Chapter 10
Nandini comes down and sees Manik sleeping on the sofa.
She first thinks of waking up but then she thinks that he mist have slept late and in the morning he was here.
She goes up and sleeps.
Manik wakes up after sometime and sees the time its already noon and he suddenly remembers that he has to go meet his father. He gets up.
Mrs. Murthy : wait. I want to talk to you about something
Manik : Aunty actually I need to go. I have to meet dad n I'm already late.
Mrs. Murthy hugs Manik.
Manik : aunty are u alright?
Mrs. Murthy : I'm fine. And soon you will know why I hugged you.
Manik smiles : okay. Now bye aunty will come here again at eve to see nandu. By the way nandu , how is she?
Mrs. Murthy : she is fine she came here to see you but you were sleeping so she didn't wake u up.
Manik sadly : okay. Bye
Mrs. Murthy : bye
Manik leaves and Mrs.murthy goes to check nandu. Nandini is resting and hears her mom's foot steps and gets up.
Nandini : maa
Mrs. Murthy : how are you?
Nandini : I'm fine.
Her mom comes and sits with her.
Mrs. Murthy : nandini I wanted to know something from you.
Nandini : ya mom say what you wanna ask.

Manik is with his dad in the hotel room.
Manik : sorry dad I got late actually voh nandini she fainted so I was there.
Mr. Malhotra : about that did you tell nandini that you love her?
Manik shocked : dad! How do you..
Mr. Malhotra : how do I know? Have seen ur face she you are around her? And by the way let me remind you baap noon me tumhara.
Manik smiles : dad actually I haven't told her about my feeling yet but for sure soon I will.
Mr. Malhotra : why soon why not now?
Manik : you no dad how she hates commitments. And now if I propose to her or tell her I love u she'll again faint.
Both father and son laughs.

Mrs. Murthy : what do you think of Manik?
Nandini shocked : what mom he is... He is my friend.
Mrs. Murthy : ohh plz... Stop lying nandini. I know I'm your mother but I'm also your friend so do not hesitate to speak to me.
Nandini smiles : mom I know that. But.
Mrs. Murthy : no but just tell me what is up with you n Manik?
Nandini speedly looking at the floor : mom I love him
Mrs. Murthy normally : I know. That you love him and I even know that he loves you.
Nandini shocked : mom? How do.. How do you know about him loving me? how are you so sure? He hasn't even told m anything about it.
Mrs. Murthy : its clear I can see in his eyes. The way he reacted when you fainted I can surely say that he is in love with u.
Nandini blushes.
Mrs. Murthy : do you really love him?
Nandini again blushes : ya mom. Don't know how did that happen but ya I really love him.
Mrs. Murthy smiles and hugs nandu.
Nandu : you know mom before Manik happened. I was afraid of the word "I love you". And even commitments but now I'm not.
Mrs. Murthy smiles : that's good.

Manik and his dad are laughing and talking.
And suddenly Mr. Malhotra's phone starts ringing. He picks the call talk and keeps.
Manik : what's wrong dad?
Mr. Malhotra : there is an urgent meeting I have to go for. Sorry beta
Manik sadly : its okay dad.
Mr. Malhotra leaves so does Manik.
