it may be spontaneous... not necessarily due to love... but may be due to some other strong emotion even caused by a sick mind

but I get our expectators... 2 strong emotions... she having love in trouble ..he with stronger "hate to love".. it's natural to fail to keep your heads straight... and to shock the other and even self with you are capable of something like that...
