His body felt a rush of emotions. He tried his best not to break down in front of both of them. He drank in all his pain and didn't let even a single sigh escape his mouth. She stared at him with curious eyes.
You know the kind of pain when someone tears of your skin with a knife? The pain you experience when someone splits open your heart, the pain you experience when your body entire stops functioning, The pain that completely shuts you down, the pain that stops your heartbeat,
He felt his heart crumble, his skin burn, his head spin. Yes it hurts, the magnitude of hurt? well pain doesn't have a magnitude, it just comes and stays does'nt go very easily. Doesn't leave sometimes.
Love maybe a beautiful thing, but the pain it brings to see your loved one in pain is vast.
Manik was again hurt today by the person whom he loved so much, the one he adored and one he could lay down his life for! His brother like one despised him.. He broke all ties with him.. He is scared now that he will never come back to his life. In short, it seemed to him that he was orphaned once again... and this time its more painful.
They stood there facing each other. They spent moments of silence trying to take away the pain of the other. Moments which are the best spent in a relationship. Moments where so much spoken through the eyes. Moments where words, expressions aren't a priority.
To add to his pain, he is feeling if his words to Dhruv hurt Nandini again? ..and Nandu feeling if what she shared with Dhruv about Manik's sacrifice going to widen their gap already in place.š

They will not be angry with each other for what they did, probably during the first break up when they were just manik and nandini but now they are MANAN.
Both wanted to give something to the other that would take away the pain that they are enduring currently. Both wanted to give hope that together they would be able to alleviate each other's pain..they no more need any extra intervention to fulfill their life as it's already complete because of their love to each other.
A couple who started their journey with so much hatred towards each other have come this far in their relationship, stands now on a solid foundation of love, trust and that something extra where they complete each other by just being there in each others life. If that is not love, then what is? And also who needs cliched "I love you" when their every action, every gesture screams it every day how much they are in love.
Both together are complete.
