I liked and loved Manik today- he cannot be anything if not a self-destructing prick for his friends- that is what appealed to her first too, when she saw him nurturing Dhruv during her spot days. She wondered about him, and then she saw it all. Him fighting , struggling to hold himself for his friends- she became his support. But then somewhere he just was all hers, until he ripped her away for his friendship.
She doesn't need justification for his actions , because she understands it all. But she was vulnerable, fearful of a life without him. What if he decides to leave again, will she be able to survive?
And today- Manik told her- yes he will be with his friends to protect them just like she will protect him. She is his Star.
STOP- HOLD THE THOUGHT- A desi tv guy acknowledging that his lady love be the real boss, the hero of their story- thats how you show finger to the cliches.

Nandini is all proper , ordered and very secure, that has been her mask , she wore it because of all the responsibilities , yet there is a child too that always believed in true love and her glowing fireflies. Which is why when Manik pushed , she fought, gave up her pretense just like he did. The mud fight, The crazy her during the drunk night , she is the girl who is not afraid of the dark but is scared of a rat.
He is all ego , invincible for the world but before her he never had qualms admitting his flaws, his vulnerabilities because he trusted her .

Her jealousy , scratch that possessiveness about him makes sense. Her biggest fear is not having him in her life, which is why Soha's arrival pushed her to be frantic , erratic and desperate for him , because he is all hers. Fire be damned- she needs his hugs.

She gets him , so when he tells her to be his star- the one he will always cherish, love and long for - she knew ,she will fight for them , for him. He gave her the courage to battle her fear and shine on.

Ah , Shells , having you back is just the cherry on the cake.

Manik IS a prick- hell, the BIGGEST one I've ever seen on telly! But boy, IS HE LOVABLE! The most, idiotic, stubborn-muleish, honest, dumb, arrogant, horny, full of love Baba! 🤗 🤗

No wonder he brings out the maternal instincts in us rather than the raging hormones- he's someone you'd want to smack one moment and fiercely protect the other!

Shells 🤗

The one confession which we had been waiting for another is love one of course but that it will take some time because it is Manik we are talking about 😆

He finally gave her the confirmation she needed, that she holds importance in his life and what more to say when he has said the biggest thing "You protect me"

Manik Malhotra the Messiah for others needs one for himself because in the end he is a human being with his flaws and limitations and in this case darkness

"who could ever love a beast"? Well this innocent, simple girl filled with light and happiness has already pierced his world of darkness "you are my shining star" "jab tumhare sath hota hu toh andhere se dar nahi lagta" she is the only one who knows about his weakness and vulnerabilitiles and yet does not judge him

"I love fireflies they are so tiny yet they fight the darkness" This is so her, fighting and protecting him or his "star" "lucky charm"

And we got the perfect hug! Solace, comfort happiness and Nandinis "Sssh" it just had everything

And finally she asked him the question which we all had wanted to "Will he again choose his friends over her" he will and he was honest about it rather than making false promises but he also made it clear that he needs her too because without her he will again be pushed into that dark sphere!

heheh your topics have become like ky2 story so far, only once a week😆 i have told you how big a fan of your writing and unfortunately i do know , it's good to hope(shelly's topic today ), but it's the waiting that spoils it.😆

Remember the epic lines- "A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended."

You aren't a man if you think belittling your woman is 'cool'. Treat her as she deserves to be treated, acknowledge her abilities and her value in your life and see the world looking up to you, considering you as a 'Hero'.

GKs show always have pushing, shovin, pulling , red marks and of course angry young men

But KYY has this female lead who punches the male lead twice, resuces him, takes him to the hospital and then finally locks him up

Nandini is love thats why because she is hatke and of course baby taylor plays it with perfection ❤️

Bas ab hero ko uthana bacha hai which is a bit difficult so lets cut that off 😆

So to put it in simple words, their problem was: Unanswered questions, misunderstandings, lack of communication/miscommunication

And the resolution was also simple: Clear Communication, Understanding.

That's where the problems originate from in every relationship in the world-Miscomunication or the lack of it.

Too tired to type a lamba-chaura reply to your equally lamba-chaura comment, so I'm choosing to reply to this. 😆 😳

The less said about GK shows, the better. I have grown up watching one of them and I was done with them once and for all!

I'm not saying that KY2 has been devoid of the pushing-pulling, manhandling et al. But it all stopped after a while. And here, Manik's attitude towards Nandini has been explained very well. Manik is a sexual/physical man. As Dhruv once pointed out that he's not too good with handling emotions in the right manner, Manik uses the physicality to display his emotions.

And it's not just Nandu, remember the way he used to interact with Dhruv?

GK's heroes looked like deprived animals- to put it POLITELY. -_____-
