Manjhi Maa knows that Yug has an immense liking towards Kali since he came back from the trip and expressed how much he liked the experience. Every time he expressed doubts on why Kali seemed more like his singing soulmate, she was trying to edge him towards accepting his feelings. Somewhere I think even Yug knows he likes Kali, which is why he is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for her sake. Even in the confrontation scene, he is somewhat more angry he did not see reality earlier rather than for their so-called dhoka. Kali, too knows she has a soft spot for him, look at her smile when he does simple gestures, but she is trying to discourage that because she feels that he ought to be with Gauri (real weird logic..but whatever!) So I genuinely dont know what the outcome is gonna be. But at some point Manjhi Maa will stand up for her children too.
