Rukayya doesn't love jalal she loves her power only... Can anyone badmouth abt her bestfrn infornt of others,?? She did that... Did jalal ever insult in public ? Did he ever told badly to others abt her?? No... This is wat rukayya and her evil ness...her evil face is well seen wen jalal came to her aftr DEK thinking she must b upset but she is full dramebaazi and gave ullu banaying look to jalal aftr he left as if he has fallen for her crocodile tears...

These r related to jalal but with others she was more horrible.. With jo wat has not she done?? She humilated jo in DEK, privately, almost took moti life, witness of bandhi death, moorthikhand sujamal track blunders,, slapping and kicking bandhis as if those were lifeless objects...

Which King wud spend time with wife knwing that she wil neve give him heir?? Thinking practically no king wud spend... She is given importance only bcz she is hindal daughter

Btw we cannot rely on the CVs portrayal to decide how these people were. According to CVs even Jodha and JAlal are dumb. Ruq was quite well educated. It was told in one episode that Ruq was well educated and promised to always be with Jalal as he was not educated and so needed someone trustworthy to read imp court documents.

The point I want to underscore is that love is blind. You do not look at a person's qualities and decide whether you want to love them or not. You fall in love without any conscious thought. For Jalal, trust was always important, surrounded as he was by untrustworthy people. He trusted Ruq with his life and to be fair to her, despite her rudeness and auda-consciousness, till Jodha entered Jalal's life, Ruq was extremely loyal to him. He knew that despite her failings, she would not betray him and he could be his real self with her. He could shake off his royal duties and responsibilities and be a carefree child again with her.

Even now, he is tied to her by unseen bonds that we cannot fathom. But we have to understand that love cannot be killed by a few wrongdoings on the part of a lover. Love is patient and forgiving and ever hopeful.

Jalal continues to believe that Ruq being his best friend since childhood understands him and would never betray his faith in her. Ruq, I would say, loves him in her own quirky way, not as we expect a woman to love a man, but she is attached to him and she does somewhere unconsciously crave for his attention, though she does not try to do anything to earn his attention or love.

As for giving advice, which wife would pass up a chance to advice her husband on any issue, esp if the husband happens to be a powerful emperor? It is a different matter altogether whether he accepts it or not. 😆

PS: I know a lot of friends are going to hate this post esp now since we are unable to tolerate RUq in the present twins' demise track. But you asked about earlier times and I have replied accordingly to the best of my humble understanding. This does not in any way mean I support her or condone her. I just tried to look at her from Jalal's eyes. 😊

Rukaiyya got the title of BEK not because she deserved it but only because she was Jalal's first khandani mughal biwi . Until he got to know Jodha better and fell in love with her kindness , fearlessness , inner strength and all other hunars , he too was quite similar to Rukaiyya in personality . So I guess he never saw anything negative about her . It was Jodha who was instrumental in bringing positive changes in Jalal . The khandaani mughal makes Ruq the BEK obviously. No other reason justifies her claim to this title. She might be khaas in name but Jalal's real khaas is Jodha and at the end of the day that is more important. His bond and loyalty he feels for Ruqaiya, makes him take whatever she throws a him. Whether it a stupid plot or insults, he takes just because she is family and was once his so-called pillar of strength. She never advised him to think beyond MA and BK when she could have. She was just happy being BEK. Didn't think of Jalal at all and left him at the hands of poisonous people like MA. She knew MA's true face (atleast partially) but still didn't care. Is that what friends do?

Trust you to bring a different understanding to a complex situation and pen it down so beautifully. The reason you gave can be the only which completely explains Jalal's unfailing trust in her and her rise to the top. Since he had no one else, he gave such titles and reserved his loyalty for her.

The love i see in Jalal for her, is the friendship wala love. It is the friendship which has stopped Jalal from outing her. It is this friendship which saves her from difficult situations. It is this friendship which lets her get away with anything. But how long will it?

At some point Jalal will open his eyes and see the true her. Or he knows about it and prefers to ignore it?

Ruqaiya can have her good points but it is her evil intentions and selfishness that has come to define her. Everyone is a good person in normal circumstances, it is their actions in times of tension that separates the better from the worse.

Nobody denies the connection between Jalal and Ruqaiya. But we have come to loathe it instead of liking it like Salima and Jalal's because of Ruq's unpardonable blunders.

hi guys amazing thread. I too am wondering the reason the creatives have for making jalal tolerate all of ruks recent insults. Even hamida and GB are not able to tell her to stop. I think in this track is that she has smartly used the card of not being able to be a mother. And if we see the initial episodes then jalal knew that she wanted a child. We know that she wanted it for muz, but jalal thought that she really wants to become a mother and that is why he is accepting her crap now. Coming to bearing with ruks all this time, do u all remember till the Benazir saga, she was fine. But after it she became insecure. Cause Jalal had by that time started to feel deeply for jodha. Jalal had started to feel deeply for jodha, much earlier, but only thing is she could see it clearly. Jalal has that childhood bond with her, and that is what stops him. You all are right, once he has known jodha he has distanced himself from ruks, remember the sikri track, that was to show him the difference in jodha and ruks. This even ruks knows that cause of jodha jalal has gone away from her. Cause of jodha jalal has seen ruks shortcomings and has distanced himself from her cause he himself changed. But just because we get to know our friends shortcomings we cannot just throw them out of our life. This is what jalal thinks. Point is that he too was taught by bk that power is everything and ruks thought the same. That is why he found a person like him. Plus she was his childhood friend. So he only considered her special so must have given her the title of BEK. Later when jalal got married to salima, he respected her. But when jodha came things changed like I said. Jalal might be with her also out of guilt, firstly cause he loves jodha now but still feels a sense of responsibility to her. This she is now aware of and uses this as jalals weakness. Let her just tell jal that she took the kid as revenge.jalal will shred her to pieces. Cause this time it is just about enough. Jodha too feels guilty in taking ruks place as she thought ruks was everything to jalal before she came. She said it to jalal in the fake pregnancy track. So she too allows ruks to do what she wants. But when she stops her from doing what she had to do, she does shut ruks up. In this baby case, she herself had given the kid so she cannot say anything. Jalal too does not interfere when she and jodha talk as he feels gulity as he was the one who told her earlier that jodha means nothing in his life, but now she is the love of his life. He now sees ruks as kiddish and knows jodha will understand that she is childish. He knows that she is more mature than ruks. But what he does not know is the extent for which she can stoop for power and this track will wipe out all the guilt that both of them have about ruks. Jalal knows she likes power more than him as in the atifa track, but he does not know that she can even betray him for that power.
