Part 1
The Sharmas are back home, fuming at how completely Brij had won over the entire Vashisth family. Padma remarks that Brij has that entire family under a spell: she wouldn't have believed it herself had she not seen it w/ her own eyes. KK points out that that's the problem: had he not had that ability, neither would Jyoti have been initially trapped by him, nor Sushma. Padma says that now Sudha is there as well, and as long as Brij is on the loose, the lives of all their 3 daughters are threatened, and will continue to be threatened, and they would be powerless to do anything, other than just watch this circus. KK despairs on what to do, and how does he save his family from this lowlife? Deepu is engrossed on a solution.
In the Vashisth mansion, a courier delivery has arrived for Uday. Jyoti tells CM that Uday left early for work. She offers to send it to work if it's urgent. CM decides to open it and see what it is to determine that, and says it's either a card or a photo. Jyoti looks at her stunned that she's opening Uday's envelope, but CM tells her that it's her son's, and she's done this before. She opens it, and out comes a few of Uday's wedding photos. CM looks at some of them, turns to Jyoti and glares at her (what else is new?) She gets up and goes to the table where Jyoti is working, and slams the photo in question on the table. In that photo, Jyoti is seen beaming w/ happiness as Uday & Sudha have just gotten married. Pointing it out, CM tells Jyoti that she told her in a very cocksure manner that she had no hand in Suday's wedding, and the reason she was so smug was that she thought that there were neither witnesses nor proof of this. Now, what's this, and what does she have to say, while CM slams each photo on the table. She confronts her w/ her statement that Suday were married by the time she arrived, and Jyoti confirmed that. Now yelling, CM continues that even she knows that Sudha trembles whenever anyone shouts at her, and that there is no way she'd have dared take such a step on her own: she did this just on Jyoti's inspiration (how about just Uday, as actually happened?) Her son opposed her just b'cos of Jyoti (yeah, it was Jyoti's idea to go w/ them to Kota, invite everyone, entertain all the guests at their home while smuggling Uday out to a temple to marry Sudha, and then, to top it all, return to the same place where not just Uday, but she herself would be the object of opprobrium of both families) She tells Jyoti that listening to her daily lies, they've started sounding true, and that she's sick of it. Every time she wanted to depend on Jyoti, the latter proved that she was unworthy of that confidence. Jyoti tries to explain, but CM shuts her up and storms out of the place.
In the streets, Sandeep has gathered a bunch of his friends in broad daylight, all armed w/ hockey sticks. He then takes out a bunch of photos of Brij, and distributes them to his friends. He asks them to disperse to various locations that he names, and instructs them to let him and the others know if they spot him, and not to let him escape. One of them ask him how will they find him in such a huge city? Deepu says they have to, and they're likely to at a tea stall, or at a liquor store. He says that he won't go home w/o settling his scores w/ Brij.
Part 2
In the Vashisths, CM is sitting alone, when Pankaj comes in. CM tells him that she's very agitated, and therefore, not to disturb her. He tells her that he understands why she's agitated, since Jyoti told him everything, and even she was very upset about the photos. CM gets up and asks - Jyoti is upset? She always felt that Jyoti was always lying regarding her son's marriage. And today, when she's been caught lying, he dares tell her that the liar is upset? She doesn't know what to say - she's the one who should be upset. Her trust is gone. She's separated from her son (maybe she should have married him herself) Plus she was humiliated later. Pankaj pleads w/ her not to bring up these old issues and resurrect the finger-pointing at each other. They need to think about today, about Minal and her future. CM agrees, but asks how does she forget those photos? She tells him that if he could have seen the photos, he would not have come there to his wife's defense.
Sandeep and his friends are still on the hunt for Brij. At a tea stall, the guy says that he comes there everyday, has tea and biscuits and takes an auto and leaves. Deepu calls all his friends and asks them to convene there.
Next morning, Brij gets up and says to himself that he feels like talking to someone. He decides to make that someone the Vashisths, and decides that b/w calling Pankaj on his mobile or land line, he'd pick the land line so that the person he wants to talk to I.e. Jyoti picks up the phone. He calls, and Sudha answers. He asks her who he is talking to, and Sudha tells him. He greets her and tells her that it's him Brij, and Sudha becomes tense and is about to put down the phone. Brij asks her not to put down the phone, and tells her that he has no enmity w/ her, (which is true insofar as had Uday not belonged to the same family as Jyoti's in-laws, nothing may have happened to her) and that he's a big fan of hers. He tells her that she looked, nay, was great at the party, but her sister was no less. That's why they got such a rich sasural, no? Sudha looks angry, and Brij continues - that's why he got such a beautiful SIL, and how dear SIL's are to jijas. He tells her that if she doesn't understand, he'll explain it to her one of these days (so what's Brij up to now - hitting on Sudha?) Brij tells her that if she takes care of him, he'll take good care of her, and even give Jyoti a grace period of a few days. Sudha is terrified to hear this, and weeping, asks him why is he doing all this, and to please forget everything and leave. Brij laughs hearing her, while she asks him whether he'll be happy bringing grief to other people (she knows he will - what a question!!!) At this point, Jyoti, who is passing by, comes there and knocks the phone off Sudha's hand, and tells her - it's Brij, right? She tells Sudha that there's no need to grovel and beg before him - as it is, he enjoys playing them like a fiddle, and such grovelling just emboldens him even more. Sudha is still shaken, so Jyoti comforts her.
At the tea stall, Brij is having his tea, when Deepu & his friends spot him. They run towards him, and Deepu knocks off his tea. Brij gets up and is startled to see Sandeep there, and flees. Deepu & his friends chase him through the gullies and elsewhere, and ultimately, the chase takes them to a highway. There, Brij stops and tells Deepu that if he lifted a finger, he'd do all the damage he could to his family that he'd regret this move. Deepu tells him that he's not scared of threats, and Brij says that this is no threat - he saw that day at the party how friendly his jija is w/ Brij, if he went and told him everything, everything would be over. Brij continues his threats, and Deepu challenges him on who exactly is he scaring? Then, spotting a truck at the right distance, Brij darts across the road, and Deepu and the others are about to follow him, but the truck passes them and Brij makes good his escape. Deepu's friends remark that he's out of their hands, but Deepu says that he'll be found again sooner or later, and that he's still in this city.
Part 3
Brij has just arrived at the Vashisth home, and is being escorted in by Pankaj. They are engaging in smalltalk, as they pass the kitchen, where Jyoti is working. As they enter the living room, Jyoti comes and asks Pankaj whether he wants tea or coffee. Brij very helpfully tells her that he'd like a cup of tea prepared by her own hands, and Pankaj orders a coffee. Brij tells Pankaj that after a day's work, he returns and his loving wife asks him whether he wants tea or coffee. Jyoti watches this from a distance in disgust. She returns to the room w/ the tea and coffee.
Brij then looks up and asks Jyoti the name of her bro, who he met at the party. Jyoti is hesitant to answer, but Pankaj tells him that his name is Sandeep. Brij tells Jyoti that today he met him, and that he wanted to tell Brij something, but Brij was in an auto, and before he could tell him anything, Sandeep was left behind. He asks for Sandeep's number, so that he can call him and ask him what he wanted to say. Pankaj offers him his phone, and tells him to call from it. Jyoti is flustered, but is unable to say anything.
Sandeep answers the call and thinking it's Pankaj, greets him respectfully, but finds out that it's Brij. Furious, he demands to know how Pankaj's phone landed in his hands? He guesses that he's in Pankaj's place, and tells him that regardless of what he's up to, Deepu will not let him escape. Brij tells him to calm down, and that he didn't get him earlier - that he told Sandeep that he'd talk in the evening, and so here he is. Brij continues that he understands that Sandeep had a very important thing to tell him for which he couldn't wait, right? Deepu tells him that this can have dire consequences. Jyoti is looking perplexed at what Brij is saying, and Brij tells Deepu that there's nothing to be shy about what he wants to say, and that he happens to be one of his own. He tells him that he's well liked in Deepu's sisters' sasural, so he's related to him as a result. Brij then asks Pankaj whether he agrees w/ that or not. Pankaj, as usual, is amused. Deepu tells him that Brij knows fully well how to exploit the difficulties of others. Brij tells him that he does open up to his sister & Jija, so why not to him? He invites Deepu right there, so that they can drink, and converse at the same time. Jyoti looks at him alarmed.

Coming Monday. Finally, Jyoti fesses!!! Jyoti resolves that today, she'll tell Pankaj everything, and at night, when they meet, her hand in his, she tells him - Pankaj, there is something I want to tell you about my relatives. This is something I never wanted to cover up from you, but I couldn't bring myself to tell you this until now. Pankaj's smile disappears, and he let's go of her hand. His face is that of one betrayed.đđđ

So CM got back into the mode where she blamed Jyoti for Suday's marriage. Jyoti should have confronted her w/ her acceptance of Sudha, and pointed out that once the marriage was done, she had no options but wish them well. She should also have reminded CM that it wasn't too long ago that she was grovelling and begging Jyoti to get back Uday, even at the cost of Sudha, and that she had also accepted Sudha as her bahu. Too bad Jyoti lacks the same spine that she has whenever she's confronting Brij.
And what's wrong w/ Sandeep - hiring his friends to be co-thugs in broad daylight and going after Brij w/ hockey sticks? Did they think that no one would notice? All Brij would have had to do would be to run in crowded areas, and that would have put paid to that attempt.
As for Sudha, once she got Brij on the line, she should have simply hung up, instead of listening to him on not hanging up. Sudha has been doing better lately, so why is she still such a chicken when it comes to confronting Brij? She should have simply told him that nobody was home, and hung up. Hopefully, Sudha tells Uday that Brij tried to hit on her - she doesn't have to say anything about Brij's prior relationship w/ Jyoti, which Pankaj is going to know anyway.
Anyway, this is what takes it to what will hopefully be Monday's episode - Jyoti fessing up to Pankaj re: Sushma, Brij & herself.
P.S. Next week, I'm unlikely to post any updates, due to prior engagements. So unless someone else is doing them, just maintain a stiff upper lip and watch the episodes, either @ 8:30pm or 1:00pm the next day, aside from other re-run timings
