If she uses it to write a contract or a confession , he can easily say tht it was a blank paper and then he put his thumb on it , and as a journalist don't you think he could read and write so what use is his thumb print ?

Then that blank paper and the thumb print if used can become a fraud case against Sonakshi

Legally a blank paper with thumb print is of no use in such a case and has no validity in real world . Maybe in telly land they can do something with it , in real world it is risky

In real world all Sonakshi had to do was tell the truth , apply for bail and wait for Mthare to be caught . Her phone records would show she wasn't in touch with him before one month and Ashish Mthare would be having phone records with some one with whom he was regularly talking . Police would pursue that and also pursue the financial trail. He is in hiding he would need money , and that money will be used , they can trail that.

Actually police do catch lot of culprits and mostly take them to court and have them prosecuted .

I have simpler suggestion

Mhatre's daughter must have uploaded her picture on her social media...just show it to the police...it will have date n all with whole mhatre family including the dead wife happily smiling with her in the picture🤦

Police just wants a proof that Sona had been to Pune for appearance in a wedding function...police gets to see the date and all decked up mother-daughter duo. Maybe from Sona's tags section, she can also find out that epic group photo of bachelor party. We know how fandoms have hawk eyes n they keep a trace of celebrities whereabouts n activities each day... wouldn't her loyal fanpages have found out n uploaded those pics too😂

When Sona was so keen on clicking all these pictures, I had a thought that mhatre might blackmail her again n make her pay one more visit to Pune for one such cheap thrills saying she never completed her promise and that's why she must be getting so many pictures clicked on her own. I hope they use these pictures and give a tribute to the fanpages who take so much effort to collect the daily pics of actors...how their efforts can be fruitful n all that😂

N as far as the agreement is concerned, I guess sign on a blank paper means whatever written on it is agreed like any amount can be put on a blank cheque, isn't it? If it's not so, they still may use this in TV law😂

But he didn't sign it , he put his thumb impression , an educated man put a thumb impression on a paper won't it raise red flag ... Secondly ,anything written on paper doesn't become a truth although they may do it in telly land but still all the documents need backup

To prove a crime we need three things - intent, motive and opportunity . And anyways Sonakshi is not being accused of murder she is kinda being accused of knowing the whereabouts of the murderer and maybe being an accessory to the murder . The fact that she left the place and the wife was alive is of no use . The murder obviously happened later and so if she was accused of being a murderess all she had to do was prove that she wasn't anywhere near Pune when the crime happened

But she is not being accused of murder , she is accused of being the reason behind the murder . According to police she is the person having affair with Mthare

She just has to prove that she loathed the man and has nothing to do with him but telly land has to create a drama so it is being made a huge deal

Exactly. I m telling to use the photographs to prove that she is not the one having affair with mhatre. Y would she go to his place if that was the case? Why would his wife be all smiles with her? Why would mhatre himself invite his gf as a dancer at a bachelor party? This would prove she is not having any affair with mhatre n hence has no motive or intent to kill his wife or be instrumental to the murder or whatever. Forget gf, no man will even invite his acquaintance as well as a dancer in bachelor party. Since mhatre did, it proves Sona has no friendly relations or even dur dur Ka rishta with mhatre. By date of the photograph, I mean, police can be sure that it pertains to the same day that they r refering to...the call logs day. In fact the call logs itself prove that Sona has nothing to do with mhatre apart from those 2-3 days.

As per the plot of the show, I get this idea of using Photographs. They can show that at times such selfies also play a good role. Fans randomly take such pics but no one knows when the pics can be useful. She can even tease Rohit how fan power can save her life as well.

Btw I m not sure whether at the end of the day they r just questioning her or interrogating sonakshi as a murderer because that dialogue was weird. The policeman said that to prove that u were there only for pooja sippy, mhatre needs to be searched n all that. It was little confusing. Anyways let's not think too much, anything can happen in a serial😀
