I don't think she should have gone back to work....i mean what if Brij finds out and then uses that to blackmail her....pankaj might suspect that instead of going to work...she would meet her lover....also choti maa might see something and think something else and tell the family....i think it's a bad idea...something will happen due to her going back to work

well u cant stop from moving forward predicting there is a pit in the way.she is doing all this bcoz she does not want her family to be called as people who take money from their samdhis for a living. If brij fills pakaj's ears and blackmails jyoti that will be the agnipariksha for pankaj-jyoti relationship. Its a good idea not a bad idea.kundan bhi to aag mein hi pak kar banta hain.

I agree but then again they had to do something to show that shes not a typical girl..the show is about a girl who can do anything and everything for her family so why would she stop after marriage. I like it, its def an interesting track. However CM is def going to create a lot of rifts and barriers along the way. They will def bring brij into this as jyoti hasnt told pankaj about it, lets see what will unfold!

Jyoti had 2 jobs, only one of which involved Brij. The main job was the dance job, which was where Brij was the singing lead in the act. The other was Sishu-mangal, where Brij was nowhere in the picture.

Now, Jyoti has quit the dance troupe, as she pointed out to Deepu & Sudha the other day when they asked her to accept the ceremony. So even if Brij was never removed, the question of him encountering her doesn't arise. And neither Brij nor Sushma had anything to do w/ Sishu Mangal, which is where Jyoti has resumed her duties.

Now, cm is objecting to Jyoti working there, going in an auto, etc, and pointing out that it can't be for the money, since Jyoti's salary would be meaningless in the Vashisht household. But once she finds out that Jyoti's actually sending the money to her parents, I can see her accuse Jyoti of being disloyal. While I don't agree w/ cm and am increasingly disliking her, Jyoti's family isn't one that deserves her consideration to the point where her relationship w/ her sasural is jeopardized. If Jyoti can't sell cm on this one, she should quit doing this for the sake of her family, and only do it for the Sishu-mangal kids.

Particularly once Uday & Sudha are married, there'll go Jyoti's one reason for worrying about them at all.

i dont agree with you Vrisha that she should stop being loyal to the family she has been with years(especially her father and Sudha)for the sake of a newly joined sasural.i agree that in India a sasural and its happiness is considered as a girl's priority after marriage but that doesn't mean own own family becomes less important to you.if u cant support them, how can u support ur in'laws with whom u have a newly found relationship?
As for cm,she behaves as if Jyoti has done something wrong to her and has caused a big harm to her and therefore she does not miss a single chance to blame her and her family.whenever u live in a joint family you will defintely find atleast one character like cm.You can even find more if ur not lucky enough.does that mean u ruin ur own life to please everybody?u have to handle each and every character in their way in a joint family and not move as a puppet as per their wish. if u do,their demands increase, increase, increase and increase.choti maa is simply jealous.I dont know why.maybe she wanted pankaj to marry a lame or blind girl so that she can keep both of them at her toes throughout her life and uday's wife would have become the charming bahu of the vashist family.maybe she cannot tolerate one more eduacted and intelligent member in the family(as pankaj's mom is a simple gharelu housewife).she was even more jealous that the kangan went to jyoti as she might have predicted it would go to none other than her bahu.
I think Jyoti has done a good job by joining the job despite cm's unwillingness.Atleast she will now not expect anything unreasonable from her.
I think cm should stop treating pankaj as a kid who can never go beyond her words and should accept the fact that he is a married man now and can take decisions for him and his wife.
