And talking about Nandini...I discussed this thing on Niti's AT about how Nandu was more or less pressurized into taking up music when she stubbornly maintained that she wanted to concentrate in science.

Rishav's treatment came in between and she had to stick to S.P.A.C.E despite being bullied and all.

Uss waqt se it was Manik who pretty much took control of Nandu's life and vice-versa. He became an overwhelming force in her life and she became the object of her obsession.

Then this very obsession was used against Manik by Harshad and he made Nandini a pawn in his game by announcing her as one of NH3's members. But still, at least he made SOME contribution towards Nandu's musical career which again was ruined by Manik.

Nandu never took music seriously after that! Even when the princi asked her to attend TK's workshop, she was highly reluctant. Now even TK has turned into a creep!

You see, how she is functioning? It's either Manik or Fab 5 or Navya- ismein Nandini kahaan hain??? Where is her individuality boss?

So in order to attain that, she needs a BREAK! A GOOD ONE AT THAT.

Going to disagree here , Shelly.

Nandini was ALWAYS aimless, that is her character trait. She never wanted science for herself because that was what she thought will make her dad proud. Earlier episodes her Grandma made it clear to her that her heart is not into it and she should listen to her heart - which was always music. She is not a passionate person per se and that is why Manik gets her , gives her challenges to fight to make her passionate about her beliefs.

Sorry , Harshad was an Ass , because he used, manipulated Nandini and her music. It did no service to her, watch how he treats her during Musicana and that is exactly what Pandit is doing with Nandini right now.Different forms of abuse.

Yes, Manik is the only one who actually got her music abilities. He trusts her judgement about it , doesn't force it down on her.

Nandini is unaware of her own musical abilities , her own talent.

She has always been someone who lived for others , like her goals were about her parents ,now-for Ams and Manik.

Yes she hasn;t ever thought about herself which is what I hoped her post concert track should be.Because it's a chracter flaw they have highlighted since day 1.

Just because she sprouts of random 5th class science facts doesn't mean she is interested in it.And by taking her to a science college you are breaking the boundaries of KY2 world.

Why Nandini, has Manik lived for himself? It's similar to Nandini, he lives for his friends or her. Where is his individuality? Yes he is good at music, because that was how the show started. But has he ever thought about it for himself- NO.

The show's trope is Manik-Nandini cannot be separated. They help each other grow and support each other. Today when she is being the one backing away, Manik could see that she is not only giving up a fight but herself too. It's about Nandini's own satisfaction- he by pushing her there, gave her the chance to not shortchange herself.

These challenges were never to test her but to keep her closer and to get the over the mutual hurt. She took it seriously and has pined her everything on it , hence now he is trapped and trying to protect her hope and this concert because she will break. He wants to keep her faith in things like love, hope intact.

Lets not talk about careers or music , this show has never been about it. it's a growing up journey. Post Pandit , Nandini will need to reflect on what she wants. And can music heal her from Pandit's scars.

I'm not comparing Manik here with Nandini...I've always maintained that he too lives for his friends and doesn't think much about himself. Hell, I even wanted him to YELL at Fab 5 and ask them to mind their own business and deal with their own shit instead of being the Papa-Bear...even made a post regarding the same.

You know me better than to think I'll take sides when it comes to MaNan.

Now after I typed this post, I get people making theories of Manik's DEATH...you tell me HOW do I keep sane?

I have been trying to make people think positively since morning and now, all this negativity is seriously GETTING TO ME!
