Let's Talk About Why We Dislike Salim-DT NT Pg6 - Page 2

from my personal pov its the character salim itself that i dont like and i must blame it to cv to make salim like this, personally i dont have problem when they decide to take leap but too bad they butcher salim character, its seems like cv want to make jodha jalal suffer so they give them this unreasonable salim, if they make salim character more likeable from the start and create good story this wont happened, its seem like cv try to make second jodha akbar with salim anar, remember when young jalal hate hamida and blindly love maham anga now same happen to salim, and of course who will forget how jalal fall for jodha the first time he meet her then hate her then love her and now salim fall the same track too, if they make salim anar with different story and give equal scene between jodha akbar and salim anarkali may be people wont runaway from this show, i mean come one even the title this show is jodha akbar so how can people keep watching it when salim anar dominate the screen ( i keep watching it for my parijat esp pari )

now bout ravi i must admit he must learn a lot cause i feel sth off in his acting, specially his facial expression, when it come to emotional scene with rajat or paridhi the differences too huge, rajat and paridhi tandem too powerfull for ravi to handle, only good actor with amazing acting skill who can catch up with rajat paridhi, these two are the best in emotional scene so if the co star act average these two amazing talent with eat him/her alive 😉😃

i dont have personal issue with ravi just hope he will improve his acting skill, even actor who play murad and qutub better then him , and i dont know why it just me or not but when i see paridhi ravi / jodha salim eventhough jodha looks young then her son but i get the vibe motherhood from jodha even i feel nothing from salim, but when it comes to salim ruk i feel like they are husband and wife😆😆 not bari ammi and son, jodha and ruk are mother to salim but i get two differences vibe from them hahahaha

I find both the character and actor unimpressive. Forgetting that he is a son of a great emperor his lack of judgement ,trust in his parents makes him annoying he is ready to listen false tales by all near whether on parents Anar etc. A child usually observes his parents behavior and learns some traits if not all. The C Vs have made him a weak character telling false things, bragging and not wanting to take responsibility.Though later they have improved his character but again they keep swaying his character so when I start thinking he is OK again he switches back to his bad qualities.

though down south we have a saying that nothing grows under a Banyan tree (meaning A son of a great man cant grow gr88) but at least the way he sees his parents behavior help him absorb some good traits.

First and formost I think is the actor is not appealing for the particular character, so no one want to think further about character or story-line

I would like to say one thing , The REAL FACT was we loved JODHA n AKBAR - The MOST 😳 So we were shattered to hear the Announcement of Leap and SA taking the CENTER STAGE That was the MAIN REASON ( or atleast i think so 😕) , where the majority of Masses Disliked the VERY ENTRANCE of SALIM (BIG ONE 😆) ...

The NEXT reason was >>> The CHOICE of SALIM ACTOR , As said by a forum member in her POST in this thread

People couldnt connect him with DASHING RAJAT 😊 in anyway !!! AND he being portrayed as , ALWAYS manipulated by everyone ( say Ruqu , haider n whoever not 🤢)

And being IRRESPECTABLE towards his PARENTS 😡 ( ESPECIALLY calling JO as MUZ n Ruqu as AMMIJAAN ) ... Altogether , it's the poor characterisation of SALIM in the show ( or may be selection of actor too ) that's y we hate to see salim

And about his REDEMPTION , I dont know whether it will ever happen ?? 🤔 Whatever he does , we cant forget his deeds RIGHT from his INCEPTION in this show 🤓 And with this CVs , I doubt it BIG TIME 😆

For me I have no hatred for this Salim so far as I feel as Parents JJ also failed.

Also if we look at the younger Jalal, he was also very attached to Mamanga and blindly believed her, Ruks and insulted HB, his own mother, on many many occasions. That said we did not hate Jalal so much in those days. Now, I think our love for Jalal and Jodha is also another reason for hating Salim as we cant stand someone insulting our loved ones.

But I dislike Salim for reasons like
1. Calling Jodha as MUZ, Ruks as Ammijaan
2. He sympathizes with himself and forgets to see anything beyond him.
3. Not able to connect with this Salim yet, I feel Ravi as an actor has a long way to go.
4. Leap was one of the issues as we all were not ready for it.

first of all as all said we can't coonect with him as we did with rajat .

When jalal hated hb and believed ma blindly he had reasons. He knew ma risked her life to save his. And protected him throughout. His own parents were nowhere near. But Ruqaiya hasn't done anything so special.And Jodha and Jalal were always there for him and tried to explain things to him. it was salim who has always refused to see reason.
