The trip to meet the informer was indeed fruitful and the presence of the Ustaad himself was justified. The information obtained was earth-shattering, and that is putting it mildly. The dalliance of the devil Khalil with a Hindu Prince defied all logic and only boded disaster with a capital D.

Part 1's hair raising, spine chilling encounter between AMK and his enemies in the alleyway couldn't have been written any more brilliantly than it was. Playing the overpowered victim, giving the strangler a false sense of victory, AMK turns the tables on him at the moment that he willed and returned the favour with a death grip that ended his story, with his accomplice being dealt the same fate moments later. All in a day's work for the Ustaad in extracting the information that he sought but it came at a price - neck bruises and a hurt throat.

Ibrahim Mirza, look what your relentless needling got you into? The challenge of a race with the result being a foregone conclusion. A man who has embraced his blissful marital life wholeheartedly and riding high on those memories that came flooding back , thanks to your jabs - is not one to be beaten, even in your dreams!

AMK's keepsake that kept luring Heera back to it was definitely worth its weight in gold. It is a love story like no other- who wouldn't want to be privy to its juicy details?Heera was quite a sport, entertaining all her maids' mischievous queries, much to their delight.

Part 2 -The trappings for a second ecstatic journey for Akheera were set in place. 25 mouthwatering Marwari dishes to satiate his hunger and a few desserts - the laddoos, the home-made perfumes- to completely bowl the man over yet again. Seeing his injuries and pain, Heera finally steeled herself to brave all the blows that fate had in store , willing to pay the price to have this amazing man in her life.

Nothing can top the beauty of your writing describing all the romantic scenes in her chambers dear author- we bow to your mastery of portraying intimate scenes in such an intoxicating manner, as always ,leaving the reader reeling from the devastating after effects.

Heera's narration of the mortifying Bansi experience could not have been done in better confines - swathed in his reassuring arms ; much like a similar scenario not too long ago when the roles were reversed where he was cocooned in her safe hands as he recalled his bitter past.

His solemn promise to exact revenge for her humiliation . Will the fortunes of the escaped messenger last until he completes his mission?

Lashy Sahiba, thank you so so much for another stellar offering. It appeased our ravenous appetites beyond all expectations! 🤗

A thank you thali ( Marwari fare ):

And like always I was hungry and ravenous for your review and now I feel satiated! 👏 The aromatic fragrance of your writing is spread all across the globe making us delirious in its rich content. 👍🏼

And the paragraph in blue truly depicts the wounds of a wife of a husband who lost a bet! The reprimands are not admonishes per se but more of a heads up for him to be aware of next time before challenging the Man!! I understand Bhabijaan you felt bad in Mirza Sahib's jabs that led to his losing the race! 🤣 But Mirza Sahib was not well rested then and he was hungry too after all that tackling of the attacker! 😆
But we all loved his jabs to AMK, saw a human side of KS in front of his men and how dear they are to him! Shows the camaraderie he shares with Mirza Sahib and there is someone who can be subtle and yet be provoking to KS which for a moment took him by surprise and let his emotions show in his eyes and smile! 😉😆

Gem of a review Rosejaan! ⭐️

The former is available on youtube i think and the entire collection is available in CD stores, even in Malaysia, i think. The latter is there on Hotstar, both the original and the Tamil dubbed version on Star Vijay.

Try watching any of these Rosejaan. You'll get a very good idea of the epics. Both these versions not only present the story but also have an indepth discussion of poignant issues of right and wrong in the course of dialogues or as bgm or intros.

But you must watch the episodes continuously and not at random.

Thank you Sandy Begum for this information. Watching the serials would be the best way to know the epics. Watching continuously-this is where the problem lies -to find the time to do that. I think there is one serial that is currently on air on Star Vijay but I hardly watch TV nowadays except for the news, so I am not sure if that is the one. But I will surely look into these alternatives , Sandy Begum. 🤗

Rose I can write thesis on Mahabharat and the characters because I have read so many books by different authors on the epic and original epic itself both in Bengali and English and this is one of my all-time favourite book where you find every aspect of life and the lessons and every character represents something and have their own story and how they are all interrelated to the original story!

And his doctrines on the running of a state, duties of a king, justice, etc are compiled in 'Vidura Neeti' which is seen as a forerunner of Chanakya neeti.

He was also a very skilled warrior. His bow 'Govarthan' was supposed to be invincible. Not even the Gandiv could face or cut the arrows from it. So Krishna during his visit to Hastinapur as a negotiator slyly provokes Duryodhan and Vidur against each other to such an extent that Duryodhan keeps hurling one insult after another at Vidur, calls him a das putra and Krishna adds on - ' Don't insult him to such an extent that he breaks his bow and refuses to fight on your side' and Vidur does just that. Krishna HAD to do so because Vidur did not have any weak points like Pratigya or Curses like Bheeshma or Karna did. Else the Pandavas did not have a chance.

As a citizen of Hastinapur he cannot morally fight for the Pandavas either. So he doesn't participate in the Kurukshetra.

Lana, Sandy Begum- what a pleasure it is to read your posts about Vidura- nothing can be as exhilarating as hearing it from the subject matter experts. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🤗

Speaking of grey, I remember the question Sandy had once asked me.

Had Akbar's saviour turned out to be someone like an Alauddin Khilji rather than someone with a slightly better sense of good and bad like the Shehzaade, how would Khan Sahib have grown up to be, as a man? After all, his work puts him at cross-roads many-a-time - forcing him to make judgements and act on the spur of the moment.

Recalling what Chachajaan had to say about the child who met the Shehzaade.

'I still remember the first day that child set his sights on the prince in the camp. His fingers were polishing metal, when in walked the Shehzaade - an enigmatic man, beyond all harm and hurt... his small eyes instantly brightened! Everyone would be on their best behaviour when the prince was around... but this boy would be on his best behaviour always... and that didn't go unnoticed. Huzoor took a liking to Akbar, heard his sad story out and the rest was history. He became the father that the boy lost... the brother that he never had... the mentor that he needed... he tutored him... gave him an identity, a home, a purpose, a title and a business - never abandoning him throughout! So I'm sure you understand why Akbar works tirelessly for our Huzoor... dedicatedly serving the man who made him what he was... BUT' he thumped his frail chest 'not once has my son lost his innate goodness during any of it!'

Had the Huzoor, or the prince been an Alauddin Khilji in the paragraph above - most of it would have still been true. Walking freshly out of many months of tragedy, abuse and abandonment, ANY source of light would've been something the child would have grasped at. After all, Akbar is a survivor - and the sight of a larger-than-life fearsome Alauddin Khilji, whom no one could touch would have been awe-inspiring. At first.

But as the 12/13 year old grew older, he would have seen the man for whom he was. Chacha jaan's soft grumbles at night/prayers to Allah would have been enough of a wake-up call for his conscience. Maybe, as a 14 year old, he was compelled to take the life of an innocent while following his senior's orders. Or, it could just be the sight of women and children suffering at the hands of Khilji's direct atrocities - but all of it would continually remind him of the atrocities he bore at his own home too. Akbar never was and never will be vindictive against those who've done nothing to him - not the kind to take life's frustrations against those who don't deserve it. So, the fact that he had moved on from one evil to another, moved on from victim to perpetrator, would have gnawed away at his conscience - so much that he couldn't have stayed on for long. Even as a boy, he couldn't have watched and laughed on - like the rest of Khilji's soldiers - as homes were plundered and humans laid to waste.
A lot of the decisions the Shehzaade makes today, is to stay in power. Assassinating those enemies plotting against him and being merciless on the battlefield are how all people stayed in power (Even the revered emperors like CGM) That is how, AMK justifies the violence that he carries out/witnesses. But even then, he always hated what Khalil stood/stands for.

Similarly, Akbar couldn't have stomached Khilji's needless violence either. Now, he couldn't have opposed Khilji since that would be the end of him (and he is not interested in politics anyway). So, he would have either saved enough wealth to one day leave it all and move on to another profession with Chacha jaan (business, for example - which he is excellent at)
Or, had he given his Huzoor a promise to serve him forever (like he'd done to the Shehzaade) he would have asked for a transfer and worked for the Khilji administration elsewhere - where he wouldn't be witnessing these atrocities - becoming somewhat of a 'good general' in whichever province he was placed. No doubt by doing this, he would have garnered enemies too - but as a man who's overcome fear, he would have anyday preferred THIS, to being directly under Khilji (like he's under the Shehzaade now), and carrying out violence against innocents.

I find all of this quite 'grey' 😊

👏

Like i said before also...
Khan Sahib is just like lotus flower emerged from the muds but totally unaffected by dirty muds .😊

the lotus in the mud symbolizes the hardships and difficulties of life, or a challenging time we have faced or are facing. As with the stem growing toward the surface, we also grow through our experiences, through our difficulties, learning lessons along the way, removing obstacles and overcoming our adversities. As the petals unfold, we too unfold, and become like a lotus rising from the murky waters and flowering into something beautiful. Its open blossom stands for enlightenment

Copied 😆

Parnagarh Daily News found out about dislodging of the missing person's FIR about Kuki Begum and the media will investigate more about the disappearing act and will get back in details later!

Apparently, news just came in from Parnagarh that missing right-hand man of the Mansabdar also has returned some time back and was in the room with the Mansabdar but we were not privy to the conversation! It was reported sometime back Azeez came out of the room and again went somewhere which the sources have no idea about.

Kuki did appear in HBAS house for a while but without citing any reasons for her absence she again left without any notification!! The house members are at a loss as what to make out of her attitude and behaviour!! Like always she bestowed her love for her special anonymous friend vociferously in her short presence in the house!! Honoured her with her special name and acknowledged how well she knows her nameless friend who was so worried about her absence and did everything to locate her! The friend like always anticipated the volatile love of Kuki and was well prepared for it! In this day and age, such bonding and love are unheard of!!

Azeez is also very close to this anonymous friend and makes sure she is updated on their love story and whereabouts. He also confides and often asks for advice from this friend as well! Apparently, her farm is a favourite haunt of his! Both partners seem to be in sync either with their likes or dislikes about this nameless friend!! May they blossom so and our heartfelt good wishes for this bonding with this friend to remain so forever!

🤣🤣🤣

😆 😆 😆

Looks like the anonymous friend has gone on record to declare the prominent role she plays in the couple's love story.😉

The Daily must be thanking their lucky stars for having such a person on the inside who is only too willing to spill the beans on this matter. 😆

Actually, it got him exactly what he was after... AMK racing off is not something new - but not before revealing his emotions, in the form of a shrouded smile that even the Ustaad could not contain!😉

And if you are wondering if AMK allowed him his 'winks of sleep' - of course, he did! A three day travel back cannot be had without rest - as much for his own 'well-rested' self, as for the sake of his friend... 😉
