CHAPTER 4
In the morning as usual Nandini sleeps till late. It is already 10.
Manik enters into nandini's house the made tells Manik that Nandini is still sleeping up in her room.
Manik goes to her room.
There he sees nandini sleeping like a sweet little baby her long silky hairs open and down. Her blue teddy bear which she always hugs and sleep is in her arms.
Manik smiles and gets up and moves the curtains the bright sunshine falls on her face. Her face glows and she frowns her eyebrows Manik smiles and goes near her.
She opens her eyes and smiles at him
Nandini : good morning.
Manik happily with a big smile on his face : good morning sleeping beauty.chalo get up we will have breakfast
And then we even have to practice .
Nandini : haan.
Manik : I'm waiting for u down.
Nandini : Manik yesterday night my lappy got hang so can u just stay and check ?
Manik : okay sure.
Nandini : okay I'll just get a bath and come.
Manik : okay.
Manik was seeing what was wrong with the laptop and suddenly Nandini came out of the bathroom running and shouting in her towel.
Manik was shocked to her like that but got up and went to help her.
Manik : what's wrong?
Nandini : cockroach!!
Manik : kaha?
Nandini : in the bath room. Come I'll show u she takes his hand in her hand n takes him in the bathroom see voh raha.
She turns to call Manik and sees that Manik looking at their hands.
Nandini leaves his hand : Manik see its there.
Manik some how manages to put the cockroach out of the bathroom.
Manik : see gaya now chill and take a bath.
Nandini blushing : thanks.
Manik goes out and sees what was wrong with the laptop.
Nandini comes out with her wet long hair down till her waist and still rapped in her towel.
Manik was not able to move his eyes of her.
Manik : beautiful.
Nandini blushes and turns around.
Nandini : I thought u went down.
Manik : ya I will go down.
Nandini : no problem sit I'll change in the bathroom.
Manik keeps on smiling and keeps the laptop aside.
Nandini comes out f the bathroom in a beautiful blue one piece which was matching with manik's blazer.
Nandini blushing : let's go down and have breakfast.
Manik : sure let's go.
Both come down and have breakfast.
They go to nandini's music room.
Manik : let's start.
Nandini : yea sure.
They start to practice they sing the song beautifully looking into each other's eyes.
The song ends but they have a eye lock.
Nandini breaks the eye lock.
Nandini : wow Manik I think we are perfect at this song.
Manik : yea we are perfect if we sing together.
Nandini blushes and Manik sees it.
Manik naughtily : so yesterday you told me u wanted to talk to me about something.
Nandini blushing : yes.
Manik blushing : so tell me.
They look at each other.
Nandini innocently : I wanted to know that whether you like me or not?
Manik smiles : I wanted to ask if you like me or not? (He starts walking towards Nandini)
Nandini : I asked first (she starts moving backwards towards the door)
Manik : but I want to know first.
Nandini : that's cheating Manik Malhotra. (She turns and runs out)
Manik : Nandini (he runs behind her)
Nadini slips and falls and gets hurt on her forehead.
Manik shouts her name and runs towards her.
As blood flows from her head tears flow from manik's eyes.
Nandini was in pain so was Manik , seeing her injury.
Nandini : Manik why are u crying its just a little wound it will disappear in some time.
Manik crying : I promise you Nandini this will never happen again. I will never let you fall down. And I will never hurt u! I will always protect u.
Nandini hugs manik seeing this much love in his eyes. Tears flow down from Nandini's eyes.
Manik : you don't cry please.
Manik lifts her up in his arms and takes her to her room. He keeps her in the bed
Manik : where is the first aid box?
Nandini : in that drawer (she points)
Manik goes and gets the first aid box. He was not able to stop his tears. He cleared the wound and band -aided it. Nandini came close to his face and kissed his eyes
Nandini softly : stop crying please.
Manik huged her
Nandini thinks : I love you manik.
Manik in pain hugs her tight.
Manik thinks : I love you more.
They talk heart to heart.
Nandini moving her hand points Manik to sit beside her on the bed.
Manik sits and nandini keeps her head in his lap and lays.
Nandini smiles.
Manik keeps her head on the pilow and lays beside her hugging her belly.
They sleep feeling relaxed in each other's arms.
