Yes, Riddesh goes to slap Maya but she stops him by catching his hand in mid-air.

But it was so absolutely disgusting and showed that no matter if one is a scientist or doctor this cheap behaviour is found irrespective of education.

And the super sanskaari, super proud of their values Kulshreshtha family just stood there not saying a word, not interfering not even thinking that what happened was wrong.

N being father he stood still did nothing. In all...gungun is lonely n she has no one.

Exactly. I couldn't believe Anubhav was saying such disgusting things and this man who claims to love his daughter so much just stood there and let her be insulted?

Gungun should just take her inheritance money and peace out of this misogynistic madhouse

Other than that, the episodes were absolutely horrible. Maya is a horrible person. I'm surprised that they are still married. That woman is toxic and a nasty piece of work.

your comment and signature synch well dear🤣😆

May I also add, that I absolutely hate the way this show pushes this narrative -that working mothers are bad. There are so many problematic dialogues given to gungun as well and I've never seen anyone talking about it

Like there's this dialogue where she says-" Agar aapko doctor banna tha wahi ban jati, maa kyun bani aap?"what the hell is the dialogue writer even implying here. That career oriented women shouldn't become mothers? I always wanted a proper backstory as to why Maya abandoned gungun.I just couldn't buy this reason that she left her for career.

Indeed, this show is extremely misogynistic in the way it continually shows that all the men are such paragons of virtue and only the married women who know their place is in the house and kitchen are the good ones.

They give examples of how Chhavi and Goli bua are allowed to have jobs. But where's Khushis job? Why is she not working? And really, all the married women of K house desired to be only mothers and wives? Who's to bet once Goli bua is married to that guy who she loved she will stop working as a teacher?

And even dialogues n screen play are absolutely biased towards ML team. If maya insulted kks anubhav insulted doctors too. And not just in party, he insulted GG in breakup party too. But not even one scene kks n anu hv guilt about it. It is all FL n her family had to feel guilty n beg for forgiveness. How biased writer is. It is not just in this serial 99% serial r same. I don't know whether it's audience fault or makers. ITV n audience definitely need to change. We need normal story n not doormat FL.

He actually had the AUDACITY to raise a hand to his wife???!!! And no one, NOT ONE PERSON, condemned him for it?? Like what the hell??

No matter how bad the things Maya said were, nothing ever justifies violence. Ever.

And yet I don't see any charcha at all about this. Not from the characters and not even from the fandom.

Am I missing something here? Maybe I missed a post about it.

And even after that Anubhav Kulshrestha had the gall to ask Dr. Riddesh ki "Aapki apni biwi k saamne nahi chalti"??

It clearly shows the misogynistic thinking that is being promoted here

Would love to read everyone's thoughts on this, because I'm baffled there isn't any reaction to it.

Okay so I haven't been watching the show for a few weeks now...but this was definitely not something I expected to happen from Riddhesh's side. I could not agree with you more!!

I understand whatever Maya did was unforgivable, but violence just cannot be justified, regardless of the gender!! Moreover, Riddhesh always presents himself as a calm and sophisticated person...is that just for the public eye? I applaud Maya for retaliating against such an action! (Also, we do not have much idea about what transpired between the couple before their separation..so there's no point discussing that!)

I too found that statement, where Gungun told her to be a doctor instead of a mother, problematic! Like, her anger is justified but the makers could have expressed it in some other way!!

And regarding Anubhav's question...his sheer impudence to ask such a question is too reproachable!! Anyways, his character's been too damaged..there are way too many flaws to be pointed out!😔
