Thank you so much, my dear Ela.

As for not releasing Jodha's brothers, I think Sharifuddin might have wanted to try and reason with Jalal that they should not be let off so easily. It does sound less than plausible after the early episodes where Sharifuddin was trembling at Jalal's lightest word, but perhaps he thinks that as Jalal's behanoyi now, he should have some more leeway.

See the way he dismisses Chugtai Khan's remonstrations about his constantly changing the terms for the safety of the three princes! It is that extra arrogance. But Jalal brings him down to earth when he snubs him brutally on this issue. Idhar udhar kya dekh rahe ho? he barks at Sharifuddin at Sambhar.

As for Ruqaiya, she is so puffed up in her own conceit and her hold on Jalal's dimaag that the very idea of a kafir captivating Jalal would never occur to her. To Ruqaiya 2, that is!

Excellent analysis Shyamala...👏.I agree with your reasoning that Jalal might have given instructions to SD abt how to go abt with Amer but if SD was also a part of the plan then why did he hesitate to release Jodha's brothers as per Jalal's orders? ...

Jallu's meeting with AK was good...and I liked both the actors...Chetan has always managed to impress audience with his acting...

Another thing is that Ruq has met Jodha and has seen how pretty she is...Ruq also knows Jalal ran away to Amer...How come she has not added two plus two?

My dear Bindu,

You are incorrigible! Padhayi ka kya chal raha hai? Well, if you must, a little break like this one is ok, but do not extend it to a whole lot of other threads, my dear. It is very time consuming.

I am very pleased that you liked this one so much. I LOVE the clapping faces. Where do you get these things from?

I agree with all your comments, so I have nothing much to add to this post. Except that I too wish they had at least hinted at the collusion between Jalal, Chugtai Khan and Sharifuddin in a voice-over. Failing that, one has to fall back on the clues I have listed, and Jalal's expressions: first like a cat at a mouse hole and then like a cat which has licked up all the cream!

Yes, and Jalal, as an intelligent monarch, should have gone deeper into the misdeeds committed by Adham Khan by conducting his own enquiry. I have noted this failing of his, as also those of Peer Muhammad and those accusing Adham of these atrocities. They all fell down on the job.

Aunty,

A brief comment from my side, as I couldn't resist writing few words on your brilliant analysis of the episodes.

All the three episodes were intense and Rukaiyya-free😉😆

This was another fantastic review aunty🤗

I loved your logical interpretation of the entire sequence of events.

First,Sharifuddin has attacked Amer without Jalal's order nor there was any prior intimation from Sharif's side.Jalal comes to know of this, post attack and he expresses his pleasure to MA.I wondered whether it is possible for a Subhedar to wage a war on his discretion. Its extremely difficult to believe that Jalal has not discussed the course of action post victory with Sharif, given the importance of Amer to him. So,as you said he must have asked Sharif to screw Raja Bharmal.Wish these things were actually shown.

I liked Chugtai Khan,he is a true friend to Bharmal and also loyal to Mughul Sultanat.

Rajat,Paridhi,Ashwini and Chetan were flawless⭐️

I liked Bharmal's self talk scene too and the dialogue you mentioned.

I love Rajat's angry young man avataar❤️ ❤️and the blue dress suits him the most
The triumphant smile on his face knowing that Bharmal wants to meet him was a sight to behold😳😳.Amer and Jodha are synonyms for him😉😉

Paridhi depicted a true princess❤️❤️ and her performance was awesome👏👏.Her reaction to Surya's death was neither OTT nor less.I liked ur explanation😃.She was optimistic about the victory but was practical enough to understand the situation and accepted the defeat. As you said, she is a princess and knows the responsibility well.

The best scene was the one b/w Jalal-Adham-Maham.Jalal's dialogues and RT's dialogue delivery coupled with his rage filled expressions were beyond perfect.I liked the last warning he gives saying Adham's would've been the theesri laash and next time, even doodh ka karz won't help😉😆.It was directed at both Mother and son😆

But had Jalal gone deep into the matter and ordered strictly for evidences, instead of believing in fake proofs of Maham, his tiresome journey from Agra would have benefited. Also, from Preeti's comment, its clear that Malwa issue was part of actual history and not just NR.So,this seems incomplete

Jalal is definitely not a jallad,he cares for the riyaaya but needs some hitopadesham badly.Later,Jodha does the job.(She convinces him to go for a war against his Nigaar Aapa.)

Your reference to Adham being a changeling is hilarious🤣 and BK's last laugh too😆

How come Jalal didn't observe MA while leaving the room and how did MA place herself between Jalal's sword and Adham at the right time are million dollar questions😆😆I'm glad you mentioned these which were in my mind too.

I too felt Jalal's slight smile after his Nikaah with Salima was intended to MA😆 while she doesn't even bother to fake happiness

My post turned out longer than intended.I'm waiting for the next masterpiece aunty as I've not read ur reviews during original run of the show.

My dear Munni,

Thank you very much, my dear. I am pleased that you liked this one so much.

As for Chetan, I met him in Montreal in early 2006, when I was the Indian High Commissioner to Canada. He was then playing the younger romantic lead with Aashka Goradia in a Balaji serial Kkusum. That was a positive role. I have not watched any of the serials you have mentioned, so I was not aware that he had done mostly negatie roles. The funny thing is that I do not remember his being so gigantic then.

Yes, Bharmal invariably gets on one's nerves. He is a colossal fraud. But as for the way he is corralled by Jalal, yes, it was all planned by Jalal. I have listed the clues that point to that, and one has only to look at Jalal in the next episode to confirm that. Mindblowing is an inadequate word for what Rajat has done there.

As for Jodha and Suryabhan, I am glad we agree on that.

aunty, perfect analysis once again. one thing i like to add, chetan havent done much of positive roles, he was always know for his negative roles most popular was sasha in balaji's kahani ghar ghar ki. with other PHs also he had mostly know for negative roles, the worth mentioning shows r PRC, where RT played prithvi & veer shivaji.

as per the show goes, honestly, bharmal always irritates me. "pith pe war karne wala" i mean really?? wht is he??? snatched his own nephew's throne & look who is talking. 😡 as per jalal goes i dont know whether it was his plan or not bcoz its not shown, but right now im just going to enjoy rajat's mind blowing acting.😳

as per jodha goes, i had also said the same thing tht time regarding suryabhan issue. she is not at all love with him or dont have any intense feelings for him tht she will break down or go into any deep grief. she respects him for his qualities & afterall he is her would be husband so its normal she had tht natural gratitude for him, which she mistook as love. but tht feeling was never deep enough to go into any trauma.

My dear Preeti,

I agree completely with you on the Rani Rupmati bit. She should have been included, provided she was not played by Meghana Naidu (Benazir) or someone of that kind!😉 Then again, a really lovely Rupmati would have been competition for Jodha. I suppose Ekta did not want to spend money on a track that would not have advanced the Jalal-Jodha relationship. Benazir does that and Atifa too, you would remember.

Oh, your two new words; you are pulling my leg, my dear!

It is very interesting, that the kate hue sar bola nahin karte is a straight lift from the Akbarnama. But what does Maham mean by saying that to Jalal as a kind of warning? By then, she has recovered her aplomb to a great extent and is no long gasping for her life a millimetre away from Jalal's shamsheer!

I did not know that the two murdered girls were Baz Bahadur's concubines. In the show they look like ordinary girls from among the general public. Of course the way in which they defied Maham to her face was incredibly stupid. They should have pretended to agree with her, and then, once they were in front of Jalal, told the truth.

As for Jalal's miserable handling of the Malwa affair, I agree with you, and I have said as much in the post, in the questions part and outside it too. It was pathetic. I did not know that he left Adham in charge when he left. That is even worse, the pits.

Plus, I have never understood this doodh ka karz business. There were many other wet nurses for Jalal, including Jiji Anga, but one never sees Jalal talking of his doodh ka karz to her or to any of the others. As for Maham having deprived Adham to give him this doodh, that would always be the case with any wet nurse, who would invariably have a nursing child of her own. It is all nonsense.

The fact was that Jalal/Akbar repeatedly turned a blind eye to the depredations and crimes of his near and dear ones till they became insupportable, and then he had them executed, like Adham. I believe Sharifuddin had his head knocked off by an elephant.

"Questions: How is it that no question about Adham's misdeeds is raised by Jalal apart from the one of having killed children, the old and women? Even about this last, though Maham lies thru her pearly whites and produces two dead bodies as evidence in favour of Adham - she warns Jalal in the end that he should keep in mind that kate hue sar bola nahin karte, whatever that might mean - the key point for Jalal is that these two dead girls cannot talk either, and he has to take Maham's unsupported assertion as true.

Even if this "evidence" is accepted, how is it that there is not a single other witness to Adham's crimes, and how is it that his accusers, notably Peer Mohammed, are unable to unearth such a witness?

Moreover. what about the other accusations against Adham, that he let Baz Bahadur escape while he was busy grabbing his treasury and his harem, and most important, that he sent only a small part of this loot to Agra and misappropriated the rest? Not a word is said, by Jalal or by Peer Mohammed or the others, about these very important points.

This is bizarre, and reflects badly on Jalal as a ruler, for it shows him as lax and unfocussed on the task at hand, which is to probe Adham's crimes in Malwa. If these other accusations had been raised, Maham would have been very hard put to save her son. In the event, he gets off scot free.

Lastly, Jalal, while leaving, is not shown issuing any orders about the future dispensation in Malwa. This too is very odd, for he could hardly have left Adham in charge!"

I am glad you agree with me on the Jodha-Suryabhan relationship.

Hello Shyamala, I want to go first to the end of your post and thank you for deciding to do a stand alone piece for episode 31 for it can easily count as one of the Hallmark episodes of this show.

Episode 30 was a very interesting one for me both in the "reel version" and the "real version with the battle of Malwa". For this episode had some very firm foundations in history. I only wish they had included the romantic but sad end of Rani Rupmati and the absolute cowardice of her so called love Baz bahadur. When we can be treated to endless episodes on fictitious characters like Benazir, laboni, Atifa and Shenaaz. Why can't we have a little snippet about the lovely and brave Rani Rupmati especially since she is referenced so vividly in the Akbarnama itself.

The most delightful part was definitely the last scene. The look of "sheer delight" as you said on Jalal's face when Chugtai Khan (loved that character ) mentions the presence of Bharmal was amazingly enacted by Rajat. I got goosebumps thinking of the way he is going to corner Bharmal in the next episode.

Hot Air and Vain Glory: Your hilarious reference to Bharmal's "substantial anatomy" notwithstanding, I really felt bad and fearful for the Ameri's. They are really caught between a rock and a hard place. The sheer panic and desperation shown by Jodha perfectly highlights the hopelessness of their situation. I only watched episode 30 but I think Raja Bharmal is perfectly pragmatic and sees the writing on the wall perfectly. Jodha as you put it was dignified and fit her role as a Rajvanshi princess perfectly. I tend to side with the underdog and in this case my sympathies were firmly with the Ameri's.

Your take on Jodha's lack of grief for suryabhaan was remarkably perceptive and took me a while to process. I agree with you completely and also loved your reference to the "Deewangee " which will develop between her and Jallal.😳

Maham: I learnt 2 new words in my weekly English literature class with you " Mrigtrishna" and "Goebbelsian lie" . Thank you for providing the definitions so we did not have to scramble for our dictionaries😆😆

"Well, the wheels of God grind slowly, says the Bible, but they grind exceedingly small"- Loved the way you have used this verse. This is so true to the Maham situation on so many levels...beautifully put 👏.

As for the murder of the two concubines of Baz Bahadur : I am not sure if many realize this but her Dialogue " kate hue sar bola nahin karte" is not some random dialogue but is a direct quote from the Akbarnama!!!

I am quoting directly from the English translation of the Akbarnama chapter XXXV:

"Maham perceived that if these two women were introduced to His Majesty the veil over her acts would be raised, and her son's treachery be revealed. She therefore caused these two innocent ones to be put to death for "a severed head makes no sound." - this I thought was pretty remarkable. Someone on this show really did their homework.

Jalal and Raajdharma: the dialogues you quoted were beautiful but rang very hollow to me. For leaving Malwa and his dear riyaya he cared so much for in the hands of Adham Khan (yes he did leave Malwa in their hands after they handed over the spoils of war) a mass murderer and rapist was unbelievably careless and irresponsible. Very very far away from Raj dharma in my opinion. I have a lot to say about Jalal's handling of the Malwa episode both in the show and in real history. But I am tired and its late at night so you will be spared my rant for now 😉. However I do want to say that given the magnitude of Adham's crime, Jalal should have chosen his Rajdharma over his doodh ka karz. He did not and as you said he came across as Lax, indecisive and out foxed once again by his Baddi Ammi.

Thanks once again dear.

Preeti

My dear Devki,

As I agree with you in toto, I need add nothing here. But I am sure Jalal had it all neatly worked out in advance with Chugtai Khan. You just have to see Jalal's face as soon as Chugtai Khan mentions the word rishta to understand that.

Don't rush into maafing sau bhashan from Jodha Begum! Once she really gets started, she will have you climbing the wall! Or, alternatively, tearing your hair. 😉I agree that right now. she is all that she should be. The funny thing is that later, I had forgotten how much I liked her in the beginning!

As for the modaks, it is ok so long as you do not get a tummy ache!😉

I, for one, am truly impressed with the way this whole Amer war, Malwa incident and Bharmal meeting is so well grounded in history. All the NR has been so well incorporated that very few things seems out of place to me and I am willing to nazarandaaz those. This is a lesser crime than the things I have chosen to ignore much later.😆

I am in absolute agreement with you that more likely than not Jalal is the mastermind behind the Amer war. He has to be. The fact that they did not show any kind of guft-a-gu between Jalal and Sharif about the whens and hows about the war maintains the mystery around how this whole wedding proposal came about.
They let Jalal's expressions(RT was super) do all the talking and let the viewers decide for themselves. Anything more obvious would have taken away that mystery and the excitement about did he or did he not??
Chugtai Khan seemed genuine in his approach to Jalal but they did have few private minutes before Bharmal came in. Jalal may have given Chugtai Khan strong hints about which direction he wants the convo to go in.
Jodha was just the way she should be. Such maturity in one so young is truly commendable. She is one of those rare people who are like a rock of support. Just their presence is enough to boost a person's morale. She does have a tendency to Bhaashan maaro, like she did Bharmal as he left with CK to meet Jalal but in my eyes Jo ko sau bhaashan maaf.😆
PS: Modaks are all gone! Steamed and fried YUMMO!

HI AUNTY

SORRY FOR REPLYING LATE.

WELL, THIS TIME THE DELAY HAS BEEN CAUSED BECAUSE HOW MUCH EVER I WRACKED MY BRAINS, I COULD NOT COME UP WITH ANYTHING AT ALL TO ADD TO YOUR BRILLIANT ANALYSIS 😛 BUT AS USUAL, I ENJOYED READING IT THOROUGHLY

FRANKLY I FOUND THESE EPISODES TO BE JUST AVERAGE. OF COURSE, I MUST ADD QUICKLY, THAT IN EPI 30 JALAL WAS LOOKING ABSOLUTELY YUMMILICIOUS 😳😆 IN THAT PINK JAMA AND PURPLE OVERCOAT

I AM CONFUSED ABOUT WHETHER ALL THIS RISHTA BUSINESS WAS PRE ORCHESTRATED BY JALAL AND CHUGTAI KHAN. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LOVELY HAD IT BEEN SO, AND ALSO, JALAL'S EXPRESSIONS AT TIMES, DO CONVEY SO TOO, BUT IN THE END, HOW MUCH EVER I WANT TO AGREE, IT, SORT OFF, DOES NOT SEEM PLAUSIBLE TO ME. YES SOME SCENES DO SHOW A COUPLE OF POINTERS, BUT I AM WONDERING WHETHER IT WOULD BE PRUDENT TO GIVE THE CVS SO MUCHCREDIT 😃

ALL THAT JALAL MAHAM ADHAM BROUHAHA WAS A BIT OTT, I THOUGHT, IN TERMS OF CONCEPTUALIZATION - MAHAM REACHING THERE WAS ALMOST LIKE SHE WAS AN EXPERT AT OCCLUMENCY AND SHE IMMEDIATELY APPARATED THERE. AND THE ENTIRE SCENE THEREAFTER WAS ALSO SUCH A "IN YOUR FACE" EXERCISE

THE ONLY PURPOSE FOR IT WAS TO CONSTANTLY RE ESTABLISH MAHAM AS THE MAIN VAMP AND TO TELL US THAT SHE CAN SINK TO THE LOWEST DEPTHS AND ALSO THAT WHETHER OR NOT JALAL HAS ANY CLUE ABOUT IT IS INSIGNIFICANT, HE WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING, AT LEAST FOR SOME TIME

AGAIN BHARMAL'S PREPARATION TO GO AND MEET THE EMPEROR WAS SO SO NON EXISTENT. HE STILL SEEMED TO BE LIVING IN A FOOL'S PARADISE. I AM SURE HE WOULD BE AWARE OF WHAT JALAL USUALLY DOES WITH THE ENEMY THAT HE CONQUERS. KEEPING THAT IN MIND, AT LEAST, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER PREPARED. ALL THIS GOING IN SECRET THRU A TUNNEL AND ALL DID NOT REALLY FILLME WITH ENTHUSIASM

MONDAY'S EPISODE 31 BECAME MY FAV COZ I SAW IT AFTER I READ YOUR ANALYSIS ON IT ON THE FAREWELL THREAD. AND I AWAIT YOUR TAKE ON IT, YET AGAIN 😉

Yes aunty tht was one of the few positive roles chetan did on tv, but mostly he is known for his negative roles. As per whether its jalal's plan or not im still in double minds. We all know sharif wanted jodha for himself so its a huge possibility tht it was his plan. Maybe jalal knew about the plan nd jalal liked it but he isn't involved there. On the other hand chugtai khan being the well wisher of both the parties wanted to have a middle way.

Hot air and vainglory:

To know whether Chutagi Khan was truly hand in glove with Akbar to manipulate Bharamal to give Jodha's hand to Jalal- i have my doubts that Chutagi Khan would do anything like this. I have my own reasons for this. Because like Chutagi Khan said Bharamal had saved his life in battle
Background history
This was a battle against Bahadur Shah where Sujamal's father and Humayun were involved together- yes in real history Humayun was friends with Purnamal the father of Sujamal long back before Bharamal ever appeared on the history map. Actually Bharamal was son of a secondary wife- low ranking wife of his father and was never in contention to become amer king ever. But Purnamal died in battle when sujamal was a year or two year old. Then Purnamal's younger brother became a king but his another younger brother killed him and became king. But this third brother was a cruel guy and so the citizens revolted and killed him and put Bharamal as caretaker of amer throne till Sujamal would be big enough to rule. But Bharamal started troubling Sujamal's mother and her life was under such threat that she ran with her small baby son to her brothers house and died there only. Bharamal upsured the throne himself and never allowed any contender in race to stay in amer. (Please read post on sujamal to know more details long back)
So Chutagi khan must have known purnamal and thru him must have met bharamal a low ranking prince then at war. Whatever the reason, he has now decided to help Bharamal meet Akbar to return favour of saving his life. So i am pretty sure Chutagi Khan has no idea of Akbar's intentions. Chutagi Khan actually was incharge of Kabul and was coming to meet Akbar in agra and hence akbar sends him a message that please meet me near ajmer. Chutagi Khan was no small person, he was a mughal, he was good friends with Humayun and much much elder to Akbar in age, for Akbar he is no small commander who must obey his orders, he is more like atagah and BK to Akbar than a common commander. So Chutagi has no hesitation to get bharamal and ask favours for him from jalal. So i do not see Akbar manipulating Chutagi Khan or Chutagi knowing jalal's love for jodha. For Chutagi Khan jodha must have been more of his daughter(or grand daughter like). So i doubt him knowing anything like this.
Now comes Sharifuddin and Akbar- I doubt Akbar has told Sharifuddin of his liking of Jodha because he has newly become his brother in law. Sharifuddin in age was atleast 10 years elder to Akbar, Bakshi was 3 years elder to Akbar. So Akbar discussing all these plans of his liking Jodha and wanting Sharif to play under hand to amer i doubt Akbar would do it. Sharifuddin intention was more to prove himself to Shahenshah to get promotions (before marriage to Bakshi) and second to earn some under hand extra money from amer by capturing their princes.
But to Akbar's luck all this took place and Bharamal came running to him to give jodha's hand to him.
In real history - Sharifuddin won the war and captured a brother, son and nephew of bharamal. Sharifuddin even supported Sujamal for amer throne and promised to get him his rightful throne. If sujamal had met akbar then no ways bharamal would have been king of amer because akbar never forget favours done to his father and would help purnamal's son not bharamal. In real history akbar was not crazy after jodha, nor he must have had any idea who was jodha till he married her. So Bharamal threw a master stroke and proposed jodha marriage to ensure his sons and he retain amer throne not sujamal and his heirs. What a master stroke played and here they potray this bharamal guy as bicahra etc he would give chanakya and shakuni a run for their money.
Jalal Adham and Maham
In real history Akbar was angry that Adham did not send the loot and elephants to him after winning malwa. He cared a damn for what happened to malwa people. Also the women being sent to harem were used by adham and when their sister threatened to complain he killed them. Yet one escaped and complained to akbar what was happening. So he set out to malwa.
Here they have shown that jalal was angry with the killing and torture of citizens and hence wanted to punish adham khan. Now what is adham and jalal age just 19 years old, at that age people think more of enjoying that moment than long term. That is what both did. Maham and her crocodile tears saved adham khan.
Maham what do i say of her, she is an expert actor in real life, she thinks something she says something else- more like todays politicians. She only sees her benefits in every word and action of her- how to develop her status in eyes of akbar and others, how to promote adham are her aims in life
Seizing the throne for adham may have been Maham's ambition from adham's birth - else why will 19 year olds get such ambitions? Only if a parent drills it into mind will they stick that too for a dumb witted adham khan who is all brawn and no brain. So i think it is maham who has drilled these ambitions into adham rather than adham pestering her for throne and more power(at such young age).
Just look out at majority famous persons - they all have been inspired by family or friends or their idol. So initially at least Maham mu8st have fuelled adhams ambition - look at akbar, one day you will be in his place etc
Akbar was 17 when BK was killed, he was 17 years when he married Salima begum. I doubt at 17 years Akbar shall take any action on Maham even if he knows she and adham are involved in BK death. Because he is still not ready to rule independently completely now, o he has to ignore these transgressions of the loyal badi ammi (loyal towards him as per him)
Jodha and Suryabhan
Jodha is young and she has just met suryabhan a few months back. Why do we expect her to grieve as if she knows suryabhan from ages? And love- actually she likes his brave rehotic against akbar not suryabhan per se. Love is something that takes time- first sight love is not truly love its attraction and lust. Because many people fall in love and marry only to separate. To fall in love you must know the person in and out, you just cannot go by his talks and looks and conclude about love. So here jodha is not in love with anyone really. Her father has chosen suryabhan and she is in love with this person who bravely says he shall get her jalal's head(which her family never dares say). So obivously her fan worship of suryabhan is great right now. Its not love at all.

In Maharana Pratap- Phool Kunwar taunts Hira Kunwari(Jodha here) that i pity how you did not jump in fire but married a mughal jallad. Hira says i did not expect a woman to speak like this of my sacrifice- what i did was to save my family, my people, my amer. And i am happy to know they are all safe and happy, so what if my dreams were broken and i was forced to marry a mughal.

This above statement very well sums up Jodha's current condition- she had no choice, her family was in danger, her brothers were hostage, her amer was in danger of annihlation. What she did was to save all of them? And instead of appreciating her sacrifice here the world is out saying this rajputh lady had no braveness to die hence married Akbar or wanted his riches etc which is pretty sadistic
Akbar and Adham Khan
I want to dwell on this relationship a bit- adham was a milk brother, a childhood friend of akbar. Now what do you expect akbar to do? Just go and kill adham in one stroke for atrocities? Will any of us do that with our best friend no matter how bad that too a childhood one?
Is it adhams fault or the way his parvarish was done? Was not akbar also similarly brought up being ruthless warrior? What saved him was that he had another family- bakshi, hamida, atagah, jiji anga, ruqaiah, salima and later jodha etc to guide him to correct path from time to time. And akbar himself had a inner urge to change to become better as he grew, to mature.
Adham never got that opportunity - his circle was filled with cruel, cunning, manipulative people who advised him wrongly, who instiagted him wrongly. Adham never had an inner urge to be better, to grow to change as his mother was his idol - she thought him cruelty, manipulation, lies etc so how could he change? It was an uphill task even if he wanted too his mom would never allow him to change.
Compare that with akbar- hamida going to salim chisti to pray that her son changes and prayer has powerful results, atagah who corrects him from time to time, bakshi, ruqaiah, salima who guide him correctly and make him aware of his wrongs(wrt to maham, adham etc) and jodha who changes his view about a king duties.
