Coming to yesterday's epi

Loved your posts and Abhay's too. Abhay you're right in saying that Ruk never evolved. She had the chance to but she chose not to take it. She was so high on her audha-obsession by then that nothing else mattered to her. Not even Jalal, her bachpan ka dost. This shone in almost every track.

Even during the divorce case, though her breakdown touched me(maybe coz the dialogues were so apt) but then also it was all about her audha that she'll end up losing if the divorce took place. Whereas Jalal was pained by the mere thought of having to divorce her. She didn't give any importance to the love and care her family showered on her.

The episode was again very beautiful. Subtle in all its emotions. Jodha's venting out her frustration on her Kanha was justified i think for we do tend to question our God when we see that we are being dealt in an unjustified manner. The way then she ran to Hussein on hearing him cry, consoled him,fed him and then put him to sleep not ready to let go was painful to watch for it brought fore the fact that she had turned hollow from inside after having lost Hassan. Being with Hussein made her wholesome again for some time atleast before Ruk so insensitively snatched him from her. The expression on her face was so bleak and lifeless then as if she had lost her child all over again. She had given birth to 2 beautiful sons but was now bereft of both. Ruk was so mean. Jodha had given her child to Ruk,given her a reason to live. Shouldn't Ruk do the same for some time atleast? She should have tried to understand Jodha's pain at this time and given Hussein to Jodha herself. but who are we fooling here?

I loved Jalal-HB scene. It was a welcome change to see the mother-son bond in this time of grief. I had mentioned in my last post that Jalal needed to let go of his pent-up sadness soon and i liked it when his mother came to him and asked him to pull the lid from his emotions and let go of his grief. She asked him to relieve his heart from the burden of apin in his mother's arms.Very beautiful. He needed to stay strong for his wife and couldn't see her in pain. It really touched me when he said he was the Shehenshah Jalal-ud-din Mohommad who used to write his destiny with his mighty shamsheer but couldn't do so this time around. When it came to saving the life of his son he was as helpless as any other man on earth. All the power that he had was of no use.He was helpless infront of God.

You're right in saying that Ruk had already decided to refuse giving Hussein if the situation arose. That's why when Jalal came and asked for Hussein she refused him point blank. Though i didn't like to see him begging for 'his own baby' but that didn't make him look small either. It just showed how much he loved his Jodha. He was ready to put aside his self-respect, his position as an emperor, his word and everything else to beg Ruk for the child so he could give some peace to Jodha even if it was for some time. Wanted to give her a reason to live. But that woman refused. For a moment I did feel that she really loved the baby and couldn't bear to away from him. but we love to hate her. She has made a mockery of a beautiful relation like friendship i feel.

Another scene i loved was the sindoor scene. He said it didn't matter if she wore any jewellery but she had to wear the sindoor for him and went on to fill her mang. It brought home the fact that she had to live for him like he was living for her taking into account that he said he can't get through his day without looking at her once. the eye lock that followed spoke volumes. Very poignant indeed.

Loved how he was supporting her when he broke the sad news to the new arrivals giving her the strength as she faced the reality again.

I am quite intrigued by the arrival of Raja Bharmal and Dadisa. Let's see what role they have to play in this track. Though I would like to mention I didn't like the way this happened. How come they both came to Jodha's room directly unaware of what had happened? Granted they came without informing but once they had reached I am sure word must have been sent to HB and Maan Singh atleast so how come nobody came to greet them and told them the truth. This could have avoided them getting to know about Hassan's demise infront of the already shattered parents. How come they made their way straight to the harem?😕

Here my heart also goes out to baby Hussein who has been reduced to a mere parcel in the game of pass the parcel. He is gonna follow his brother very soon and look at what's happening. Pathetic. This isn't how babies are treated. This baby sharing thing is anyways very disgusting.

Amidst all the NR which we are fed up of, i am pretty sure, the scenes we saw today must have been replicated in the Fort of Agra .!!!

Didn't we all feel a Tsunami of Humanistic Feelings.?.
Didn't we all get all those emotionS one could think of, in such a setting.?.

^^^^^^ These lines "be-jewel" the capability of Shahenshah-e-Hind Jalal-ud-din Mohammed Akbar...Can we think of the man who had the ENTIRE Hindustan at HIS Feet, but was helpless.?. The Man who Proclaimed that he can write(and he DID) the destiny with HIS Sword, was a spectator before the Decree of God..!!!.


Coming to Jodha. She was so much broken today, that she even said, why God took Hasan and why not her.?. I can not think of better lines by Ghalib , to describe this moment :>

Can we imagine the plight of Akbar - HK.?.
How it feels for a father to carry his "ANSH" {as Jodha says it}, to the graveyard.?.
The face of Jodha and Akbar displayed a 1000 shades today, each more subtle than the other.

Only people who are capable of loving strongly can suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them. Today Jalal was playing the same role for Jodha. Having said this, i also want to add that, the grief always remains there.. It has been said time heals all wounds. I differ a bit here.. The wounds remain. In time, the mind protecting it's sanity covers them and the pain lessens, but it's never gone."

"Agar kuch hota hai to woh yeh ki, Waqt ke saath us dukh ki "Kashish" "kam" ho jaati hai, par wo "kashish" kabhi "khatm" nahi hoti, woh kayamat tak aapke saath rehti hai.". We can wipe the tears from our eyes, but we can not wipe the pain from our heart.

I admit that i do not shed tears easily, but this episode brought me "almost on the verge" of shedding them. The scene looked so original. It was "saddingly ethereal" . I agree with you that neither can we compare the grief of the parents nor can we say who suffered more..When your fear touches someone's pain, it becomes pity, when your love touches someone's pain, it become compassion..

Did we notice this today.?. Did we notice Jalal's Love being converting into compassion for Jodha. He was very much present with her so that she no longer wrestles with the grief, but could sit down with it as a lasting companion(Jalal) and make it a sharer in her thoughts.

They say that the darkest night produces the brightest stars. In my view, the story becomes EPIC by such poignant display of emotions. I have heard that even a hundredfold grief is divisible by love.

Your partner complements you. While Jodha was with Jalal as his pillar, after he was broken hearing MA's crude words to THEIR unborn sons. Today, it was Jalal who played the same role for Jodha. Tears shed for someone are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign of a pure heart. Jalal and Jodha BOTH have went through the phase.

What can i say about Jalal. The "MAN" in him was very much present there, as a shield for Jodha. Apart from this i would request all not to judge the bereaved mother today. She lost the most beautiful thing she could keep in her heart.

AkDha were truly each other's support yesterday. Jalal controlled himself and gathered strength just to console Jodha, who was beyond consolation. He quietly sobbed with her and held her close. He was careful to not leave her alone and conscious of her grief more than his own. He was the pillar of reason yesterday. Abhay, you have described their plight so well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are some moments in life when you wonder if it is worth going on, but those moments are also a gauge of your true strength. Yesterday we saw that in abundance as Akbar and Hira Kunwari, gave us a glimpse of the depths of despair and hopelessness but also the strength they gave each other with their presence.

Did I say Akbar and Hira Kunwari, Sorry! I should say Rajat and Paridhi, but that is how good they were yesterday. A masterly performance that will be remembered. Both are ready for the big stage. After this serial ends I expect both to make a try at movies and succeed.

As for the serial, we can expect Ruqaiya to show her colours now. I expect more smirks from Ruqs and more insults and torture for Jodha ahead, culminating in the horror of another death. This phase could take a week or two. We will have to endure.

I am giving a common reply. Due to some issues i can not quote/reply individually to all of you. Thank you everyone for giving your views on the posts here... This is the most difficult time for Jodha Akbar, after Hasan's demise. In such a condition, no one else, BUT THEY THEMSELVES can console each other..The Worst is still to come.!!. And, we know they have to move on from here..I am hopeful that the CV's will show this journey SLOWLY without any jump...

I m largely disappointed on Jalal in last nite epi. His continuosly tolerant of ruq's unsustainable malicious behavior has been made him timid husband of ruq. Amer family is none of outer ppl rather is his in laws family where 2 eldest persons of amer family were reprimanded by ruq but jalal was quite silent as if he stood there like a statue. Jalal excused before them even he had no r8 on Hussain hence he enabled to say anything to ruq but atleast as emperor of MS, he could have halted on ruq's misbehavior with his sasur n dadi saas n ordered ruq to give Hussain in their laps. These 2 persons have come in agra crossing a long journey just to see the face of their grandsons but coming in agra 1st they heard Hasan died then they could have rejoiced to keep Hussain in their laps that wasn't in their fate. Poor Bharmal n Dadi sa. I won't blame Hb n Sb not to say anything to Ruq as Jalal has many times more r8 on ruq than them where ever jalal has no courage to stop ruq's continuous disobedience,utter nonsence behavior there whats big can b done by hb n sb?
I pity for jalal waqt kitna gujaar gayi,kitna sarai worse experience hai oska ruq kai saat despite these all still he considers ruq as his frnd, yet he easily is fallen in any kind of pretence of ruq. I pity on jalal that he today also gives value his relationship with ruq,believes on ruq but ruq doesn't give him 2 paisa's value rather uses him continuosly for her own self.

I missed those initial few minutes, and i started to see the episode when Dadi was asking Hussain. I did not like that attitude of Ruqs and Jalal was quiet(i agree). This behavior is now repetitive, and only solace will be when the track ends. Your points are valid. Infact, before Ruqayya everyone in Agra seems quiet. ;p

abhay, thanx for agreeing with me. I won't ever blame anyone for pampering in 1st place where as nobody has gut to speak before ruq b/c ruq's exaggeration audacity has been made for one n only jalal. He never contradicted ruq's misbehavior now water flows over river hence jalal has no gut to control it. Despite getting thousand times insult frm ruq, jo never gives over turn ans to ruq for herself b/c jo extremely respects ruq as his husband's 1st wife hence ja should have stood against ruq so as to his in laws family wasn't gotten insult by ruq.
