Actress Shubhangi Atre best known for her role as Angoori Bhabi in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai,opens up about the challenges of managing time in today’s fast-paced world. “Time management has definitely become more challenging these days,” she says. “With so many responsibilities—shoots, personal commitments, and household work—it can feel overwhelming. On the set of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, we sometimes shoot for long hours with very little break. Balancing all of this on my own has taught me to plan carefully and make every minute count.”

When asked about people in the entertainment industry often complaining about a lack of time, Shubhangi smiles and adds, “People often think acting is just fun and glamorous, but the reality is very different. A typical day on Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai is packed with scenes, rehearsals and also in life too as I stay here alone I have to manage all of this single-handedly, and yes, it feels like time is never enough. But I believe that if you stay organized and focus on priorities, you can achieve a lot even with a busy schedule.”

Speaking about how technology has affected personal time, she admits, “Even on my off days, I often get messages from the team or updates on social media. It’s hard to truly relax. Technology is useful, but it can also take away your peace of mind.” She adds thoughtfully, “I make it a point to switch off for a few hours, do something I enjoy, or simply rest—it’s important for mental health, especially when you are managing everything alone.”

Shubhangi also shares her time management strategies. “I always set small goals for the day, whether it’s completing a scene or finishing a personal task. It keeps me on track,” she says. “I also group similar tasks together, like answering emails or going through scripts in one go. It helps save energy and keeps me focused, particularly during intense shooting days of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai,” she adds.

Reflecting on social media, she says, “Life was definitely simpler before social media. We spent more time talking to people, reading, or enjoying little moments. Social media is good for staying connected, but it can also distract you constantly. I try to step back, enjoy real-life moments, and focus on myself and my work—it makes life feel more balanced and peaceful.”
