Why is no one talking about this?

So I saw both the 4th and 5th episodes just now and I'm honestly surprised why is no one discussing the absolutely horrible un-sanskaari behaviour that "The great mahan Doctor Riddesh" displayed?????

He actually had the AUDACITY to raise a hand to his wife???!!! And no one, NOT ONE PERSON, condemned him for it?? Like what the hell??

No matter how bad the things Maya said were, nothing ever justifies violence. Ever.

And yet I don't see any charcha at all about this. Not from the characters and not even from the fandom.

Am I missing something here? Maybe I missed a post about it.

And even after that Anubhav Kulshrestha had the gall to ask Dr. Riddesh ki "Aapki apni biwi k saamne nahi chalti"??

It clearly shows the misogynistic thinking that is being promoted here

Would love to read everyone's thoughts on this, because I'm baffled there isn't any reaction to it.

Actually I wanted to applaud maya, the way she defended while he was about to slap. I am completely against the way she misbahved with kks. But I liked defending part. I want gungun to become strong enough to defend herself. In this world there are so many ppl who will hurt you directly or indirectly. But we need to be strong enough to defend our self. Now I don't think ridesh will ever think about raising hand.

I so wish, if they had presented maya in polite n dignified way.

Indeed I was proud of her too for defending herself. If Riddesh did this in a room full of people then imagine how he would have behaved when they were married and living together?

I don't think Maya was wrong in leaving him then. Her not contacting Gungun was very bad though.

And yes, she was way out of line with the Kulshreshtha family but that doesn't negate that her husband almost got violent with her and none of these ultra sanskaari people raised their voice against that 🙄

I haven't watch the episodes lately but I saw the updates.

How disturbing!

And how violent!!

In front of their daughter and people as well.

Very pathetic by Riddesh. He shouldn't have behaved like that, completely uncivilized.

I will not comment on married life of ridesh n maya as it was never talked or shown. May b ridesh raising hand is just that moment. But still he shd not hv raised his hand. Sanskari ppl will sympathise ridesh thinking how bad wife he got. No one will question him. Also did u notice, after all these anu was still taking his name with respect. And went on blaming gungun. N being father he stood still did nothing. In all...gungun is lonely n she has no one.

Wait... This happened for real??!!!

I'm skipping all episodes from past week and only reading highlight from forum and twitter...and as far as I remember no one mentioned about this much.

This is truly horrible on part of riddesh. Why didn't any character said anything against it??

I didn't like the trying to slap part about the Dr. Riddhesh.

Other than that, the episodes were absolutely horrible. Maya is a horrible person. I'm surprised that they are still married. That woman is toxic and a nasty piece of work.
