High time for Virat to take a stand

Virat needs to stand up for himself and for Amruta also. So far his character is potrayed as fierce, head strong and full of attitude when it relates to Amruta. In contrast when it comes to dealing with Priyanka, Virat becomes weak, helpless or confused. In the start it made sense when he first sees her and it makes sense the way he acted given all the emotional baggage he carried. But we have progressed a bit far from that point. Yes, he did get back at Priyanka for the recent attack on JK aunty, Amruta and her mom.

Does Virat have amnesia? He is one who wanted Amruta by his side to deal with Priyanka. And in the recent episode he telling her that he is fine. Not sure what this virat priyanka wedding track is about yet. If it's Amvira's idea to catch the culprit's schmes or it's Virat's plan of protecting Amu. Either way this shaadi should not be allowed to happen. Both Virat and Amruta should be fighting together against the plots.

This time Amruta has all the authority (legal and otherwise) to stop this wedding taking place as Virat is her husband in whatever way established in the show already. So want to see a strong Amu who won't give up as she knows what Priyanka and Babitha's intentions are.

Also, Virat needs to stand up on his own with or without having Amruta's support. In the party episodes, he was shown as vulnerable and unable to take a stand when it came to the ladies forcing him to dance etc with Priyanka. He was hoping and waiting for his banker to come save him. Really? he couldn't put his foot down and say no on his own? What are these writers thinking? So it is high time for Virat himself to take a stand and stop this shaadi even at the last moment. In good consciousness, he should not be able to go through with it. Amu can do her part but Virat needs to be shown coming to his senses not being manipulated or fearful and preventing the nonsense or tamasha from taking place.
