Just reading the news clippings about the atrocities happening in Kashmir was very disturbing -can't imagine the sufferings of the people who lived though it. 😭
What a contrast - a little girl who has withdrawn from the world after a traumatizing experience and a little boy who is so carefree and living life to its fullest. 😃
A gripping first chapter, an endearing precap. 👏
Thank you Shailaja for this FF and hugs also for the translated parts since I don't know Hindi (except for a smattering of it ). 🤗
Yes, the kind of incidents I read while reading the background for this FF were literally regurgitating at many points. It is really difficult to imagine what they must have felt to leave their ancestral homes for generations together at one stroke like that. Their world must have turned upside down.
Jo-Ja will go on to transform this world by their positive and constructive actions. But all that will come gradually. It is my personal opinion that if there is an antidote to hatred and terror, it is only love, love for yourself, love for humanity, love for your own, love for those who are not your own, a love which includes everyone in this wide universe.
Only such love can heal the world. Problems will be there but such love shows the path and gives the solutions to these problems. So that is my overall vision for the kind of love Akdha will have for each other and how they will change the little world around them.
I usually translate dialogues because not everyone understands Hindi well. For that matter, when I have to write dialogues in Hindi, I too keep searching for my words.
Thank you for that long and beautiful review. I loved reading it.
