Amit Kumar-limits have been crossed.

What Amit Kumar had said 2 the contestant(i forgot his name).I think that it was extremely rude! I know that he is a judge in the contest, but it doesnt mean that he could just say wtv he wants. Saying remix of that song was garbage was really mean of him 2 say that 2 Babul, when Babul himself said that all those other singers..such as : Sonu, himself... etc sang remixes whom are really big singers.Amit always gives his dad'z stories abt this & that, my question is that..what did he do himself. Well im sry 2 say this but he isnt a big singer as his dad was. He may have have released albums, but has he ever sung in a film? Does he have his own identity? i noe him as Kishore Kumar's son.Ok, fine...yes the contest is abt original kishore kumar's songs... but he didnt have to tell Babul that remix songs ruin everything.He considers himself a Big singer, which is wrong.Many ppl i noe around me who are very upset abt this incident.Im not sure if this has been discussed earlier, but many here think that if he has to say all this, he can jus tell him softly... explained to him instead of criticizing the big singers who actually have their own identity.Some are soo tired of him that they want him 2 leave the show if this happens further on.He can tell them that u should sing original.....especially saying this infront of the audience..he is disgracing himself. I mean if Kishore Kumar himself was here in the show, he wouldnt have said this as his son had. & he starts a fight with Babul.Poor babul cant say anything to him because he know how 2 respect others.Just because amit is mad at the contestant doesnt mean to say bad stuff abt Big stars.. big singers and disgrace them😡.Plz also tell me abt ur thoughts, because its very upsetting when sum1 humilates another infront of cameras as if they have no respect, or naam. thx. bye.😊 ps: im sry 2 hurt any1'z feelings by any chance, plz 4give me for any misunderstanding if there is.

I think most of the participants everyone is just here to criticise Mr. Amit Kumar. Diva, just for your information, Amit Kumar is singing since he was a kid. His very first song was 'Main ek panchhi matwala re' from the movie 'Door Ka Rahi'. Then his first hit song was 'Bade Achhe lagte Hain' from movie 'Balika Vadhu which gave his the so called "IDENTITY" as a good singer. Amt Kumar also won 1 filmfare award for the song 'Yaar aa rahi rahi hai'. Not just that, but he has been singing for 3 generations. He has sung for Rajesh Khanna Amitabh Bachchan generation, Then he sang for Shahrukh Khan/ Amir Khan generation and now he is also singing for Ritesh Deshmukh/ Shreyas Talpade generation. His recent hits are 'Dekha jo tujhe yaar, dil mein baji guitar', 'Miss India Ko maine', 'Chhori Ki Baatein', etc. So please clear your misunderstanding that he does not have identity. If I am not wrong, he has sung almost 1000 songs. Ofc, these are less in compare to other singers but he sung all these songs without any struggle to get any song. I agree he is not as popular as other singers today and there might be any valid reason that he is moody/ straight forward/ against Chamchagiri/ greedy for fame, etc. But he is surely a gentleman.

Coming to his opinion about the re-mix songs, I sincerely feel you all have taken him completely wrong. I only saw the adverts of the coming episodes and from that I can see that he DID NOT insult or disgrace any other singer. He spoke about it when he was asked his opinion. And he mentioned this quite many times in his past interviews that he always have been against the re-mix of the songs. But again, thats strictly his personal opinion. I would surely watch the episode and then post my comments about it because it is not fair to make comments on such episode advertisements. They are many time presented that way just to attract people to watch next episode. So relax and please lets wait and watch the coming episode.

I like Amit Kumar as a judge coz so far his judgement and comments have been accurate and true in my opinion. Seeing the previews of the next episode, yes he seemed rude and I didnt like the way he spoke to Babul.

Agreed that he may have his own opinion abt remix but then ultimately its again a profession for certain individuals so insulting their profession comparing it to garbage was bad esp in front of the person whose profession it is ( DJ ).

Its the livelihood for many singers who cant make it big in Bollywood. I also dislike the way Babul is treated in the show, rajeshwari interrupts him all the time and doesnt allow him to speak at all, not only that he says something and she contradicts him.

anyway lets see how the episode goes today

I don't blame him. It was an insult to the show for having a remix round and calling some pathetic DJ as the judge since Kishore da didn't like remixes himself.

What Amit Kumar wanted to express is true. Remix of old songs should not be done thats my opinion too.

But the way he expressed it was very wrong. He insulted other singers who are singing these remixes. The same thing was also expressed by Nagesh. But just see the difference.

And it is a fact something none can deny. Amit Kumar as singer never made a big mark among the mass. Atleast singers like Babul and Sudesh Bhosle did it. So calling their work as "Kachra" publicly on face was very rude. Such an attitude is not expected from such senior musicians.

Come on guys. Do not tell me that Amit is the best singer India had produced. If he was so good as someone claims how many songs he has done in the last 10 years.

This is the age of remix. If he can not remix he should shut up and quit.

Babul is a much better singer than Amit -see his performance in other shows.

Amit is there sheerly due to a biological accident - he is a son of K.

It is sad that people do not recognized Amit Kumar as a singer. Please google search on him for his songs, he has sung best songs so far, I think Nagesh K should sign him for his new film.

I agree with Amit and Nagesh entirely that remixes of the good old songs is not a nice thing to do. As Nagesh said the old songs have survived so long because they are CLASSICS and not because they were remixed!! I can't think that any of the new movie songs would still be remembered 20-30 years from now whereas Kishoreda's songs will still be evergreen.

There is no doubt about Amit Kumar's talent. He is far better than many of the singers we have today. Quality has definitely taken a back seat in today's cinema.
