CHAPTER 4
A few hours pass Jalal is thinking how to go meet Jodha he is again at the same place where they would practice sword fight together he hears her voice (Jodha is there also practicing sword fight) "Daatabhia " (he looks around & she here in warrior outfit practicing there)
Flashback Starts
(Jodha questions with athourity) aap yahain kya kar rehe hai aur aap koun hai yeh humar talwarbaazi abhayas karne ka staan hai (Jalal ignores & countinues practice but Khan Baba who was with him look at the source of voice with anger and see Rajput princess there (Jalal without looking) Aap aandhi hai dekh nahi sakte hum shamsherbaazi ka riaaz kar rehe hai aap ko khain aati hogi aur hum Mughal shahzade hai,(looking @ Khan Baba)inhe yahain se jaane ko khediye. (Jodha with a smrik says) yehi toh kathanie aap jaiso ke aap Rajput kanyaon ke bal se aperichit ho aur nahi hi aap loog metarta karna jaante hai.(this is the the problem with you people you don't know the strength of Rajput girls and nor you know how to do friendship)
Jalal looking @ Khan Baba say) yehi hai koun. (Jodha looking @ Khan Baba asks) Kakasa yehi saach mein andhe hai kya inhe dekhta nahi HUM AMER KI RAJKUMARI hai. (Jalal looks up and see a very beautiful girl standing there in royal Rajput attire. Jodha looks in his eyes) Hum aapko chonoti dete hai humse talwarbaazi mein jeet ke bateiye shahzade. (She wins sword fight. That impresses both Jalal and Khan Baba. She see he is hurt she goes and get first aid and tells him to put.(Jodha says) Veerta pida chupane mein nahi uspar ashudhi lagakar uase sekhne se hai kyoun kakasa hum dekh kahe rahe hai" (Khan Baba with a smile says) aap saahi hai Rajkumari, hum aapko ek raas ki baat batie hai magar aap ko hum vaada karna hoga ki aap yehi kisoko nahi baateigi." (Jodha says) Vase toh hum jaante hai aap yahain AMER mein pahane liayein hoga ho magar aur koi baat hai toh hum vaachan deta hai ke hum kisiko nahi bataiyege.(Khan Baba with superise says) aap jante yehi koun hai yehi SHAHZADE JALAL hai" (Jalal says) Aap humse se dosti karagi." (Jodha mumbles under her breath with a winning smrik) aab aaya uthe phara ke neech, aab hume chalna hoga hum aapko kal soch ke bataiyege.
NEXT DAY
(Jodha comes back for practice. Jalal asks) aap hum aapna naam toh bataiye Shahzadi (Jodha replies) Hum sab Rajkumari hi bulate hai.(Jalal realised friendship is far an aim she is not ready tell her name he looked at Khan Baba for help.Khan Baba with a smile says) aap ko aapke khandan mein sab Rajkumari bulate hai." (Jodha says) nahi! humare bade, bhia bhen aur humre metare hume humre naam se bolate hai aur kakasa aap hum se bade hai isiliye aap hume humare naam se bolege Jodha kaval Jodha Rajakumari nahi (Khan Baba by that time realised this relationship is going to be a life long in other words Jalal was the future king of Hindustan & she was his equal in all senses & the absolute sense and the queen Jalal should have & says) aap bhahute aache hai margar hum aapko Shahzadi bolege. (Jalal jumps in the conversation & asks) aap ne humra aur aapki dosti ke bare mein kya socha (Jodha replies) Shahzade hum aap se miterta karenge (Jalal was very happy in his happiness he hugging her says) Shukriya Rajkumari"
Flashback Ends
(Jodha see Suryabhan and turns towards the other side & say) "what are you doing here Suryabhan you are not allowed here onlypeople I want can come here this my personal property & anyways my practice is over. (Sujamal says) we all were proceeding to the place. (Jodha says) Daatabhia I want to stay back here alone for some time. (Jai says) Jodha I have something for you come back fast you know what's today (All of them leave. Jodha is all alone she thinks aloud) shahzade today is Raksha Bandhan'and she smile with tears in her eyes, Jalal is listening to this.
Flashback starts
(Jodha & Jalal have just finished practise & Abdul has walked in. Jodha looking at Abdul & says) "jaante hai aaj raksha bandhan shahzade, toh hum soch rehe tha ki hum aapke dost Abdul ko bhi rakhi bandhe. (Abdul says) kyun nahi shahzadi bhandhiye nahi. (Jodha performs all retiuals and after teing him Rakhi hugs him in jealousy & anger Jalal throws the aarti thal down and Jodha to him and hugs her. She pushes him away with tears in her eyes bents down to pick up the thal. Seeing tears in her eyes Jalal helps her. She walks away. Khan baba is watching this from behind he comes there in front of Jodha.(Jodha says) kakasa aap (she composes herself) Pranam (Khan baba says) aapne Abdul ko rakhi bandhi shahzadi toh unhe aap ko tofa dena chiye? Toh ligiye (Jodha smiles) kuch din pehele Jalal aap ke liyea lai the (She throws it down and walk away, Jalal tries to stop her but does not succeed, Jalal is confused says) hum ne kya galat kiya Khan Baba (Khan Baba smiling says) kuch nahi Jalal sarif itna hi ki aap yehi samjh nahi payi ke woh kya kar rahi thi woh iss dosti ko aur pakka kar rahe thi. (Jalal says) malab hum samjhe nahi" (Khan Baba smiling says) woh toh aapke apno ko aapnane ke koshish kar rehi thi aapke dost ko aapna bhai banna rahi thie (Few days pass Jodha did not come Jalal was extreme desperate by now.Jodha finally came and simply said lets do sword fight they finished and she went from there without a word. Jalal was happy with the fact she at least came. Next few days she did not come at all. Jalal had a lot. Few days she did same thing happened she did not talk at all. Jalal started a conversation. Jalal asks) aapke liye dosti ka kya malab hai (Jodha replies) aapse samajh aur vishvaash. (I have to leave shahzade and leaves. Jalal takes out his khanjar and cuts his wrist and she see this she come to him says what are you doing. Jalal says you have go you go it my blood let it flow. Jodha says) you are mad. (Jalal says) aaj yehi jo zakham hai ya hume zendigi bhar anjoor banke choobhiga ki hum aapne dosti nahi nebha paaiye ya yehi hume dosti ka sabbout hai aur hum iss aapne seene se nahi hate zindagi bhar aab aap par aap hum pe aur humare dosti samajh paaiye aur yakin kar paayi hai ki nahi."(Jodha with tears in eyes says) shahzade aase mat kijiye hum aap par aur aapki dosti par pura vishvaash hai. Paritu aap galat kiya hum kaval Abdul ko rakhi bandh rehe the. ( Jalal hugging her says) " aap unhe galay lagi thi aur ha uuse baat hume bhute gussa aya aur jalan hovi. (Jalal hugging her tightly & says) stop crying I can't see tears in your eyes.
Flashback Ends.
Jodha goes back to the palace. Jalal is still there smiling. From behind Abdul & Adhka Sahaab come, Jalal see them. Abdul say Jalal you know what is today , today is ... Both say together Raksha bandhan & smile (Abdul asks) should I go and meet Jodha and tell her you are here, before Jalal could say any thing Adka Sahaab says where were you all night (Abdul) did you find Jodha, did you meet her, why are you smiling you have found a treasure. Jalal says to Adhka Sahaab I rest yesterday evening after returning from river side now I need to find a way to meet Jodha only after that I will at peace to rest (to Abdul) yes I found what I came here for she remember me and not only she is been wating for my return, she still loves me and she is being forced to marry Suryabhan because of Mughal war threat only it is simple political matrimonal alliance and nothing else. You talk to her. No I heard her sleep talk in our hide out, she was dreaming about me while sleeping. Let's go back and think what to do next. They proceed back to where they are staying. Jalal while eating brakefast tells Abdul to disguise himself as a Rajput soldier and go to the place. In the palace fastivities are on in the day Abdul is there observing everything by evening Abdul returns and find Jalal sleeping.
