First of all thank you everyone for your well wishes. I am feeling much better, and hopefully it will stay that way! Anyways here is the next update. I am summarizing some of the events that have already taken place on the show, and then I'll continue with my story, so the first part will be a recap for most of you.

Part 25
Janki Devi's war was came to an end within a few days. She sent Rajeshwari to the mental asylum and taught Shruti a lesson. With Shruti's help, she managed to get Trishna to admit her crime.
Afterwards, Parvati returned to her place at Agarwal House. In addition, Shekhar, Mayuri, Adi, and Ashutosh move in with the Agarwals. Adi started taking care of the business, so his father could spend more time with his mother. With Mathilli's help Adi mixed in well with the rest of the Agarwal children—except for Pranay, who left town for a few months to pursue his writing career.
One afternoon, Adi gathered everyone I the main room to make an announcement.

Adi: Okay everyone, today there is going to be a party
Parvati: For what?
Adi: That's a surprise, nani. Everyone just get ready and come to the main room at 8.

No one knew what Adi was up to. They just followed his instructions and came to the main room at 8. By then, the whole house was elaborately decorated with flowers and lights. Parvati had enough of the suspense: she approached Adi and grabbed his ear.

P: You better tell me what's going on
A: Okay (oww) Okay…today, Ankit and Pragati are going to get engaged. There wedding will be three days later.
P: What?
A: Because of Trishna, Pragati couldn't have the wedding every girl dreams of and the family couldn't be part of it. So I thought that we give that to her now.
P: That's a really great idea…I'm so proud of you Adi.
A: Actually, Mathilli gave me this idea.
Mayuri: Looks like I'm going to get a wise bahu.
P: That's true…but anyways, thank you so much Adi.
A: Please don't thank me…Pragati is my sister also, and anyways, isn't there a belief that if you help out with someone else's wedding, you will get married soon?
Mayuri: Oh, so you want Mathilli to come here soon, that's why you are doing all this

By now Adi had started blushing a little, and Parvati and Mayuri enjoyed teasing him.

A few minutes later, Ankit arrived at the party with his friends. He was warmly greeted by the whole family. The pandit then announced that it was time to have the ceremony and asked for Pragati. Just then Pragati stepped out of her room escorted by Tanu and Mathilli. While the guests eyes were on the bride, Adi was admiring his Mathilli. She looked beautiful in her black dress:

Mathilli could feel Adi staring at her but she pretended not to notice, just to torture him a little bit. Pragati sat beside Ankit where they exchanged rings. Afterwards, Bharat asked the couple to start the party with a dance. For a few minutes Ankit and Pragati danced alone on the floor, and other couples later joined them. Adi noticed that Parvati was getting a little teary from observing Pragati and Ankit. He then approached her:

A: This is really sad, one of the most beautiful ladies is standing here all alone. Nani, would you do me the kind favor of dancing with me please.

Parvati couldn't help herself from laughing at Adi's gesture, and she willingly gave her hand to Adi. Mathilli was glad to see Adi trying to make Parvati happy, and she did not mind that he was dancing with her. Mathilli decided to dance with Ronit.
A few minutes later, Parvati stopped dancing and guided Adi towards Ronit and Mathilli.

P: Excuse me…if you don't mind, can I dance with my other grandson?
Mathilli: Sure!
Ronit: Well Adi, I guess Bhabhi is all yours.

Ronit and Parvati walked away from the couple and danced on the other side of the floor. As soon as they left, Adi immediately grabbed Mathilli by the waist and started swaying to the music.

A: Finally, I got you all to myself.
M: Why, were you missing me?
A: Do I have to answer that question?

Mathilli gave Adi her million dollar smile.
M: This is a really sweet thing you did for Pragati…she's grateful to you.
A: Well, the true credit goes to you…earlier mom was saying that her future bahu is a wise woman, and I have to agree with her.

Adi placed a soft kiss on Mathilli's forhead.

By now Bharat, had switched to a fast number. All the guests were now on the dance floor. Everyone surrounded Ankit and Pragati at the center and danced around them while they danced with each other. A few minutes later, the couple pulled Adi and Mathilli to the center also. As the music got faster, Ankit picked up Pragati and Adi picked up Mathilli in their arms and twirled them around. Everyone at Agarwal house was enjoying. However, a figure stood by a window behind the bushes and observed Agarwal family.
