And all those articles used to say that Manan's chemistry is loved because of the plenty of the physical romantic scenes, of course besides giving the credit to actor's performances too. But the stress on physical..makes one feel their ignorance of the emotional and soulful connect that Manan have with the viewers. Of course the intimacy is cherished, but if it was just a physical romantic scene that fans were looking for then the numerous scenes in all other shows would have taken the cake away. I guess the deep characterisation of the duo and their unique conversations, which brings out their emotional/mental chemistry were missed out as the reason for the existence of this profound and constant love for Manan's chemistry. their relationship and them.

The less said about GK shows, the better. I have grown up watching one of them and I was done with them once and for all!

I'm not saying that KY2 has been devoid of the pushing-pulling, manhandling et al. But it all stopped after a while. And here, Manik's attitude towards Nandini has been explained very well. Manik is a sexual/physical man. As Dhruv once pointed out that he's not too good with handling emotions in the right manner, Manik uses the physicality to display his emotions.

And it's not just Nandu, remember the way he used to interact with Dhruv?

GK's heroes looked like deprived animals- to put it POLITELY. -_____-

Celebration! - I think that's really the most apt word for my joyous state right now

U know the whole - 'i'll choose my friends, bcoz i have to protect them like u protect', followed by the hug - is definitely the highlight of this episode...or may be i should say highlight for he whole week ...i'll come back to this later...but what surprised me most is locking him up in a different building(mind u, guy still doesn't know that! )...and the gal...that bachi did it! i'm unable to get over this little fact

And they convo...it is one of their best till date...short, to the point and most of all - REAL

her actual insecurity was not that he would go to some other girl...her worry was never abt manik-soha...she knows he likes her (Nandini) and only her. She didn't want them to move forward only bcoz it's unfair to soha...she actually did all this to stop him doing something stupid

so back to her actual insecurity...it's not another gal but his friends, who had always been his priority and will always be his priority...so, where would she stand in all this?

I was really not expecting such a genuine reason for her pushing him away

He gives an even more genuine answer..he would choose his friends... their ability to talk to genuinely amazed me, more than ever

they always had very convos...but usually on tv or movies, unless u want to show a girl on little negative side, they never show that she is insecure of his friends (irrespective of gender) ...the girl usually is a mahaan, esp if the guy is in something like a band...and the guy too...he's supposed to react to such a confrontation in one of the ways - 'how dare u to give up on my friends for u?' or 'ofcourse, i'll choose u, baby' kind...but no...this guy doesn't do that...he says he'll choose his friends to protect...like she protects him...no macho-giri here...all truth...pour your soul out...so simply..so easily

one might whom does he need protection from...it's simple - it's from himself...the stubborn and monster Manik can be destrutive, not to ppl around him, but to himself too...his hand is a physical example in itself

Feeling so relived after typing all this

P.S: I have doubt...all the decoration in the house - did Nandini really do it? It felt like she had no clue abt it...isn't it abhimanyu's doing?
