I am not able to get Ruqs logic. She can give the Kid to Khwaja Shera and Zeenat but not to Jodha.
Also, we were right in thinking that Ruqs has been drugged.
Now, Kid goes to Jodha, and Zeenat is here also...

Will Ruqs again blame Jodha.?. That is obvious. One thing which is clear is that, Salima Begum also saw Zeenat's burnt finger. That is for a specific reason. We know anyways, Jalal is present with her. And Zeenat would be caught. We all know that Hussain won't survive, so let us NOT spoil the weekend thinking what will happen to Jodha. Temptation may be there but it has to be overcome. That is a sign of maturity. I feel we all agree Jalal has grown a lot since he manhandled Jodha in the Sujamal track.

Jalal would have stopped short even if Ruq hadn't choked. Reason being his awareness that he was responsible for much of what Ruq is today. He kept indulging her whims and fancies, overlooking her misdemeanors and tolerating her despicable behavior towards Jodha. She has therefore become desensitized to others' pain / suffering and lost the link to her conscience that would have told her right from wrong.

Charu, I fully agree with what you have written about Ruqaiyya. Physical punishment will not work for her. Then what would be befitting punishment for her when her reality comes out in the open? Jalal may choose ostracization. She may be excluded from social contact with anyone and forced to live in isolation so that she may learn the value of social relationships.

Pls do write your analysis of Ruqaiyya's psyche. I would love to read it and share my views. You can see Abhay's and my (old) views here on this subject: 😊

PS: Why did Ruq choke? She was so emotionally wrought that she started coughing / choking and was unable to speak. Happens when we are extremely angry or emotional about something and screaming our lungs out. 😊 No need for any drugs or forced Natak here 😛

Why sometime it seems that life's happening is unfair? All our life we never once done anything to anyone including animals that hurts or pain them. Not at least consciously. More than being just, God is compassionate. We are only made to face what we can withstand. And young souls(like ruks and Maham) are forgiven for now coz they just cannot withstand it. Jodha is very matured person and she to must made some bad karma which must be resolved now and it is destined that way. As much as god love to test his best devotee be also makes sure the devotee does not fail. Here Jodha and Jalal are blessed to have each other to across this depressing time.

One more thing, why Ruks is like this. How can kindness, selflessness, humanity, love and many other good qualities are absent in her. As I said earlier she is young, not matured will be more appropriate. Expecting Ruks having the above qualities is like asking a 7 year old to solve algebra maths problem. She will evolve based on her own speed and it take time, might be some life cycle. This way I could not hate her and I don't harbor any kind of feeling for her. The best is ignore her.

By the way, in yesterdays epi where ameris where getting insulted, see Bharmal's reaction towards ruks, its like seeing an alien or something.

About Jalal's silent, for me I forgive him this time around. He is exhausted and seems like lost all energy. To shout and silence ruks, he needed to be angry but I guess he is still very hurt and the pain might have supersedes anger. But precap suggest that Ruks finally touched the limit line. I'm not upset on Jalal for helping Ruks. Its an instinctive reaction when someone is sick. I still think there is more that meet the eye regarding ruks actions.

Jodha is angry with khana, true but she have not stop believing in god. in the scene after jalal gone to check on Hussein, she subconsciously prayed to ishwar to protect her child.

Akka...this track is very emotionally draining. Past memories that I thought I have buried actually still there as fresh as if it happen yesterday. This track just brought back them and I'm still dealing with it.

Akka...regarding islamic finance, I will pm u, now only he started with introduction.

Sorry to come in. But I'm deeply moved by your post . The way you have putforth the purpose of life could make a nonbeliever into a believer . Loved your entire post and lines in bold are exceptional.I don't know if it is a coincidence or what but these last two days whenever i thought of penning down some thought especially here i see a reflection of it done before ,but even if i have tried i wouldn't have been able to put it as elegantly as you have done and i applaud you for that👏
i don't know if i believe in cycles of life but yes i do believe in phases of soul and like you put
life is a continuous battle within oneself to attain a state of nirvana where you realize you could never truly own anything but our deeds may leave a mark which makes us immortal in the hearts of others and for me i see it as jalal and jo are in these final phases before attaining the enlightenment.Thanks once again for this beautiful post.

Thanks for the post.You have summed it all .Line in Blue i think the reason is ruq see child as a proprietary a mean to attain her goal and not as a precious little life. For her zeenat or kwaja shera are like her employees who would just work for the money given and never think of a claim to the properietary .But with jo the stakes are different ,she can at anytime raise a claim and this is what is bothering her.But little did she understand motherliness is consider the purest thing in the world as it based on true selflessness.A mother would never try to own a child but rather attain her happiness from child's happiness.By not taking the childs feeling into account how could she ever be able to own it. Will the child not one day truly hate her when it comes to know of her intentions like maham. But if ruq was able to understand this all she would never have been what she is now.
