Okay..I m gonna repeat myself..Not Jus Killing or Intention to kill does not take u to jail..Im not saying Harshad is a saint and did not do anything bad at all..He definetely did his share of crimes..But did Fab5 get punishments for what they did? Or are u still gonna defend Fab5?And trust me Im a LGBT supporter..Im sorry to say this but the hate crime u r talking about is not even legal in India..So if harshad booked for hitting a guy to death..then Cabir and Raghav should be booked too for other whole set of reasons...
Where have I defended fab5 bullying , quoting from my first comment, their acts were disgusting but they knew where to draw the line . It doesn't justify their deeds but they did got served by the same coin - they realized and are still evolving in accepting that their behaviour or their practices were wrong .
Your question was should they go to the jail, I said no. Because for one there was no intent to kill , at most legally they would be sent to corrective centers or left to serve community services but since in the show they have been shown to improve their behaviour and have been trying to help their victims- making up for their wrongful deeds- which is way more encouraging.
Umm- Rocky S, Vikram Seth are openly gay, they are not in jail. I think you should need to read Article 377, because your definition seem to be pretty vague . Raghav and Cabir could have filed the case of man-slaughter/attempt to kill- they won't be put behind the bars for 377 or for reporting a crime.
My argument is where do you draw the line and who deserved the jail time. Harshad did, because he is being too obsessive with his crimes, some of it has nothing to do with fab5 like the date rape and he hasn't shown any remorse, regret or repentance for his actions. That is why he evokes no sympathy and deserves the punishment.
