Sudha collects Jyoti's jewelery

Sudha goes to her maayka, and tells Kalpana that she too will help Jyoti get rid of everything that reminds her of the past. She then goes in, and ignoring Padma & Poonam, goes into Jyoti's room and tells her that she needs to take back all her jewelery. Jyoti returns the engagement ring, and Sudha asks her for her bangles as well.

Sudha then tells Jyoti that she's sending in her stuff, but Jyoti asks her to donate it to some charity.

Everybody in the family is appalled, but Sudha urges Jyoti to send a message to Pankaj that she's complete w/o him, and doesn't need it. Jyoti very reluctantly gives it up, and Sudha takes it, and w/o another word, leaves.

Uday & Sudha gone!!!

In today's episode, when the Sharmas were entertaining a rishta for Jyoti, the prospective saas asked Padma about their second daughter i.e. Sudha, and Padma mentioned that she and her husband are traveling in America.

It was unclear whether Alok & Sriti are on a break or out of the show for good, but if the latter, yeah, I know, we are 🥺 and will miss them, but look @ the bright side: at least, they don't have to put up w/ Bhairavi any more, and nor do they have to be used by Padma for her own selfish needs. It's not like we ever saw them romancing - it was always them running around @ the behest of CM & Pankaj! After the way he got snubbed by Pankaj, I'm glad neither Uday nor Pratik is around to support Pankaj when CM too has taken Neelam's side over his!!!

It will be sad that they won't be around for Jyoti's marriage either, assuming it's to Kabir. I do hope that if and when they have Jyoti marry Kabir, they make it a Saturday special like the godh-bharai and have Uday and Sudha make an appearance there - even tell them that they are expecting their first kid (forget that promise, like everything else gets forgotten).

On a different note, I wish Alok & Sriti all success in their future projects, like rakth samandh and all those other serials or movies they participate in.
