Sudha always turned into Devika @ night. How come this time, it happened @ dawn? Also, this time, didn't she have her meds? And Uday's explanation 😵😵😵 - of course it made no sense, as Devika pointed out: if he's married to Sudha, how come Devika is there in a sari & mangal-sutra in his bed 😆😆😆 But the sad thing her is that Uday won't be able to cuddle up to Sudha for fear that she can become Devika anytime, which is why what happens to Sudha shouldn't be a secret from him ever. Maybe, next time, Uday should take Devika to a different temple - just the 2 of them - and marry her there, so that Devika is okay w/ being in Uday's bed in future. 😆😆😆 I felt sorry for Uday on his being hit, but the one silver lining was seeing CM & Minal shocked. Devika had flashbacks of Ronnie Pande, and hopefully, she'd be more careful w/ Uday in future.

Devika does need to return to handle CM & Minal, but in the night after Minal sabotaged Sudha's kuldevi puja, Sudha turned into Devika, was startled at finding herself in Uday's bed, and took it out on him. I really want Devika to work in Sudha's interests, and take it out on CM & Minal, rather than Uday. Maybe that still will happen, though not in this episode

That was temporary, and already past. Already, MN&G, Pratik, as well as Pankaj & Jyoti have accepted Sudha as the new bahu in the family, and since Jyoti succeeded in getting Uday back, her stock is back w/ all but CM. Also, since MN&G saw that the price tag for not accepting Sudha was losing Uday along w/ her, they accepted the marriage, and since then, Sudha has managed to endear herself to them so far. There doesn't seem to be any residual misgivings, unless MN&G hold Sudha responsible for Minal's expulsion from her sasural, which they wouldn't, since they know about the Sudha/Devika issue.

Also, CM wants to bring Sudha to the same parties that the family attends, albeit for nefarious reasons. But to do that, even she'll have to pretend that she's accepted Sudha, even if she hasn't, and if Sudha does nothing at the party to embarrass anyone, then that plot of hers too would be foiled. Besides, CM seems to hate Jyoti more than anything else, and if Brij does anything that reduces Jyoti's popularity and distances her from Pankaj, CM will be very happy. Even though she will still not accept Sudha, she won't focus on it either, since a much bigger fish is there to fry.

Bottom line: Sudha's marriage won't be the cause of any more family tension, just tension b/w CM/Minal vs Jyoti/Sudha.

From the Jan 14th episode, where Sudha calls and asks to talk to Jyoti, Jyoti refuses to talk to her, saying that CM wouldn't like it, and therefore, Sudha shouldn't call her again in future. Sudha is left shattered after hearing it all. 😭😭(see from 3:10 to 4:20)

It's now high time for Sudha to move on. Pankaj doesn't want to see her, Jyoti won't talk to her, CM & Minal hate her. Sudha should now focus on her own marriage and making Uday happy - so far, he's been busy trying to stop her from crying. Instead of crying any more, Sudha should forget that she ever belonged to the Sharma family, that never thought of her while backing Jyoti in her lies, and instead, focus primarily on Uday, and also doing what she can to mitigate the grief of MN&G, as well as get to know Pratik as well some more. That way, while she's in the doghouse w/ half the family, the other half of the family that doesn't hate her can get to know her better.

If for all that, she needs to forget Jyoti & move on, she absolutely should.

Sudha defies Bhairavi

And returns all the jewelery given to her by Bhairavi, telling her that since they came from CM, and could be asked to be returned, there is no point in her keeping it going forward. 👏👏👏

Finally, Sudha has found her voice, and has firmly made it clear to Bhairavi that she can no longer be taken for granted. Her self-respect is there too - the jewelery that CM forced her to take, not b'cos she loved her, but just to make Jyoti jealous (which didn't happen), is now returned, and CM can no longer force Sudha to do her bidding. Sudha continues that she will bring all the Vashisth family possessions back from Jyoti. 👏

Sudha then declines Uday's offer to accompany her, saying that it will hurt Jyoti even more if she sees others urging her to return it. Uday is proud of her. 😍

Hopefully, this is the first of many defiant acts on Sudha's part.
