IMO, Maham might have loved Jalal when she had been fostering him, otherwise she wouldn't have risked her life for him more than once. Over the years, her hunger for power and ambition to see Adham as a king, buried her love for Jalal deep down in her heart. When this ambition turned into obsession, she became so evil to the extent of killing Jalal's unborn kids and attempting to dethrone him. When she had lost Adham, she lost everything. As you have said, now it is Jalal's mom wanting to see him one last time, wanting to be called badi ammi' once, and seeking absolution from her son. Jalal, as a true son, will fulfill her wishes, and give her a peaceful dealth. After all, his love is sincere. My heart will go out for him, to see him heart broken again, this time for losing his badi ammi forever.😭😭

Yes Anjali...my heart too, goes out for Jalal only...if I cry today, it will only be for Jalal...though so far, I have never ever cried during a film or show in my entire life...I may have gotten moved a great deal on many occasions, but cry, never...😆
