I bloody loved it how he admitted that he needed protection from this tiny child-woman who punched him in front of everyone!

can you please tell me when these two scenes happened??i can't remember actually.anyway coming to your post i loved it.you said the most perfect things which really are meant for them.

I luuurve this post!

U just summarised all that is going on in my mind as well.

I loved the fact that there were no elaborate confessions of undying love and tearjerking promises.

It was simple, sweet and so MaNan...they are 2 ppl discovering the joys of first love, embarking on a journey together which would eventually lead to more...it was full of silent promises and overwhelming enchantment.

There were no roses, balloons, hearts, rings,etc but two people in love talking it out, finding a way together through all their issues and reaching a common consensus. It was about the promise of a new journey, the acceptance of their still unnamed bond, the understanding of each other and where their insecurities are coming from...it was all so pure, unassuming and free of any grand gestures.

I loved how they finally addressed the elephant in the room, how Manik accepted that he would choose his friends over her coz he is their protector just like she is for him...he didn't give her any false expectations and neither did she hold back in voicing out her insecurities.

And when they finally hugged, it was them accepting each other for who they are, having understood each others'limitations and intentions behind their actions and yet willing to take that final step coz they finally know that they will regret not taking that chance and that try as they might, they cannot and will not be able to stay apart. That was them accepting that truth and their place in the other's life and though unsaid, silently agreeing to embark on a new journey of togetherness.

I liked and loved Manik today- he cannot be anything if not a self-destructing prick for his friends- that is what appealed to her first too, when she saw him nurturing Dhruv during her spot days. She wondered about him, and then she saw it all. Him fighting , struggling to hold himself for his friends- she became his support. But then somewhere he just was all hers, until he ripped her away for his friendship.

She doesn't need justification for his actions , because she understands it all. But she was vulnerable, fearful of a life without him. What if he decides to leave again, will she be able to survive?

And today- Manik told her- yes he will be with his friends to protect them just like she will protect him. She is his Star.

STOP- HOLD THE THOUGHT- A desi tv guy acknowledging that his lady love be the real boss, the hero of their story- thats how you show finger to the cliches.

Nandini is all proper , ordered and very secure, that has been her mask , she wore it because of all the responsibilities , yet there is a child too that always believed in true love and her glowing fireflies. Which is why when Manik pushed , she fought, gave up her pretense just like he did. The mud fight, The crazy her during the drunk night , she is the girl who is not afraid of the dark but is scared of a rat.

He is all ego , invincible for the world but before her he never had qualms admitting his flaws, his vulnerabilities because he trusted her .

Her jealousy , scratch that possessiveness about him makes sense. Her biggest fear is not having him in her life, which is why Soha's arrival pushed her to be frantic , erratic and desperate for him , because he is all hers. Fire be damned- she needs his hugs.

She gets him , so when he tells her to be his star- the one he will always cherish, love and long for - she knew ,she will fight for them , for him. He gave her the courage to battle her fear and shine on.

Ah , Shells , having you back is just the cherry on the cake.

I have ALWAYS loved this abt Manik. Guy has NO qualms laying his pheelz bare Nandu ke aagay ... and none whatsoever about being 'protected' by a 22 whoz like half his size. Cuz she knows she has enough love & courage in her heart to cover for all of his share of insecurities as well as her own. No faltu ka 'Mardangi pe aanch'. Boy is ... REAL.

She doesn't need to be no WP Xena to 'protect' him . That inherent need to care for and look after her loved ones ... and fiercely protect them if need be ...Manik is well aware of it .. and knows hez covered. .. and she is his insurance.

This episode was literally everything I wanted. So I mean what I even say after that?

They laid themselves bare, stripped to their very core. It was just two people having an honest conversation. He asked her to tell him why. And she did.

He needs her. The big bad monster needs his star. That was all she needed to hear.

The hug. The twirl. The relief. Poignant. Sweet. Swoon worthy.

Yes today I think we all found our solace in that hug. I am just in love with that conversation, Manik'e eyes, his vulnerability "I didn't leave you, you left me" Yes it is true, he didn't leave her, he was still with her after he broke her, he still made sure if she is okay.

And finally, nandini tod him her real fears " You will leave me again" and yes Manik will not lie, he told the truth but he also told her how much he worships her, if this is not love then what is? But of course, he can't go too deep right now, but it was enough for Nandini. She ran to him because she can't be without him, she said herself "in ove, you don't see what is right or wrong, what are boundaries etc, you just love unconditionally" and she gave him that unconditional love. 😳

Shells, I'm happy you are back.

You see, the absolute absence of grandeur is what makes MaNan, MaNan- the couple we're so doted upon!

A couple so real, so beautiful that we can go on and on with our words on them.

I KNEW that after saying that he'll chose his friends over her, he'd say something that'll make her stop and stay- only that I didn't know that the words would be so straight-from-the-heart-to-the-heart!

Let's just wish that we get to see some really good MaNan now, bohot ho gaya rona-dhona ab! 😆
