My dear Shagun,I like your work. And I thank you for giving the translation of the dialogues as well. Wonderful!I know that you are capable of writing such beautiful pieces as I have read your Jalal and Jodha's diaries already, and it is no surprise for me this time. After reading it, I thought that how could this scenario be viewed independently by both of them, when they record their entries in their diaries.Lashy has already pointed out the tasty portions of your work in detail. But I like to mention your quote:"At the exit, he turned back again, perhaps to collect the smile he left behind.."This reminds me of a very old Tamil film song of the late fifties which goes,"...kannaththil oNNe oNNu kadanaaga thaada.." which means, " Please lend me a kiss/peck on my cheek my dear.."It is a song sung by a mother to her small kid, which was interpreted thus:" The mother asks the child to lend her a kiss, since only then she can demand and get back the same from him..."Thanks again Shagun,Saraswathi Aunty.

I am shat pratishat a 10th grader dii...and also a normal 14-year-old...😆😃 BTW, Shyamala Aunty also told me something on similar lines sometime back, only that there was Enid Blyton in place of Nancy Drew...😆Nancy Drew books never took my fancy...Sherlock Holmes and the 39 clues is more like me...
Of course, once you've had a taste of the Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie, Nancy Drew isAnd eloquent! This is the first time someone has used this adjective for my work, and when that someone is you, it means a lot! ❤️ Thank you so much dii! 🤗Yes...The post-Benzo track is the best of JA! ❤️Thank you... my pleasure... 🤗If it had been someone else, she would have probably stayed a bit longer at the window, but it was this man, someone she couldn't afford not to look at!
I absolutely loved this line... don't know why... but it said a lot without actually saying much!
Thanks di, glad you liked it. Even I had loved it while writing, though I was unsure if it will make any sense to the readers...😳😆
Of course, it did! 😊
"Mhaari Gharaali Sa toh aaj badi sundar laag ri hai!"
Jodha was taken aback by the fluency her dear husband had in Marwari. But it was only momentary surprise, for she continued to play along.
"Aaj toh mhaare bhartaar bhi kuchh kam saje dhaje na laag re...Kahin ghoomne ja rahe ho ke?"
"Ji Haan Sethani Sa, socha aaj apni beendni sang thodi sair kar lun..." ( Yes Miss, I thought to have a tour with my wife...)
"Toh fir raah kiski taak re ho? Chaalo ji, kahin der na ho jaaye thane..." ( Then whom are you waiting for? Let's go, otherwise you'll be late...)
How sweet😳... how did you get the apt marwari dialogues, btw?
The language itself is very sweet. 😳
I framed them myself di. 😃 I would say Marwari is an easy language, once you know a few words, you can easily guess/frame the others. My knowledge of the language is from the show only! 😃
I am glad you liked this part, btw! 😳😃
Wow... this is what impressed me most... at 14 years of age, you decoded a language... 👏
Beautiful, baisa... keep it up and keep it coming!
Thank you so much Lashy di for the lovely comment...🤗
You know what, when I was a visitor on IF, I had read some of your works. I was and still am a huge fan of your writing. That time I had never thought I would ever get to talk to you, let alone reading your comment on my very own work! This still seems like a dream to me! 😳😃
Thanks again di, this really meant a lot! ❤️
Love you...❤️
And these words from you, meant just as much to me 🤗
