Chapter 11
Manik goes to his home so that he can freshen up and go meet Nandini.
He lays on his bed to relax for a while in this hefty day. Suddenly his phone starts ringing. He sees that its Nandini and picks the call as if he was waiting for her call.
Manik : hello Nandini.
Nandini stays silent.
Manik : what's wrong? Why aren't you replying?
Nandini sadly : manik. She cuts the phone.
Manik gets tensed and runs out of the house and drives to nandu's house.
While driving he tries to call her but she doesn't pick his phone.
Manik : why is she so complicated?
He reaches her house and enters in it is dark. He runs up to her room shouting her name.
He enters her room and sees her Nandini standing near the window.
Manik : Nandini?
He goes and hugs here tight and breaks the hug. He checks about what is wrong with her.
Manik : Nandini why aren't you speaking? Say something what is wrong with you?
And I got a call from u and all I could hear was my name.
Nandini still stays silent and hugs him tight
Nandini : Manik voh mom.
Manik : what happen to mom?
Nandini : she knows... She knows everything about us.
Manik shocked : what!!
Nandini bursts out and laugh.
Manik angrily : seriously nandu? That was hell for me.
He hugs nandini and gets relaxed.
Nandini : sorry. I really didn't wanted to scare you but it mom's idea.
Manik : seriously?
Mrs. Murthy : yes she is right.
Manik breaks the hug.
Manik shyly : aunty.
Mrs. Murthy : now you don't need to lie to me I know everything.
Manik confused : how?
Mrs. Murthy : have you seen your face when you are around her!
Manik and nandini starts blushing.
Mrs. Murthy : aww.. I think I'm disturbing you.
Nandu and Manik shocked, together : no!
Mrs. Murthy smiles and leaves.
Manik gets a lill angry.
Manik : so now you even Gonna play pranks with me?? I mean seriously that was too much!
Manik hugs her and cries out.
Nandini : Manik I didn't mean to scare you but mom told me to do so I did.
Manik still crying : promise me you won't so anything like that kabhi bhi nhi!!!!
Nandini : okay Manik I won't Nandini promise!
Manik hugs her tight!
Nandini : I'm really sorry Manik. Please don't cry.
Manik stops crying and clears his face. He then suddenly breaks the hug.
Manik : are you okay? Voh subhe you fainted. Did it happen before?
Nandini : Manik that's normal if I don't eat properly I will obviously faint.
Manik : promise me you will take care of yourself.
Nandini : I promise. And if I break it you will always be there.
Manik smiles.
Nandini : waise Manik how was your meeting with your dad.
Manik suddenly stops smiling.
Manik : he is still busy. As always.
Nandini : ohh. I'm still here.
Manik suddenly sits on his knees. And smiles at Nandini.
Nandini : Manik what are you doing?
Manik : shh. Now I will speak and you will listen and answer in yes or no.
Nandini : okay.
Manik : Ms. Nandini murthy would you like to go on a date with me tonight?
Nandini blushes : yes Manik Malhotra I will.
Manik stands and starts kissing her slowly.
Nandini breaks the kiss.
Nandini : but Manik what if mom won't let us go?
Manik okay come with me.
They go to her mom's room.
Manik : Mrs. Murthy I would like to take your daughter on a date tonight.
Nandini is shocked.
Manik : would you please give us permission?
Mrs. Murthy smiles at Manik : Manik you already know my answer.. Remember?
Manik then remembers Mrs. Murthy hugging him. Manik smiles and goes And hugs her.
Manik : thank you so much.
Mrs. Murthy : enjoy yourselves. Bye
Nandini stands there confused.
Manik : c'mon I'll tell you everything.
They leave the room and are in the corridor.
Manik : I'm so happy I can't believe I'm gonna go on a date with u at last.
Nandini smiles : but Manik what was that mom was saying you to remember?
Manik : first you go and get ready I'll pick you up in an hour. I'll tell you about that at the date.
Nandini pecks on his lips : okay.
Manik smiles and they leave.
