first of let all me tell you i am not a teenage girl and am not exclusive Manik or MaNan fan..i love the show for its content and characters...

I disagree with majority of ur points...

and I mainly do not appreciate the way you have presented or rather criticized the show

it seems like u are criticizing the show based on what u see in the forum and its fan base..why not criticize it just as a show??..understand the characters keeping aside what is happening in the forum or what kind of fanbase it has...if fanbase is teenage gals how does that matter in characterization of manik,alya or cabir in that case..i dont see the connection ????

You mentioned about Chemistry. i am appalled at your thought process..coz again here ur understanding of chemistry seems to be -what kind of fans the show has or rather how many number of fans it has..and the popularity of the actors and their ranking..what kind of logic is that??? ..

You mentioned abt DABH and JA...u think they have no fans..ofc they do infact much much more than so called top shows of IF.they are top TRP garners and u think they do not have fans.???😆.they dont have chemistry..😆...Infact i was a big fan of a show called " Gulaal"...it had like the awesomest chemistry i had ever seen that too without intimate scenes..and guess wat it had no TRP and very less fans..so tell me how do u correlate chemistry and fans..coz this is some logic i cant understand ?? u think manan has chemistry coz of fans who came here coz of intimate scenes...hmm thats not right..Manik and nandi had displayed very good chemistry even without being intimate..their eyes speak a lot..they need not even stand close..but if u cant see it i guess its ur opinion and i am not gonna dig into that further..

Your major complaint is focus on MaNaN ..well yes ofc there has been but since how many days ?? i can say since they started getting more closer to each other and when the main leads are about to confess..dont u think they deserve some highlight..thats whats been happening since past two weeks..infact if u see the confession scene it was so badly executed to incorporate other characters...only thing i agree with you is they should not focus on MaNan all the time when its not needed..but past week it was peak of their love story so obvious attention 😕..can we have some patience to see how it unfolds next..??

Alya n Manik - do u think they were really in love?? I dont think so. love is not determined by how many years u spent together ..just coz they were in love with 7 long yrs u think they are in love???

infact it started like some 7th standard if am right...and these kids knew what love is ?? t..it so good that atleast now they understood the reality of their relationship all thanks to nandini..even if nandini had not come in between...manik n alya never had any future..one or the other way they would have fallen apart...do u think when the accidental kiss happened..and when alya barged into nandu's room .etc etc showed her trust ???Alya was never happy in that relationship and it brought the bad in her..remember the goons she sent..it was a cheap act...but now without manik she is such a chirpy gal..now we can she smiling and bubbly and caring for her friends ..and yes she still has a hope ...for any gal it wont be easy to come out of a relationship but eventually she will...so i think her character has been well shapened out...it has seen the max growth...manik and aliya relationship was too superficial ...if manik got attracted to nandu how does that even change the truth abt alya or manik's relationship..??? thats why i said..we have to look everything from character's pov then only we can understand them..

Coming to Manik-- Well i guess u havent understood him yet..thats all i can make out from ur posts..and i think there have been numerous posts which describes him so well so am not going to write further abt it but what i would like to say is u have to view him as a character..and not as fan gal's obsession??? coz how does that even matter as i had mentioned before???

again here u r trying to see manik from ur idealistic pov and not what manik;s. Yes whatever sacrifice he is doing is absolutely futile and wont serve any purpose..but does the character realise tht NO ??? just coz we think he should realise...should it be shown that way..this character is making a big mistake and thats how he is gonna learn..and thats what his story is about..how can u expect Manik to do what u want him to do.????? its abt him and not about fans or their views..while reading a book..do u stop it thinking..oh he should have not done that .

and about cliched ?? trust me if it was a cliched i atleast would have never watched this show..i got attracted to its non cliched treatment..but ya i understand ur fear is will it become cliched coz of MaNan fans..i hope it doesnt is all i can say..and more over every love story is similar in one or the other way..its the treatment and characterisation which makes them different...n till now its been different..MaNAn's character are well intact so do others..except for one thing -- character of Dhruv-it needs some growth..and i hope they work on it..

Having broken Alya and Dhruv's trust, he hadn't kept Nandini's trust either. A silly argument has come up that does Nandini really love Manik? Why didn't she trust his feelings when she made the promises of trusting him forever? Now this is the moment where you have to keep yourself in Nandini's shoes. A guy whom you have hated so much, suddenly shows his physical attraction towards you in missed kiss attempts and then suddenly becomes nice to you, and after a drunken sequence you fall in love with him, knowing of his breakup you start and affair with him and kiss him and suddenly the next day you hear it was all a farce, a perfect betrayal - what are you supposed to do? If you fell in love with a friend or a person whom you have known for years then she may not believe any such things - but here she fell in love with an enemy and a person whom she knows barely two months out of which it has only been a week since you spoke like a human with him. How is she not supposed to believe him? Why is a woman scorned blamed for a hot dashing Byronic Hero? Why are we taking online medium as a platform to shut off our brains and rationality?

Like yes!!! This is it! How should have Nandini believed him is beyond my understanding too!

5. Show some passion for music in NH3. Showing fab-5 as the invincible band and NH3 can win only by cheating is so unreal and cliched. Whenever a new band comes there will be new-ness, people look forward to that band first and new-ness is the thing which always tops (take examples from real bollywood music - how Aashiqui-2 music broke away from stereotypes and won the audience)

OH And one more thing where I dont agree with you is regarding Nandini's character! Idk for me she is very very realistic! Till now among all Indian shows' female leads, I have found her the most relatable and thats saying something!

She is not the one saying ' I came here only to sing' or if I ever fall in love that will be true love or I won't kiss before marraige or other silly things some goody female characters say! She agrees she got physically attracted to Manik as they clearly still not in love, thats pure attraction. She initiates the kiss when she feels she wants it. She is kind to people but not mahaan. She can fight back but is scared too. She isn't someone who is antaryami whose sixth sense will suddenly tell her that a guy with whom she was physically attracted since like some few weeks and also bullied her a LOT would be lying to her when he claims to take the revenge. Its normal and always easy to believe what others say.

Thank you very much for writing this sensible post. 👏 It was very much needed in this forum now that so much confusions and chaos are going on in the show. Your post is like a reality check for a lot of us including me!! Haven't thought of the matter so deeply before and after reading your post it all makes so much more sense. The show has a lot more scopes for improvement and the CV's should really focus on things which will make the show better rather than making it cliched. And you very truly pointed it out that if we are broad minded enough to see multiple romantic pairings of the leads in a Western show we should also be able to show the same mind set while watching an Indian show. After all there's nothing like "together forever". and a little bit of freshness doesn't harm anyone!! 😊

P.S.: I want equal screen space for all too. And it's high time they show NH3 as a proper band involving in some real action. Harshad maybe a cheapster or whatever, but Navya and Nandini came to S.P.A.C.E to fulfil their dreams. So, we want to see that happen.

i agree with you on harshad, cabir and manik-alya break up...

cabir - i never felt sympathetic towards him even hi being gay.just because he is gay and it is a crime in india doesnt take away all the sadistic things he did in the past. he knew he has a secret which is way more controversial than the videos he upload still he never backed off. so when harshad made a video of him i was kind of happy that now he will know how others felt... i only felt sad for him when he confessed he was gay to manik...

harshad - he is equally good and bad as the fab 5.. we dont know his back story so we cant jugde him. from fab 5's bullying in the initial episode it is kind of clear that they did something major to piss of that guy like this... about harshad shouting at nandini, it was justifiable coz he kind of trusted nandini... he kind of respected her and her strength. he was highly disappointed in her... the guy who never failed in any of the competition failed coz of her... if we were in his place and someone ruined our performance we will also be mad at him/her. him using navya is really bad and i dont support that but he never crossed his limits and used her physically like mukti said which kind of indicate that all there is b/w mukshad is misunderstanding... also even if he is completely bad he genuinely cares and loves his sister... i have a lot of hope in his character but the way he is shown now is quite disappointing... i dont want him to be an out n out villan...

alya- manik - what alya did to nandu was not justifiable but the reason behind it is... for her, relationship with manik was the most imp thing in her life. her own brother and friends came after that... manik never regretted or thought about her after their break up which kind of irked me... i know he wasnt in love with her but the way he behaved with her after that was like she is some random girl he used to date... also if there was no fab 5 they both would have broken up a long time ago... am fine with their break up.. am only again the wat manik is with alya post break up..

manik is at fault in lots of thing...this doesnt make his character bad it just make him look real...in real life also we expect people who we love to be honest and open with us eventhough we may not be like that to them which is quit natural... i like him coz of that... i expect my friends to be honest and open with me... but at times i dont do the same... that doesnt mean i dont trust them... we always think about over point of view first and they the other person's...

also i hate it when people blame nandini for not trusting manik...WHATEVER IS HAPPENING TO HIM IS HIS OWN FAULT AND HE BROUGHT THAT TO HIM SELF...STOP BLAMING NANDINI FOR HIS TEARS... nandini is a 17 yr old girl not some matured experiance woman to understand and trust manik after him crushing her like that... there is a thing called self respect and even if she knows somewhere deep down that manik loves her she is not gona follow him after him mocking every single thing both of them shared...

am a big fan of parth's looks and i think right now he is the most gud luking guy on indian tv but that doesnt mean i will support manik's character even if he is wrong...

i like manan and love watching there scenes and i dont mind watching them an entire episode but i also dont mind if the story focus on other characters too...

we shouldnt blame the cv's for satisfying the majority or going after the trp... they are also here to make money...

nandini is not unreal... she is not so gudy gudy two shoes if she was she would have stopped her self before getting close to manik... she didnt know manik broke up with alya before the diwali party... she did let him kiss her on the neck... she is some one who dont want to hurt others and what to be good... that doent make her unreal... her being responsible towards her brother and lack of parenhood may have made her mature than others of her own age but she is not that matured... she is an elder sister to a mentally unstable brother... she has to be strong and she has to be carefull...

navya and dhruv both of them needs character development... both are where they were when the show started...

mukti - i like her chemisrty with harshad...

U r right. I love MaNan story. I think it's coming out beautifully. But I would love them to explore the rest of the characters. I would love the creators of this show, explore this taboo subjects through these wonderful actors they have hired.

I want them to show us what Cabir is going thru with being gay;

I want Mukti to go thru the drug addiction and how she overcomes it.

I want Dhruv's secret illness, mystery be looked into. This angle seems very interesting and definitely sci-fi.

I want Navya Naveli to accomplish her goal; I want the creators to show us how she becomes one of the best guitarist. No running after Harshad with this lovey dovey drooling look. Show us that a simple village/town girl can accomplish her goal. Please don't make her cliche girl falling in love with a guy who does not deserve her at all.

We already saw MaNan romance, so whether they are behind curtains or in two different frames we will feel it, that is why we dont feel similar with dhruni as we feel for manan. Arshi... man, dont make remember them - i'll go into la la land.

If it was about 45 mins like other countries,you could equally divide the episode and have time for MaNan and show other characters develop.

You show 20 mins of Aaliya's struggle or Cabirs redemption, no one's going to care. On the other hand if we had 40 mins show where in we could show Manik/Nandini along with this, it's a hit.

In many ways you're right MaNan have diverted focus on to two characters leaving the rest out. But I don't see a possible solution other than to change the format of show. Entire episodes dedicated to other characters is not a viable option.

well may be you are right. 20 minutes shouldnt be taken as a drawback but challenge. but no writer or director wants to take up challenges.

MM.. He was a guy with different shades.. Yes he can go to any extent in degrading himself in safeguarding his friendship and team.. completely agree with you. Have you noticed in this goons fiasco, harshad was blamed and hit but he didnt open his mouth about Alya being the actual culprit and was ready to face the charges. And Alya may not have revealed it's her because things got out of hand, which she did not expected and she got scared of Manik (who is already obssessed over Nandini) And she revealed it for Harshad!

I always loved equation between Manik, Mukti and Kabir.. After Kabir's secret issue bonding between Manik and Kabir seems to be genuine and good..
Though I too want the actual reasons which was hidden behind each character.. Dhruv's past, crack between Mukti and HS status.. What was the real disaster between Manik, Niyonika and HS??
Mukti.. What actually makes her do so much pain? Can I expect solid reason from cv's... How can she expect unbreakable bond between fab 5 when they had so many secrets among them?? Why she was trying to make intact??
I don't think HS character turning out completely negative.. DV character alone had a consistency portrayal
Because this current sacrificing drama doesn't makes sense and all.. I want Indian TV writers to come out of the shell..
I want writers bit realistic and logical in their writing.. Totally agree on these. And i hope they dont take years and years to reveal them.

SO, yes, this is one of my fav replies exploring each character.
