^^ Jalal had grudge towards HB...hate is too strong a word to use ...two instances were shown , which showed his grudge towards his mother... But he always respected her and showed it publicly too ...I still remember the pride with which he took Jodha to his mother...he wouldn't have trusted his mother over MA, knowing fully well latter doesn't like his Hindu Queen and she would've fit in perfectly in his scheming ...compare him to THIS Salim , given the most insolent dialogues to utter, reserved for his parents. 😡

Both the actor and the poorly written character are responsible its a 50-50 blame

Firstly the character makes no sense, he is beyond selfish listens to only what he wants to and is very easily influenced, he cannot think on his own just does whatever others tell him, his hatred for his parents makes absolutely no sense, and his love for anarkali is funny, he hated her and then suddenly he loves her and wants to become the shahenshah only to make her meh 😳 he refuses the waliehed post but wants to become the shah shah only for anar 👎🏼

Now coming to the actor, he just cannot emote and kind of feeling, even if the character is very bad the actor can work wonders to make it likeable but here already the character is weak and on top of that the actor makes it more difficult for the viewers🥱

Change the actor if they want the audience to connect with salim on some level🥱

There is no comparison between young jalal n salim's character, i used to watch this show from very beginning from 1st episode i have never scene jalal hated hb that much or insulted his mother he only was upset with her as he was left alone with mm n i think only one scene till date shown when he shown upset with his mother when she came to meet her than after never shown any grudges between them on the contrary during jodha's fake pregnancy track hb took jodha's side n slap her own son but he never react nor uttered a single word even though hevwas shahensha n beaten by mom in front of all ladies of the family. And this guy salim leave it!

I don't like salim for many reasons. but the first and the foremost reason is that he is a bad looking, bad acting and bad dilalog delivery person.

His looks specially the hair around his face is so ugly.

I only want to tell the following thing in short about REEL Salim's character not looks..

Utter Disregard for his father. No matter what, a son should NOT go to the extent of shouting in front of his father. Or, calling his marriage with his mother "Najayez". Not only this, he said the same to his mother today. He refers her mother by her names and titles but calls Ruqs who fed him Afeem as his Ammi Jaan. Brain is something which has NOT been planted while writing the character. Right from childhood, his character is written horribly. Remember, he spoke a lie and got Salima Begum in trouble for the afeeming case. A person who knows i am NO GOOD EITHER and is a lier too, keeps raising his fingers on others. His problem is that, he lives for HIMself , thinks for HIMself , professes right and wrong as per his convenience. First he wanted to get the Wali-Ahad title for his aawam's khidmat, and now he wants it for Anarkali. Has he gone bonkers when he repeatedly said i want the Shah Shah Khitaab for making Anar the next MEH.! Doesn't he know what non-sense he is speaking about.

My lament is more when i compare him with the REAL one. Though, he rebelled, BUT NEVER he opened his mouth in front of his father. Infact, he had no choice , he could not open his mouth. He respected his mother and put her next to God. Here he is opposite, he disrespects his father and his conduct towards his mother is just opposite of what it was..

This Salim of JA is no where close to that..

i agree with you , why these salim disrespect to his parents, he is the son that jodha and jalal get after so many pain they must endured and jalal must walk thousand miles to finally held his salim, even jalal very hard on salim but he is a king and he must do justice, what salim do if he is in jalal shoes, he really doesnt respect his mother who carried him for 9 month alone and having long and difficult labour.

salim are too much self center, he doesnt think bout other people all he care just anarkali, what anarkali give him so far ?, what anarkali do so far that she deserve to be queen or malika e hind ?, his amijan must goin through lot to reward the title malika e hind and that too not because she is ask for it, and salim must stop selft pity because a lot people more suffer then him but they still strong

in JA SALIM ischaracter is like this -

whether he did right or wrong all should accept , support him

whatever he wants they hv to provide and accept it doesn't matter for him whether that is good or bad

i read in some posts that as a parents jo jl at fault but i didn't find any wrong in jo ji because jo jl not only mom dad but also king and queen too they have responsibilities towards others too . for ex-

1)boy hitting case directly came to court 1st jl didn't believe and accept her then jl asked sa but he lied here alsojl trusted sa after anar statement and observing that old lady needs jl gave that panishment. as a child expecting help support from parents is not wrong but for certain things parents also can't help because they have to see others too.ex- if a father is police or judge son very well know his duties because since childhood he has been seeing his father duties same thing applied to sa too.here u can ask asa parent u didnt give that confidence in u r son to share everything but whether u close to ur parents or not if u did any thing wrong u will not tell any thing to them . if parents knew before they will go any level to save their son like jl jo did in kabela track.

For me I have no hatred for this Salim so far as I feel as Parents JJ also failed.

Also if we look at the younger Jalal, he was also very attached to Mamanga and blindly believed her, Ruks and insulted HB, his own mother, on many many occasions. That said we did not hate Jalal so much in those days. Now, I think our love for Jalal and Jodha is also another reason for hating Salim as we cant stand someone insulting our loved ones.

But I dislike Salim for reasons like
1. Calling Jodha as MUZ, Ruks as Ammijaan
2. He sympathizes with himself and forgets to see anything beyond him.
3. Not able to connect with this Salim yet, I feel Ravi as an actor has a long way to go.
4. Leap was one of the issues as we all were not ready for it.

And at the start , Jalal's relationship with HB too was cold ... But then he held Respect to her decisions as MM , we even saw him accepting her decision to give time to prove Jo's stance in case of Ruqu's MC track !!!

But this Salim n his characterisation , is simply getting onto everyone nerves i must say 😡

salim steps brother are more like sons to jodha, remember how murad daniyal aram bano and khannum try to make jodha laugh by trick her to said jalal had another woman instead its just a horse, these kids loving jodha more than her own son, what salim had done for jodha so far ? he just giving jodha tears and heartbreaking, i just wish cv not make jodha weak like this, i miss strong jodha who fight and challenge a hindustan shahenshah, who with brave said hate to king face, who with fearless fight with abu mali, who with lioness spirit lead woman in harem in war, who with strong will giving birth to her kids without jalal by her side, who with dignity give up mariam uz zamani titel to prove man singh innocence, who with smile still make joke bout death just to make his belove husband not worry . . . where this brave fearless and strong jodha gone ?, jodha should take his masa act towards her kids, eventhough mainawati loves her kids but she can hard to her kids if it needs ... cv really like to torture JA/AKDHA fans . . . ya Allah bless my soul 😆😆
