Yep, he will. He is letting his own hatred cloud his judgement. He is so lucky that Nandini is still there for him, any other girl would have given up.

Poor bacchii still trusts him, and yet he got her into trouble.

What Karma is was for him to see that the Pandit grabbed Nandini instead of him.

I totally agree with you.
Personally I dint like the episode at all. Well just once she dint trust him and thought that his mother and cabir must be right because she knows he loves her. She has always trusted him no matter what. I want Manik to realise this now.
One advice for Nandu: Leave the college and disappear somewhere.
