Chapter 7..
Scene1 -*--*- manik's place -**--
Manik and cabir were sitting at the pool side with their legs in the water.
Cabir- " Manik .. Ek baat bolu."
Manik -" hmmm.. Bol.. "
Cabir -" ye jo b hua kal.. We all know it was planned by Harshad. .. But you know abhi bhi., something is missing.,"
Manik -" cabiiirrr.. Cut the crap.. What do you mean.. Saaf bol"
Cabir -" I mean..how could he manipulate with the strings of guitar in such a short spsn of time.. He was there only.. backstage pe ..hum bhi the.. M sure his whole group was involved.. Teri phoolan bhi.."
Manik -" No.. cabirr.. She is definitely not involved .. wo aisi cheap tactics.. No way.. I know her.,"
Cabir was surprised ,he asked -" oh really.. How.."
Manik recalled the moments when she hugged him in the jungle.. Her innocent face , her beautiful eyes filled with fear.. Her smile while she was singing..
But he manager to gave an excuse .. -" are I mean wo ..ye plan krna.. ye sb Uske bas ka nhi h.. Bas.."
Cabir knew that there was something that was dragging manik towards Nandini.. But he thought not to strech it much... He said -" hmmm...Is Dhruv fine now?"
Manik expressions changed.. He was tensed and angry at the same time -" yeahhh.. I mean his hand is not so fine .. Doctor said It will take time... But cabir I wont spare Harshad .. Usko aisa lesson milega k wo yaad rakhegaa.. "
Cabir -" yeaah.. We will definitely teach him a good lesson.. This time he has crossed his limits "
scene 2 -*--*-- music room-*--
FAB 4 except dhruv were already present in the music room while Nh3 made an entry...
Manik was fuming with anger when he saw Harshad who was smiling at them... He could not control and he wanted to give a solid punch to harshad. He closed his fist but cabir pulled his hand and said -" manik.. Abhi nahi.. This is just not the right time.."
Manik controlled his anger and took a few steps back and looked at Nandini.. She was not smiling like other band members. She was worried for dhruv.. Her eyes were searching him.. She had his phone number but she was not sure if she should call him.
Navya was making faces while looking at FAB5 and said -" Harshad ji hame lg rha h yaha kuch jal rha h.." Harshad didnt get what she was trying to say.. But then Nandini said " navya stop it". .
Mukti gave navya a what-so-ever look and turned to aaliya and said -" ye Raghav na.. Hume bula k khud gayab h"
Aaliya -" dont know what he is upto."
Cabir -" yaa.. Everytime he call us here , he has a stupid thing for us to do."
Raghav entered the music room and sarcastically said -" yes cabir.. Everybody on earth is stupid except you.. " Cabir made a funny face and said -" no no sir I was trying to say ..that.."
Raghav-" oh stop it cabir.. I know what were u trying to say.. Lets not make it difficult for u"
Cabir was quite by then.. Raghav -" yes guys.. So panditji has planned a two days forest camping for the winners and first runner up team.. " hearing this navya jumped off in excitement.. And said -" are waah.. Forest camp.. Hamne to bas TV me hi dekha h ..bada maza aaega.."
Nandini pulled her and said in her ear -" lgta h you didnt listen him properly.. He said winners aur runner up bhi.. FAB5 "
Navya made a face.. And said to herself -" kya mata rani.. Inhe beech me dalne ki kya zaroorat thi.. Winners to hum h na.." but then she smiled and said to nandini -" jo b h Nandu ..hamare harshadji jab tak saath hain hume kisi ka dar nhi"..
She asked Harshad -" hum jaenge na..." Initially Harshad didnt like the idea much but he thought " FAB5 k sath.. It will be fun.." and he nodded in a yes..
Nandini shook her forehead with hand and said to herself -" aaiappa kuch b ho I cant go for camping.. Is kadve k sath..never.."
Raghav -" so what say guys.. Are u in? "
Manik smiled sarcastically, came forward and said -" NO .. ..."
Nandini smiled .. Manik continued " We are not interested in this bacho wala picnic.. You can ask kids " and he pointed towards NH3..
Aaliya and mukti smirked and tried to control their laughter. On the other hand cabir said -" no.. Manik is kidding..we will definitely go".. Fab3 were shocked a bit..
Manik to cabir -" what.. Are u mad.. Tu kyaa.."
Cabir in a low voice said to manik -" Harshad... revenge... college se door.. .. Forest me.. Smjha.."
Manik liked the idea.. And he said -" fine." mukti and aaliya were still confused..
Raghav-" okay then.. You will be accompanied by two teachers.. Names not yet decided.. But most probably I and Panditji will go with u guys."
Scene 3--*--canteen-**---
Nandini -" I cant go navya.. Try to understand.. Chachi wont allow me.." Nandini gave an excuse.. Navya -" acha.. Hum chachi se baat krege".. Navya took her phone and walked away from the canteen.. Nandini tried to stop her but navya didnt listen..
Then her eyes fell on a table where Fab4 were siting.. Manik was staring at her.. She gulped saliva and thought -" kya aaiappa jitna door jana chahti hu is kadve se utna hi pas aa jati hu..not good.. "
On the other hand manik thought -" Nandini se door hi rehna hoga camp me"
Scene 4-*--** inside the forest-**
Navya was trying to walk with the help of a stick... she was panting and said - " Nandu itni mushkil se... humne chachi se... permission li.. Wo... itna pareshan thi .. kaun ja rha h..kaun nhi.. Tumhara dhyan rakhe hum.." she suddenly stopped and said -" bas aur nahi..hum nahi chal skte.."
Harshad -" what is this navya.. Abhi to we have walked a few metres.. Tum abhi se thak gai.. U were so excited camping k naam se.. Ab kya hua".
Listening to this navya threw the stick away and said -" harshadji aapki baato se hum me energy aa gai.. Hum chalege" and she held his hand and in a few minutes they were out of nandini's sight..
Fab4 except dhruv were walking ahead of everyone.. followed by Raghav sir and kamini ma'am.. Then Shahid, navya and Harshad.. Nandini was walking behind everyone... Suddenly she slipped and fell with a jerk but dhruv was there to hold her.. She saw him and a smile came to her lips.. She said -" dhruv tum yaha.. I thought tum nhi aaoge.. And how is ur hand."
She freed herself from his hold and took his hand in her.. And looked at his wound being worried.. Dhruv could not say a word.. He was smiling and just admiring her..
She asked -" does it still hurt?"
He didnt reply but was smiling like a fool.. Nandu shook him and asked -" why r u smiling? Kaha khoe hue ho".. Dhruv came out of his sub conscious state and said -" Han.. Wo.. Main.. M fine..sb aage chale gye..chalo jaldi"
Scene 4-*---* deep inside the jungle-*"
Everyone was busy preparing their tent.. Manik while breaking a wooden stick with his foot said to dhruv -" buddy its good u came.. I want u to see that jerk paying for his mistake "
Dhruv-" u sure its harshad?"
Manik laughed -" seriously.. U also know k wo planned tha..and he is the only one behind that"
Aaliya was sitting alone , lost in her thoughts.. Cabir saw her like that and asked mukti -" ye ajkal chal kya rha h.. Aaliya aur manik ka fir se.."
Mukti looked at aaliya and then at cabir and said -" cabir.. Actually I need ur help.."
Cabir -" what.. Help.. Kya hua..bta"
Mukti -" dekh first u promise u wont tell others.. Kisi ko b nhi..its about aaliya and manik"
Cabir -" u know I wont..ab bol.. Dont creat suspense..its killing"
Mukti -" wo.. U remember us din aaliya canteen se chali gai thi.. "
Cabir -" yeah.. She was upset with him.. But they have resolved it na... .. No?"
Mukti -" aaliya ne.. Usne manik ka phone check kia tha"
Cabir almost shouted -" what?"
Mukti-" shhh.. R u mad., dhere bol.. "
Cabir -" and u tell me the whole story.. Right away".
Mukti remembered the night when she was at aaliya's place.
Scene 5-*--*aaliya's place-*--*--(flashback )
Aaliya and mukti were sitting in the lawn..
Aaliya-" mukti... Wo... "
Mukti -" bol na..
Aaliya looked down..She was upset.. Mukti gave her a side hug and said " aaliya , I know tu manik ko leke tensed h.. But relax yaar..these days he is not giving you time but he will soon come around.., dekhna."
Aaliya still looked tensed -" Mukti.. Actually.. Wo maine manik ka phone .. Maine uska phone check kia tha aj... music room me.."
Mukti -" What... Wait.. Wait a second.. You mean. ... As in tujhe... U doubt him.. " She took a pause.. And then looked down.. And then said -" kya baat h aaliya.. jo b h bol..please."
Aaliyaa-" mukti.. I saw few outgoing calls from his cell to..."... pause... "to that bloody Nandini... And that too ..." aaliya started crying.. Mukti stood up and tried to calm her down -" hey aaliyaa.. dont cry.. Kya hua.. Bol"
Aaliya stood up and angrily said -" and that too at that time jab main use call kr rhi thi.. usne kaha his car broke down..his cell battery drained.. Then how could he call her..there were calls between 9 pm to 3 am.. And why., why did he call her that time"
Mukti -" aaliya,, relax relax,, dekh I will talk to him.. I am sure there must be some reason.. Har koi Harshad nahi hota.. He just cant cheat on you..." .
Mukti bang her head with her cell phone and said" Ahhh... What m I thinking... Cheating is not the right word for you guys.. You are just made for each other".. She quickly gave a warm hug to aaliyaa.
Aaliya - " mukti.. You wont tell this to anyone.. I will talk to manik by myself.. " and with this aaliya broke the hug,. Mukti -" u sure". Aaliya nodded -" yes.,".
Scene 6 - jungle*( flashback over)
Cabir -" and then"
Mukti-" I dont know.. She didnt tell anything., but I guess manik somehow came to know that she checked his mobile ... Aur ... "
Cabir -" aur kya.. "
Mukti -"I think... they broke up"
Cabir-" what? Are u mad". He pointed his hand and showed it to mukti and said -"look at them. How is it possibbb" .. He stopped when he saw manik and aaliya avoiding each other.. He noticed that they were behaving different.. He sat on a rock lying near by.. And said -" u r right.. Shit.. Ye kab hua.. Kehne ko we r so true friends and ... Yaar mukti... U should have told me earlier.."
Mukti -" cabir .. Aaliya b meri friend h.. She told me not to tell this to anyone.. But we should do something to bring them close.. No?"
Cabir -" of course.. We should.. Even abhi aj hi kuch plan krta hu.. " . They looked at one another and said it together - "mission patch up is on" and show thumbs up to each other..
