyaa .. Tune plan Kr lia h kya?
Manik - " Manik Malhotra hamesha sbse aage rehta h.. And that loser just cant defeat me"
Cabir -" fine u go..raat me ill come over your place to celebrate your victory.. Lemme message everyone"
Manik -" no Cabir.. I want k wo jab kal aae to uske face se wo sara confidence gayab ho Jae.. Aur sb hamari cute-innocent-and-bold-at-the-same-time Nandu k face ko dekh k khud idea lga le."
Cabir smiled -" cool... Okaaayy then.. All the best."
scene 4 -**-- college gate-**--( flashback continued)
Nandini was about to leave the college when she found an auto standing right at the college gate.. Nandini " wow.. Aj I don't have to go to the taxi stand"
She asked the autowala something and he nodded in a yes.. All this was being watched by the none other than manik, who was all set to chase her..
Scene 5**-- on the highway ( flashback continues)
Nandini was too drained out that day ..she wanted to take a quick nap but she knew it was turning dark and it was nt safe for her.. So she tried hard to remain awake..
Manik who was chasing her in his car could clearly see that she was feeling sleepy... He smiled and said to himself " sojao nandiniii... It will make my work much easier."
Nandini was asleep till the time the auto took a turn and the autowala see her fast asleep.. Now he was driving towards the jungle..
Manik was following by his car.. But thought " naaa.. She will definitely ask me to follow the marks left by the wheels of car so as to get rid of this jungle..She is damn intelligent.. But no Nandini dear I wouldn't let you go so easily.. I would rather say k I saw you in the auto and realised k kuch galat ho rha h to i thought to follow you..i would tell u that My car broke down.. u would apologize for the punch and then I would rather leave you there until you say Manik where are you.. please come and help me.. Until you shed bucket full of tears.."
He got out of his car , forgot to lock it in hurry and started walking towards the jungle..
Scene 6*--*--- deep inside the jungle"
Autowala stopped his auto, look at our sleeping beauty nandu and thought -" paisa to mil hi gya h..us ladke ne kaha Tha k ladki ko utar k chod k bhag jana.. Par itni asaani se kaise Jane du ise..."" .
Precap - autowala's is giving a cunning smile... Manik rushing towards jungle"..
