I am so glad that nobody wants Kripa's pretty face to be slapped by Angad. I don't want it to happen either...a man shouldn't even touch a woman to hit her..it's not uncivilized and uncultured...but at the same time, how can we forget? Angad-Kripa are anything but civilized and cultured. 😆

I am just saying that what if Angad's patience and restraint runs out and he is provoked enough by this beautiful slapping machine to react on impulse? Angad hasn't slapped Kripa yet, but that doesn't mean he is not capable of it.

As for Pratham-Gauri of Kutumb. Pratham took a lot of crap from Gauri before he got his wild horses lose and slapped her across her face. She had actually pushed him to the edge by blaming him right-left-centre.

Angad shouldn't slap Kripa but if Kripa continues her Slapping-Machine Act , I wonder for how long he'll let her get away with it?

You're right about Pratham and Gauri. She did push him to the edge on numerous occasions until he snapped, but somehow I don't see Angad doing something like that.

I mean, they've been through so much already, and not once did the thought ever cross his mind.....the only time he even made to slap her was the first time she slapped him, when he tapped her on her behind.

After that, despite everything, desptie thinking that she betrayed him for money, despite thinking that she was carrying another mans child, despite being drunk for most of the time during that period, never did he think of striking her, so no, I don't think it will ever come to that.

Pratham Mittal?😡 That man gets no respect from me..... The the guy who could actually rape his wife.....No matter how angry or how hurt his ego was..... His act was a henious crime..... Angad is a wee bit better than Pratham in my books, but if he does follow your advice..... I would feel happy that Angad is just a fictional character..... What has Kripa done to get slapped? Has she ever taunted him in a derogatory manner without provocation? Gauri had still dared to challenge his virility because of which Pratham had lost it.......

Angad has hurt Kripa so much that even a thousand slaps cannot make up for the humiliation she has faced because of him. If it was not for her love for him, she would not have exercised so much of restraint.

😆 😆 😆 Kripa is only a beginner compared to them. She still has a long way to go. I remember in one episode Kashish slapped Tushar 13 times in a row. Isse kheten hai out of control slapping machine. It's a trend with all Ekta heroines. 😆

Nitica, I am content to just know that you exist & that I have the wonderful opportunity to interact with you.

Wondeful topic, yet again! You have made me put on my thinking caps in the morning. You know, it is weird that I actually like that you ask difficult questions, questions that might not have answers.

Anyhow, moving along...Mr. Angad Khanna, he is one of the most complex characters I have come across. Most of the time, I find him beyond my comprehension and his actions unexplainable. However, I will take a stab at answering your question.

Hmm...Inspite of his (somewhat) loose character, I am almost always in awe of him. He doesn't physically abuse my jalapeno; it is one of the few qualities that make me adore & respect him & somewhat allow me to admire him.

It will take me ages to explore why he is the way he is, but I have a few theories 😛

However 'tough' he acts, inside him is a vulnerable man. Grounded into his being is a man with morals: w/ a sense of right & wrong. He knows when he is wrong, and he is man enough to admit it: every single time krips slaps him, he probably knows that he asked for it. He finds himself deserving of krips 'slaps'. Josh scene for instance, he thought she had the right to be mean to him. 'Communication' might not exist in his dictionary, but 'regret' & 'acceptance' of his faults surely does.

No matter how loosely he talks of women, he has always put women on pedestal. He respects women and craves for thier love. He can't see them hurt, let alone hurt them. His volatile rxns. are a sign of this. He loves his dadi. She almost always supports krips. Yet, he doesn't ever accuse her. He could have flung insults at his mom, but I remember him maintaing his cool when he was sharing his child's death with his parents.Krips, as far as she is concerned, he can't tolerate her getting hurt by anybody. I remember the look on his face when Misthi was talking down to krips in the past few episodes...he looked ready to pounce on misthi. He has drawn an invisible line for himself where women are concerned. I love that about him. whenever he hurls verbal taunts at krips, it's nothing more than his pain surfacing to the surface 😭 .

I wonder if verbal abuse leaves a deeper impression on the mind.Anyways, I think the two reasons he will never cross his limits are his respect for women & his sense of right vs. wrong.

Ok, that is it...have put in more time in this topic than I planned to invest..this is just my take on his character. I could be totally off the wall.

Just wanted to add: you said that he just might loose restraint & strike krips cause he is impulsive. Agreed that he is impulsive! He does things he ends up regreting...hence, his life is a mess. But, it would be out of character for him to strike krips..."To attack women phyiscally" won't count as an act of impulsiveness...if it were, he would have already done so. It's against his sensibility & belief system😕😆ok, now I wish I could get into his head.

I hope he never ever hits krips. I am not sure how I will react to it. I don't want to stop loving his character and adoring him for what he is.
