Here is another update. It's kind of short. I'll try to update the next part soon. Please do leave your comments.

Part 28
After the engagement, Adi and Mathilli no longer had a say in their wedding. The whole family made all the decisions about their wedding and the couple had to follow them. Adi and Mathilli just hoped that Chotu would be there for the wedding. At Agarwal house everyone was busy preparing for the wedding, which was still a month away. Kamal took charge of renovating the house. A few extra rooms were added. In addition, the room next to Om and Parvati's bedroom was redecorated for Adi and Mathilli. In the meantime, Shekhar and Mayuri started shopping for Adi and the family members. All the children took charge of the decorations, food, and music while the elders handled all the rituals. Ankit and Pragati decided to represent Mathilli since she did not have a huge family. Gunn substituted for Mathilli's mother and fulfilled that part of the duties.
As for the couple…they had to do one thing—dream about their future. Parvati gave her full attention to the business, so she gave the responsibility of the college to Gunn. Mathilli joined the staff and within a short amount of time, she was appointed as head of the accounting department. Now Mathilli was just as busy as Adi. She would leave early in the morning and return late at night.
One night Parvati was on her way home when she noticed the lights of a cabin on. She went inside the cabin and found Mathilli immersed in her work.

Parvati: Mathilli, what are you still doing here?
Mathilli: Nani I was just finishing up some work.
Parvati: No more work for today, go home!

Mathilli knew better than to argue with Parvati. As soon as she left, Parvati immediately made a call.

Parvati: It's me…Mathilli just left. Don't worry the driver will bring her straight to you.

Mathilli was too busy looking over a file that she did not realize that the driver was going in the opposite direction from her house. When the car had stopped, Mathilli realized that she was somewhere other than her house.

Driver: You've reached your destination ma'm.
Mathilli: But this is not my house.
Driver: Parvati madam had told me to drive you here and leave you. You'll find your answers as soon as you get off.

As soon as Mathilli got off, she immediately recognized where she was. She was at the cliff where Adi would come to spend some time. He had brought her here after they escaped from the lawyer's office. This time, however, there was a small table with two empty chairs. Mathilli approached the table and noticed that her favorite dishes were there. She then felt two arms gently coming from behind her and encompassing her by the waist. Just then she heard a familiar voice close to her ear.

Adi: Good evening my dear fianc.
Mathilli: A very good evening to you too. So this was all your plan, huh?
Adi: Yeah, Parvati nani called me in the afternoon and left a message on my phone

*flashback*
Adi enters his cabin after a meeting and notices a message on his phone. He plays the answering machine.

Parvati: What is this Adi…how could you be so careless towards Mathilli. You two are going to get married and both of you are so busy with work. Mathilli has been working since early morning and she hasn't eaten anything since last night. Adi she is going to be your wife, and she is your first priority. You have to take care of her first since she is not taking care of herself.

* end of flashback *
Adi: That is when I called nani and asked her to tell the driver to drop you here. Don't worry I already asked your grandfather for permission…you won't get in trouble. Now can we please eat…I haven't anything the whole day either.

Adi and Mathilli fed each other while discussing their work. Afterwards, the two sat on Adi's car and looked at the stars. Adi was taking nonstop about the shopping that was going on at Agarwal house. However, he noticed that Mathilli seemed a little distracted. He snapped his fingers a few times to bring Mathilli back to reality.

Adi: What's going on Mathilli?
Mathilli: Nothing…it's just that I have this really bad feeling. It's as if something doesn't seem right. I feel as if something is going to happen.
Adi: Is something bothering you?
Mathilli: No…I just have a bad notion that's all. I guess I have been having it for some time but I probably was busy with work that I didn't really think about it.

Adi then wrapped his arms tightly around Mathilli and held her as close as he could to him.

Adi: Does this make you feel better?
Mathilli: (gives a smile) Always.

Staying in Adi's arms managed to get rid of those bad thoughts that Mathilli was having. About half an hour later they arrived by Agarwal house. Mathilli headed towards her house. By then her brother and grandfather had gone to sleep. She quickly changed into her pajamas and was about to turn off the lights when she received a call on her cell phone. It was none other than Adi.

Adi: I forget to tell you something really important.
Mathilli: What?
Adi: I love you.

awwww gosh adi is such a sweatheart! i want my own adi now! lol this was a great part as usual, dont worry if it was short, you can always make it up to us by writting a longer part! 😉

i loved every line of it... soo cute is Adi and Mathili.. i just wish ekta maiya
could show it like the ffs instead of the crap shown on air!
