Really nice to know you have been an old silent reader of this forum/blog. Wish you had joined earlier. The blog also contains articles on other dynasties, other than JA. Hope you are regular there too. They are a recent addition. :)
Keep writing when possible.
BTW, Your signature is really meaningful and evokes lots of thoughts : " There is nothing like evil. It is just a term used to describe the absence of God. "
Your welcome. 😊
I have never been to such forums before and was in two minds whether to join or not. That is why joined so late. Yes, i have read the other posts too. Even they are really informative. I am not a regular there...will try to come there too.
I too found this quote meaningful and thought-provoking. Actually i had read an article somewhere titled " God vs Science". This quote is the conclusion i made after reading it.
And about the marriage, i am short of words. The marriage of two religions, two completely different people and above all, two hearts. It must have been amazing.😳 Morever. it was a very significant event in the history of Hindustan.
It is amazing that Akbarnama has an entire chapter describing this wedding. It speaks volumes about the relationship of Akbar- MUZ.
Abul Fazl's description of Heer Kunwari is very pleasing and speaks about the respect she commanded in the Mughal Empire.
And, the horoscope... i really loved it. And as Coolpree says, it goes on to say that it was a match made in heaven. It tells about their divine connection and that they were, truly, soulmates. ❤️😳
Finally, i absolutely loved loved loved Dr. Lal's s description of Harka Bai. It describes her just as i have always imagined her to be. It also tells her position in the Mughal household as well as empire. The account of Dr. Saxena highlights the political importance of this wedding and the gain that the Mughals had due to it.
The politics behind the marriage is also very interesting to read and tells that this event has long roots in the past.
Both the posts are well-researched and nicely presented. I especially loved reading the second part.😊
