yeah, you know, jyoti gets on my nerves quite often! it's not just because of this. it's many things. i never liked how she never stood up for herself in front of Padma, and i didn't like how she never stood up for herself to the CM.

also, she never told Pankaj the truth about her and Brij or about Shushma being her sister!

she also is overly involved with her maayka! i know a girl should never forget her maayka and help them whenever it's needed, but it should not be at the cost of your duties in your sasural. plus, eventually, her maayka need to learn to survive without her.

i hope the show producers are reading this post....they are over doing the jyothi's role of showing light to others ..in fact it is a very interesting serial and very engrossing....only time i get irritated and bored and feel like changing the channel is when they show jyothi ......

Jyoti seriously needs to be slapped, she was UNBEARABLE in today's episode. When things were already difficult for Uday-Sudha, she had to go make it one step worse by screaming Sudha down and getting her to say no for the marriage.

First of all, I was shocked seeing her questioning Sudha. She sits quiet when CM scolds her, but then goes home and screams at Sudha? Doesn't she know her own sister well enough? Can she actually even CONSIDER that Sudha would try to trap Uday? Just to get on CM's good side, she goes against her own sister and blames her for all of this. Then, when she goes home and tells CM, she gets screamed at more.

I was really waiting for Padma to get into her Padma-mode and slap Jyoti or something. I just am completely and utterly disgusted in Jyoti today.

Actually, Jyoti is the next most hated person for me after the usual suspects - Padma, Brij, Sushma & Sandeep (I've never forgiven him, and never will: he belongs to that bitch Padma), and last week, CM has gone from liked to hated. Last week or so, she gave all women a big lecture on how they should not take the abuses of their husbands lying down. Yet, in her own maakya and now sasural, she's always put up with abuse from everyone - previously Dadi, Padma, and now in her sasural, CM. She's one to speak. After all, most domestic abuse cases (not just violence) are perpetrated not by the husbands, but more by female in-laws, like CM, Minal types. Yet, she's worse than even a Sushma in this area - I've never seen her speak up against CM or even against Padma, whereas Sushma did occasionally revolt against Brij, except that she bought his lies later.

In fact, Jyoti is a very good example of what sort of a bahu and beti one shouldn't be. An anti-role model.
