Recap: Pandit ji inviting Fab 5 to a program
The next day Fab 5 practiced their song till evening 5 n decided to go to the program from there itself.
They reached the program venue 5 mins earlier just to be safe. But what they saw there left them shocking. The program is National Classical Music Summit. They cant believe that pandit ji wanted them to see a classical program. its never their forte n will never be. They dont even want to get down from the car. They thought of coming up with a reason to escape from there. Even cabir was also taken aback. But to increase their irritation Pandit ji n Mr Khurana saw them when they are passing by. pandit ji was surprised to see them n he said" so at last u came. I never thought u would come here. program will start in 10 mins. I want u all to go n sit inside the auditorium." Manik couldnt take this ranting. he simply said" we wont n we r not interested. thank u." pandit ji just gave a smile n said "I told u before only manik that if u dont listen to my words u will regret for sure. Ok then sit for 15mins. once the program starts u can walk away. For ur album u can do that much right..??" Everyone gave an accepting nod n manik he finally said yes.
They went into the audit n sat in one of the last rows where there is an easy access to escape. fab4 were in their usual chatting but manik was lost in his world. This has become his usual now a days so remaining members let him alone. He was sitting in the corner n lost in nandinis thoughts. But he could feel tension in the air. His heart beat is increasing. He couldnt understand the feeling. But the 10mins of waiting for the program to start gave him a feeling that he waited for 10 yrs.. Finally anchor started the program by inviting the chief guests to light the lamp. Its a national program so many big music directors came for the program.
After the inauguaration, anchor announced "Welcome, first event in todays program is a Classical song on veena by Miss Nandini Murthy, from space academy." Maniks heart stopped, he was not in his senses. He thought he heard it wrong. He checked his friends. They had the same expression of shock on their faces. Everyone looked at each other confused. They heard loud claps n surprised to see their principal jumping in his seat in the front row. amidst all the claps Nandini Murthy walked onto the stage like a divine goddess in a traditional kanchipuram half saree. she got settled before the veena saying namaste to everyone. Manik couldnt believe his eyes. She was there right infront of him. Its not his imagination. Till then he didnt know he missed her so much that his heart began to ache seeing her.
Slowly claps stopped and nandini started singing a song on lord vinayaka while playing veena. He heard her voice after so many days. There is a strange feel in her voice. Its the same voice he loved. But it became so mature, so beautiful that it gave lot of peace to his soul. A lot has changed that is clearly evident in her voice. He couldnt understand the lyrics but he could feel her passion in her singing n her veena is adding flavour to the magic. just in a split second first song is completed and complete auditorium was filled with applauses. He craved for her voice. He wanted to hear more. As if she read his mind she started her next song. Its on lord Krishna. that was the best melody he has ever heard. she was so divine on the stage. her purity reflected in her voice. Her enchantment filled the entire audit. He felt as if she was calling him n remembering him. Whole song was with deep words n breathless gamakas that he couldnt ever understand but her voice made him go crazy.
Breaking his trance she completed the song. Audience gave her a standing ovation. Fab 5 clapped the loudest. Nandini got up took a bow and went into the back stage. Manik couldnt stop. He ran outside n ran towards the backstage. He searched for her every where. At last he spotted her talking with some elderly people. Pandit ji is also with her. When he was about to go towards her he saw pandit ji hugging her sideways. she didnt fidge but she was happily smilling. He stopped in his steps. How dare he touch nandini. Anger started filling up. He wanted to bash him. When he was about to barge towards them a pair of hands stopped him n dragged him outside. He tried to set him loose but those hands didnt give up. he was dragged outside into the garden.
When they were outside he saw that those hands belong to a lady may be in her middle twenties. That was the first time he has ever seen her. but he was not interested in knowing her even.He just dont want to miss nandini now. what if he couldnt see her ever again. he has to stop her. these are the only thoughts in his minds. he tried to free himself n go back to backstage. giving up the lady said."Nandini wont go anywhere. Could you please stop Mr Monster manik. I dont have enough strength to stop you." Those words made him stop. He was surprised n thought " she knows my name that too monster name only nandini would call me like that.. How does she know me n nandini..?" his thoughts were interupted by her words. "hi., im swathi. U dont know me. but i know u n nandini very well. U cant meet her now. Its not time yet. but U will meet her soon just bare ur feelings for a while."
manik couldnt understand her words. but now that he has seen nandini he has to meet her n ask her so many questions about where was she all these days, how could she leave him for so many days, and a lot more.. so he ignored the ladys words n started going. then swathi stoped him again n told " Nandini was in mumbai only all these days. But if u want to know why she didnt meet u n why she didnt try to contact u, you can ask me. I ll answer all ur questions but i ll not allow u to meet nandini. not now."
Manik couldnt believe what he just heard. she was so close to him but she avoided him..??? what could be the reason..?? n who is this swathi..?? to know the real reason why nandini walked away on that day stay tuned for the next update..đđ
